Hope you don't mind my saying, but I think you've got the indicator/sidelight clusters on upside down. I think the sidelights go to the outside to mark the corners. Nice clear lenses though - non standard! Oh, that reminds me: if you want clear side repeaters to match, Rover 25/MG ZR!
Ha! You're right. That's how they were in when I got them and I never thought to check. The clear lenses are nice but they're warped, so they're not very watertight. I'll be dammed if I'm paying £70 each to replace them though! Thanks for the tip on the side repeaters. I would like them to match the fronts. A job for next summer.
Just noticed your four dash holes. Nooooo! You’ll have to get a pro’ in to fix that. As for your brakes (previous video). Yes. I confirm: They’re terrible from new! That’s why everyone pulls the OEM calipers off. Also regarding the wheel nuts. Get on EBay and get yourself some silver plastic covers. It transforms these wheels.
Haha. Good spot. I used the holes to mount a phone holder. Needed one anyway. Brakes - fronts are great (I put Brembo pads in and they're fantastic) but six months in my handbrake is shot is again. You're right, a PNM rear set will have to go in. Not cheap though (and basically VW Golf rear calipers with an adaptor) My wheels bolts are still tip-top and I like the black. I'm not much into silver but you can get black covers too. Tricky to get off though. Anyway, thanks for the watch and the comment. You're obviously an M100 owner and everyone I've met so afflicted so far has been just great. 👍
@@ConorTwomey Yes. The bolt covers come in black too. They usually come with a little tool to pull them off. For me it transformed the S2 wheels... As for the brakes. I’d invest in front items if you’re going to invest at all. I put Hi-Spec all round on mine. But I’d just do the fronts next time. Anyway. Get yourself a Mountain Chip off the LEC site. That’s all the upgrade you’ll ever need! Especially in these cold months when the air is dense.
Thanks Conor another belter.
Absolutely loving your work...never have I wanted a Lotus more!!!!!
You'll want one even more after the next vid!
