Rule clarification for hazards resulting from collisions: - The default is that EVERYONE involved in a collision gets 2 hazards. - If BOTH vehicles in a collision choose to evade, then they both get just 1 hazard. - If EITHER or BOTH choose to make a smash attack, then they both get 2 hazards. - If one vehicle makes a smash attack on THEIR TURN and they have a RAM on the affected side, then they do not get any hazards. Thanks once again for this series! It's really awesome, and I only wish that I had a person or two that I could get to play with me regularly to try this out as well!
You BOTH have to declare an evade for either of you to receive 1 hazard during smash attacks, otherwise you recieve 2 hazards for smash attacks, unless you're using a ram (as you did). Great race and congratulations to the winner. Thanx for sharing.
Mines: Have Blast, so you would get one hazard for each unsaved damage from them. bye the way, that is usually how alot of these games go. That's why you play a figure 8, so the slower cars can become blockers. GG
My buddy and I just started our TX4 Season and so chose to include all the extras finally like audience votes, and it does make a difference in one sided matches for sure! This is definitely my latest addiction!!! My only complaint is not having the space for multiple tables lol!! GG guys
Nice guys, If your using Audience votes. You really should use sponsors and different sponsors gain audience votes based on different situations. Love your map. Remember in any ram if either player smashes, both receive 2 hazards, unless the smashing one has the ram. Also remember with a tail gate if the car in front is in a higher gear, you must both evade, and gain 1 hazard. This is why lighter vehicles like to roll dice early on, so they are in a higher gear and rams are less effective. As for the AV, it doesn't count for the starting gate, only gate 1. But sometimes people decided to give 1 AV to every player at the start of the race, to help when you roll terrible and cannot shift up. You can use it for burning rubber. Remember after a flip, you are gear 1 and wipeout, so the other player spins you.
Thanks for the clarifications. Some were mentioned already but we appreciate the feedback. I think we'll use sponsors in our next game and see if audience votes really make a difference. Glad you enjoyed the video anyway and thanks for the comments.
@@EncounterWargaming No problem. No trying to be a pain, just want to make sure you get the rule correct, for a better gaming experience. Thanks for posting as always
53:80 ish. Car definitely can't mount the other car because that's ability of monster trucks only. What you do. I have no idea. Probably stay put an take a hazard.
At around 13:30, the truck can't go to gear phase 5. Trucks are limited to 4th. It doesn't really matter, because he missed, but wanted to point it out. Additionally, I don't think the starting line counts as a gate, but again, since no one got votes, it doesn't matter much in this game. At the end of the flip, the other player should have had the opportunity to face the truck in any direction.
Awesome. Thanks for the input. We are aware trucks can only go to 4. Not sure what happened there but thanks for the corrections. We appreciate it and thanks for watching.
For sure! I'm new to the game, and have been anxiously waiting for your new videos so I can learn more about playing. Since I'm been reading the rules, they've been in the front of my mind! Hope to see more Gaslands soon!
Page 48-49 of the Gaslands Refuelled book addresses that. They specifically point out that it is unrealistic but the alternative is less fun. In that situation the truck doesn't actually move that turn. So either save his turn until the performance car moves or just assume all the cars are jammed together and the truck couldn't smash through.
@@EncounterWargaming this was somewhat of sarcastic joke :) personally I hate 40k, but I get the appeal. Hope to see many more great gaslands videos from you guys though.
