She never has. She watched some videos, researched it, and has always wanted to do welding. She will be starting welding school at the local tech school soon.
Those settings under the hood are a great start. But those are just a start. Adjust from there. This is my 3rd of the Titanium, and it seems like each one burns a little different. This particular machine seems to burn really hot.
Yeah, she's going to go far in her future welding career. She's going to come back one day soon, and we will do some stick off the Outlaw, and some aluminum Tig.
The biggest difference Flux/MIG is the size of the gas cone really affects the view of the puddle. That looks like 1.8 with .030 - G/6 is cold. F / 10 is the recommended, but I agree it's the right setting if you want to manipulate the puddle. Caroline - on the e you need puddle width consistency - about 60% of the way you have a noticeable indent. The rest of your comments are in line, got a few undercuts. I did full pressure/pipe/nuclear certifications and Non-Destructive testing back in 1980, but have not worked the field since (change of career path in the military).
Sooo how she managed to make it looks good and I couldn't do. Are you still using G-7.5 setting? Tell her to get into both HVAC and welding. Someday she'll look back and be proud of her achievement.
Good catch. Yeah, usually I do around D-5 because a lot of the time I'm using the Ti-125 for fences and handrails and such at 16g to 1/8. But this was 3/16" so it needed a little kick
@@JohnSmith-zo1icThanks John. If I believe in a product, I will push it as much as I can, like the Vulcan Outlaw. I wish Harbor Freight would sponsor me, or send me a welding machine to play with, but I don't see that happening.
Cool! Great job Caroline. You have a great teacher. ⭐
Congrats Caroline. You're an inspiration to the rest of us beginners! Thanks for sharing your ecperience. Great instructor too 🙂

I'm 43 years old, never welded. I'm about to go buy one of these to learn!
Before you buy one, go to my video I loaded on Thanksgiving. I'm giving another one away on Dec 15

Definitely isn't lacking confidence
Right? Yeah, she's bold, confident, eager, likable, and very smart. She's going to do great in whatever she decides to do.
Sooo how she managed to make it looks good and I couldn't do. Are you still using G-7.5 setting? Tell her to get into both HVAC and welding. Someday she'll look back and be proud of her achievement.
I believe the setting was G-6 on this time.
Put her in your show from now on
She has a great personality!
Wow better than me
She did really good for her first time ever.
I thought you always use setting D 5.5

are you employed by harbor freight?
