Brian Mcminn Cuz it was funny. Like Randy was an top main eventer in his prime. Also the youngest world champ in history. He was also one of WWE's biggest stars and a huge draw at that time. Like he was given all that huge success away just to avoid the Undertaker 😆😆
Back then, Randy Orton was must see tv, now, he's a piss break, THIS was his prime, he was money right here, after legacy, randy Orton started getting stale, he's had just as many heel/face turns as the big show, he's TOTALLY devoid of any semblance of charisma, his matches are "Mr. Hughes" levels of boring, Randy Orton in 2020 is basically the antithesis of Randy Orton in 2005
This feud was awesome. It felt like a horror psychological movie as undertaker was a demon and randy was a hero trying to conquer fear. Not to mention back when hell in a cell was special, scary, and the place to end feuds. Love the good old days.
That was the moment when his Legend Killer persona reached its' climax. Taker was the only one left on his list. And the fact that it was an inter-brand feud at first made it more awesome. A guy from Raw is challenging a legend from Smackdown. Damn! The timing is perfection lol. I can still clearly remember how he RKO'd poor Stacy that night on Raw, turning heel on the process...

yeah in terms of his character but in terms of wrestling ability 2007-2009 was taker's prime years and it peaked in 2010 at wm 26 with the match with shawn taker was still a very good wrestler after that too but in late 2000s he was the top 5 in ring performers for wwe
Everything about the Undertaker vs Randy Orton feud was fantastic, it had great matches, great buildup, fiery promos and memorable segments. After constantly getting buried by Triple H and Evolution not to mention having a very lukewarm run as a face which resulted in fans slowly turning on him in favour of Batista, Randy Orton turning heel and challenging Taker in a legend vs legend killer at WM21 was his saving grace. They went out and had one of the best matches on the show plus Orton came very close to ending the streak. The program put Randy Orton back on the map and re established him as one of the top heels in the company, it was the best rivalry of 2005 and to this day it's one of my all time favourites.

I just love this rivalry, many many many people hate all the spooky and scary things but I just loved it, when Bob Orton was talking with Randy backstage and outta nowhere he turns into a blood fountain for example, that's one of the things that made this rivalry so unforgettable to me
i was always a randy fan and my best friend was team taker, during this feud we got soooooo shitty with each other over who was better, nothing beats a feud like taker and orton. nothin but great memories :')
Damn I was 9 years old in 2005. I remember this feud but never could see the pay per views at the time cause my mother didnt want me watching Wrestling. Randy became my favorite every time he would be on smackdown with his father fighting Undertaker. Top 10 feud all time
Michael Jesiel same. The one guy that changed my opinion was Kevin Owens in 2015, up until then I was on the side of the babyfaces. Now I appreciate all the heels I hated as a kid, especially Edge.
Great Video PAV. I really liked your point at the end about how this feud didn’t even need a World Championship to make it any better, that’s a real testament to how all time great this was. Their individual characters at this time in both their careers really were a match made in heaven. How Undertaker looked coming out of that casket ⚰️ at the end of Survivor Series was truly peak Deadman for me!! Epic stuff
I didn't know Randy Orton plays and streams on twitch, but yeah 2005 was when I also became a Randy Orton fan. I only thought the biggest gamers in the WWE are Austin/Xavier Woods, AJ Styles, and Asuka
This was one of the peak beefs I remember I was shocked af talking about this beef every single day at school God they don't make storylines like this anymore 😢😢
Yooooo this storyline was awesome from start to finish and it had 3 underrated matches that I don't see anyone talk about nowadays. We all know how awesome Taker and Orton's WrestleMania 21 match was, but their Summerslam match in August was great as well. The Handicap Casket Match at No Mercy in October was great and the feud ended with a really underrated Hell In A Cell Match at Armageddon in December. The feud also has some awesome segments like Orton "killing" Taker by driving him in the back of Eddie Guerrero's lowrider through the stage and that one backstage segment where Bob Orton's face was all bloody.
This was a very very very underrated fued, one of them fued that’s quietly was one of the best fueds of all - time and both parties got great investments into there characters/careers after this as The Undertaker got a rejuvenated boost for his character and really solidify Randy Orton as a major major player in the years ahead. The winning of the world heavyweight championship his 1st time didn’t solidify him, the fued with Mick Foley for the I.C title was just a showcase of preparation of him being a top star, The fued with Triple H definitely didn’t do it but this Undertaker fued was the stamp of approval.
The Thumbnail and Fued was my Brother in law furst introduction of Wrestling, he just turned 5 in Kindergarten and my Wife was 9 in 4th Grade and they were Watching Smackdown at their Grandma's and the episode of Taker Stalking Randy was what they saw. Saskt he stopped watching and didn't start watching regularly until Late 2010 so he missed some good stuff. This was A Great Feud.
Randy orton vs undertaker was the first hell in a cell match I ever saw and it was awesome I love hell in a cell matches when my big brother played smackdown shut your mouth I noticed him playing a hell in a cell match and I thought it was cool

Bob Orton was actually fired due to not revealing he had Hepatitis C before that Hell in a Cell match, Undertaker was furious that they didn't tell him beforehand about Orton's disease.
This was the feud that got me into wrestling. The eddie guerrero car incident was literally my 2nd smackdown episode and i thought undertaker literally died. I went into the other room where i bawled in front of my mom. I’ll never forget that lol.

I just love this rivalry, many many many people hate all the spooky and scary things but I just loved it, when Bob Orton was talking with Randy backstage and outta nowhere he turns into a blood fountain for example, that's one of the things that made this rivalry so unforgettable to me
I miss when in WWE you could watch a guy attempt to murder a zombie multiple times only for the zombie to haunt him later
I think you forgot to mention taker was bust open and bleeding everywhere
He said that already
@@battlerapking4646 I feel like there was a joke in there that ya missed bud
the best feud in ruthless agression era, made me love wrestling up to this day
i was always a randy fan and my best friend was team taker, during this feud we got soooooo shitty with each other over who was better, nothing beats a feud like taker and orton. nothin but great memories :')
8:11. RIP Prodigy. This was a great video keep up the work brodie
Damn I was 9 years old in 2005. I remember this feud but never could see the pay per views at the time cause my mother didnt want me watching Wrestling. Randy became my favorite every time he would be on smackdown with his father fighting Undertaker. Top 10 feud all time
Awesome vid. Love the nod to Shook Ones Part II!
When i was a kid i hated heels now i love them
Michael Jesiel lemme guess... edgy teen now? Lmao
@@StrangeHammer no not really just enjoy they're character more
I wasn’t the only one
Michael Jesiel same. The one guy that changed my opinion was Kevin Owens in 2015, up until then I was on the side of the babyfaces. Now I appreciate all the heels I hated as a kid, especially Edge.
I used to hate edge but now i understand what is the true meaning of Heels
Randy Orton made the streak an obsession and something to fight over for it and made it prestigious.
You edit your videos so well man. Thanks for the trip down memory lane too
I have never seen a channel narrate wwe stuff but man it sure is super fun. Keep up the great work. I love looking back on childhood storylines
Lmao he said "straight spongebob "I can't do it mr. Krabs" vibes" that commentary tho
Man I remember all of this literally like it was yesterday
Samoa Joe is a big gamer too
Shelton Benjamin loves gaming as well. He had a PSP way back in the day when nobody else cared about it.
RKO Chokeslam reversal was sooooo good. Loved this match and was a huge Orton fan.
I love watching WrestlingGifs, not only because I love his content but because I can see his videos gradually getting better in quality
We need more storylines like this bc they took theyre time and they tried their hardest
Imagine Taker trying to explain how he caught Hep C from Ortons dad lmao 😭 Loved the fued, glad I was about 12 at the time and this was magical
He made the legend killer see a therapist that’s why it was so dope!
Randy orton vs undertaker was the first hell in a cell match I ever saw and it was awesome I love hell in a cell matches when my big brother played smackdown shut your mouth I noticed him playing a hell in a cell match and I thought it was cool
Thanks for all your content bro…I used to be a biiiiiig wrestling fan until about 2008….this is reminds me what it was really all about and what made the years previously so special…I tried to go back to it but it’s just not the same
I love how in every Randy Orton feud, Pav says that "this is the one that made me a Randy Orton fan."
Bruh you are The John Cena of youtube I dont fucking care, what a GOAT, this video is so GOOD.
Evolution turned RKO into a star. Mick turned RKO into a man.
Taker turned RKO into a savage.
The McMahons turned RKO into the apex predator
Triple H turned RKO into the Viper.
Cena turned RKO into a legend
Very underrated rivalry
One of my favorites
This was absolutely my favorite story line honestly
Bob Orton was actually fired due to not revealing he had Hepatitis C before that Hell in a Cell match, Undertaker was furious that they didn't tell him beforehand about Orton's disease.
This was the feud that got me into wrestling. The eddie guerrero car incident was literally my 2nd smackdown episode and i thought undertaker literally died. I went into the other room where i bawled in front of my mom. I’ll never forget that lol.
ONE OF THE BEST FEUDS MIND GAMES DRAMA NO TITLE INVOLVED SHEESHHH THIS IS MAGIC
Wow, love this video! Used to be so afraid of taker. All of the story lines they made for taker definitely contributed to this! Love to hear about this
man, as a kid randy was just this greased up weirdo my brothers and i made fun of. videos like this really make me appreciate how good he was
Dude, you sound like you are on the verge of breaking down in tears at the end of every other sentence.
That armageddon 05’ match was the best in my opinion

yo. Great content chief, love and peace from Nigeria. I am enjoying your content, I usually don't watch WWE anymore, so I just follow your post on social media. Very beautiful work mehn!
When Undertaker slams that cell door u just know it’s hell first class
I'm no longer into WWE, but I love your videos. They are fantastic, keep it up.
I’ve been saying this for a while .. Legend Killer RO>>> Viper RO
Viper Orton just needs a long term storyline maybe turn to the newbie killer
This was such a great storyline it really pulled me in when i was younger glad i was able to experience this instead of today’s bullshit
Dude how can you not laugh at your own jokes i swear your the funniest wrestling commentator i have ever found on youtube 😂😂😂😂
Great job putting this video together!! Forgot how great this died was
ima keep rewatching this for years
This is one of the feuds I would've loved to see while it was happening.
One of my favorite wrestling rivalries in the Ruthless Aggression Era.
The feud between the undertaker and Randy Orton was one of my favorites as welloh my God the storytelling the profession that everything the casket on fire the match of WrestleMania SummerSlam the episode of SmackDown no mercy and Armageddon the segments the brutality holy s*** that rivalry was so good at its finest
I recall this, all of it. It was awesome man.
I love your videos, they get to tell me about the great stuff that happened in the wwe that I didn't get to experience cause I wasn't Born yet and I also love the way you describe them
I love you content WrestlingGifs keep up the grind bro ❤
