Sorry last one! It's also wonderful when somebody clearly understands the context as Paul does here when composing / arranging. I love the fact he is spot on here!!!
Paul, You have created a magnificent toccata for Pentecost. I love the "rushing wind" starting softly in the distance and then growing into the bold statement of the "Veni Creator Spiritus" chant. You have used these contrasting elements to present an exciting, tension building, composition. Your registrations in your performance capture the essence of the notes on the page. The huge chords at the end with your bold harmonizations create a stunning effect for both the organist and the listener. From the scripture you quoted, "as the Spirit gave them power" and so it is for you. Thanks to you for this provocative piece of organ literature !
Lieber Paul, unbeschreiblich schön, kräftig., gewaltig. Da weht der Geist. Pfingsten werden wir diese wunderschöne Toccata im Gottesdienst hören. Liebe Grüße Karl-Michael
Love the section when the tune comes in. It has to be a proclamation and you do that job magnificently! For those who don't agree on 'proclamation' then substitute for 'emploring'!!
A thrilling composition, Paul, that is both inspired and inspiring. Very evocative of the Wind and Fire that are manifestations of God the Holy Spirit. The Breath of God that can be like a gentle breeze as well as a mighty wind. And the Blazing Fire of the Divine Love can also be sensed in your beautiful music. You never cease to amaze all of us Komm Heiliger Geist! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Paul, with the Feast of Pentecost but three weeks away, this composition is at once timely and inspiring. Very well done. Be encouraged to continue. We need what you provide. Andre
Hey, lieber Paul. Das Stück hat mir auch sehr gut gefallen. Wie Musik die von der Ferne immer näher kommt. Danke für Deine Vorführung. Einen schönes Sonntag noch. Viele Grüße aus Görlitz.
interesting -- it leads you on- love dramatic pause at 2.00 and at 2.50 and again more building up to it thunderous conclusion. Another one of your great compositions Paul.
Gosh ! What an amazing composition ! If I was able to play such a piece, I would buy the score with pleasure ! It would make a perfect postlude for Pentecost ! Bravissimo Paul ! Keep going on composing on gregorian pieces like this ( maybe you can make them a little easier to play ? )
Thank you so much, Remi! Haha, well - I‘d bet that your Trio is harder to play than this Toccata! 😀 If you‘d like you can get yourself a copy of the piece and if you are not able to play it I‘ll gladly refund you the money and put in an extra piece - you could also print the first preview page and give that a try 😊 It‘s definitely not as hard as it sounds at first!

Absolutely fantastic Paul! I have no words except for that you're brilliant! So beautiful!😁👏👏👏👏👏❤️ I was on a concert so therefore I couldn't look at the premiere! Sorry!
Simply wonderful Paul - I just wish it was longer but then perhaps I'm being greedy!! Any chance of the Duruflé you said you'd put on the list for Pentecost???? Richard
Very Duruflé Paul opening bars (reminds me of the Duruflé requiem!)
Richard
Eine der faszinierendsten Melodien.
Das stimmt! Danke fürs Zuschauen 😀
