17:17 Remember that if you smash with a Ram, you DO NOT get hazards for the collision. To me, it's the biggest reason to have rams... Oh, and for a collision on a corner like that, the rule of carnage would sort of suggest that you count it as a T-bone rather than a tailgate. But that could definitely be a matter of opinion.
I've enjoyed all of your Batreps for Gaslands but I especially liked this one. The whole mess around Gate 1 was fantastic and you even used the Rule of Carnage correctly! Looking forward to your next race!
Love games with sponsors! It just adds a little more story to the game. About sideswipe, yeah you pretty much need a spin or slide... Also about the tailgate on the performance car: if the rammer is lower gear, both have to choose evade. Also, the performance car may then "slip away", which is an extra move! Disclaimer: I don't have Refueled, so there might be slight rule differences if you do...
I have been watching these, checking out the game. Pretty entertaining. Definitely going to get into it. A small thought for your terrain though - The game lore is supposed to be like a TV show/game show right? Maybe make up some cameras and stick them on various terrain bits. A box, a cylinder, a mounting wire, and a red recording dot are all you really need to sell it. *Maybe* do a quick and dirty gem effect for the lens.
You get to fire for every crew member so although one gunner in the pickup is operating the mini gun you can still fire the pistol with the other 2 crew members. May have factored in a bit in the end but would have probably still ended the same.
I can already tell you guys are still playing from the outdated version of Gaslands? I was pretty upset when I read Gaslands: Refueled and noticed that they completely changed Slime's perks (to Reckless and Tuning), I still prefer the old perks for Slime. The only thing that they added to Slime was the 'spiked fists' which allows them to use Rams using up zero build slots; I still haven't figured out what I would change with the newest perks and my Slime team?! So I am probably just going to change my sponsorship altogether? Might either get the Miyazaki-Monster Car, or might go with Mishkin or Maxxine? Rutherford is always fun to play with in any event in Gaslands. Good to finally see y'all advance a little bit more with Gaslands?! Awesome sauce guys, looking forward to seeing more and possibly even from the Gaslands: Refuelled Edition? I've been interested in seeing some of the newest sponsors in action? Thanx for sharing, sure did take a while, since the last time y'all raced each other?
Glad you liked it. Ya we really need to get the updated rules. Also it has been a while since we played. So many other things going on in life not to mention the high number of games we play on the channel now. Thanks for watching though. Hopefully we can get some more gaslands vids up soon.
@@EncounterWargaming updated rules are $2 for kindle right now.. I love your vids, would love yall to have the updated rules. also interested in using the old slime rules now
Sideswipes are indeed very hard to pull off. You basically need to slide or spin into the other car, as you assumed. See page 10 of the errata from the first edition: gaslands.com/resources/Gaslands-FAQ.pdf
Re: How to side-swipe. Sliding in works, but I think I'm going to house rule this. If the angle you hit the side at is less than 45 degrees, then it's a side swipe. Otherwise, it's a T-Bone. If it's kind of close, I'll leave it up to the ramming vehicle to decide.
Look up sideswipe rules or special rules for slime, see what it says? If you come into contact with a vehicles you may automatically sideswipe the vehicle if your slime. Would need to read the files in this. attack. Old school gamer bro's

Gas land looks like a super cool game but you need to use the rules correctly. Taking breaks for the Commercials would help the flow of the game. Considering this is televised on Mars and the elitist are betting on every turn.
Is this channel dead? I've been really enjoying your Gaslands videos and would love if there were more!

Cool. Thanks for the clarification.
@@EncounterWargaming Slime's newest perk allows you to build your vehicle with rams that require 0 build slots. The perk is called 'Spiked-Fist'. 😉
No your right. Their playing wussy rules

Awesome! Thanks for watching. Glad you liked it.
What color green on the "Slime" team cars? That is quite the nuclear/ apocalyptic look. The terrain looks awesome as well as those cars.
Thanks for doing these videos!! Videos like yours inspired me to make my own Gaslands channel. I’ll definitely be tuning in for more!!
So happy we could inspire you.
Sideswipe is considered a T-Bone. You all have the best terrain, map, and the cars are kicka$$
Thanks man.

Good to know. Thanks for the pointers.
We play it that a turn or veer etc that connects with another car's side on the template is a sideswipe too
BTW lol Slime 4 Lyfe!

Really like your battreps guys! GG
Thanks! Glad you're enjoying them. Make sure to subscribe for more. We have a bunch of gaslands content lined up for the future.
You didn't add the hazard for pushing it on the buggy,

Kinda useless (wasted points) to take 2x MGs on that Performance car since there is only 1 crew; am I correct on that?
Yes. We realised that after. Lol
