Unfortunately, SO many go to court, and the case either gets dropped or they get put on probation. Because the jails are so full they can't house them and they can't/won't/don't get them mental health and/or substance abuse help. I could only imagine how many could be helped if the money allocated to illegal immigrants was available to our American citizens. Some don't want help. Back in the 80's, we (Fire/EMS service) always had a spring-loaded auto center punch as part of our equipment that usually every firefighter had in there POV or on their person. That and a seatbelt cutter were vital and very effective. No beating on the glass over and over. Push it into the window and it was a guarantee that the window would break. No violent action needed. I don't know why police departments never caught on.
Police do have the window punches but because they have to carry so much other crap every time they get out of the vehicle, they're often just in their cars so you have to go get it. The problem then becomes that when it gets used, there's always several cars responding by then so in the following excitement, it'll get misplaced or put in someone else's car, etc. That's why you'll see these officers be deadass serious about their handcuffs. In some instances, you have patrol cops who stay out patrolling while other officers will come in to do transport and intake, which is a pretty efficient system as it doesn't keep leaving areas completely unattended if those officers get hung up at the jail, which can happen on busy nights. But you'll see the original officer make sure they get their handcuffs back BEFORE that person leaves.
One can only think how many times law abiding citizens have had to wait for assistance from an ambulance in the United States, because the medical clientele is busy helping "needy" criminals with injuries or illnesses that are not real. It is incredibly annoying to see the police acting as servants to these people who deserve nothing but prison!
That’s why most cities and counties have more than 1 ambulance. 🙄 The real problem is people calling for an ambulance when they or someone else could’ve driven to the hospital. If the situation isn’t life threatening or the person is alone and can’t drive themselves, it’s a waste of our time.
The police are legally responsible for every single persons medical safety the moment they are in custody. They are not going to start denying them medical care because they say "we ain't going to waste no medical care on a damn criminal" who isn't convicted yet, while they aren't qualified to judge medical matters. The very first time someone has anything approaching an actual medical issue and is refused care they will sue for ten million dollars and win. Because it's clearly established that the police are responsible for their safety, and if they aren't going to allow them to leave to get help themselves, they need to provide it. In most areas they are private companies anyway and they make sure they have enough units to cover the normal calls that come in, or they are losing money. Someone else will get that call.

Like "you better not ask for medical assistance unless you are absolutely sure you are dying, because you will be charged with additional charges". That will last until the first time someone claims they had a medical issue but were too scared to ask for it because they were afraid it would be considered unnecessary and they would be charged. As for charging them money, do you think most of these people will ever pay that bill? They already get one in a lot of cases.

My sentence day I took at least a gram and a half of h 3 bars 300$ in Crack then my dad got me for court I was literally hitting the pipe as he walked in smh. He gave me a bunch of morphine and I spent 3 days in the bullpen sleeping ppl thought I died a few times because I didn't move for almost 2 days. Got to the floor that determines what floor you go to intake. I was a day in there full withdrawal they let us out so I figured since I had violent extremely loud diarrhea and just exploded the toilet I had enough time to shower and that couldn't have been further then the truth. I'm naked lathered up mid shower and it happened I tried to be quiet but I had no control over that feature anymore my body was in destruct mode and I also exploded the shower, it was so loud and graphic that the c.o came over to me reluctantly and asked bro you alright and the entire pod could smell it and was freaking cause ppl still had to use it lmfao. I got cleaned up he told the pod shut the hell up I could die got the murder l nurse got some trustee's to clean the dookie 🚀 I let out they gave me volume pepto blood pressure pills and sent me on my way. One can only think how many times law abiding citizens have had to wait for assistance from an ambulance in the United States, because the medical clientele is busy helping "needy" criminals with injuries or illnesses that are not real. It is incredibly annoying to see the police acting as servants to these people who deserve nothing but prison!

That’s why most cities and counties have more than 1 ambulance. 🙄 The real problem is people calling for an ambulance when they or someone else could’ve driven to the hospital. If the situation isn’t life threatening or the person is alone and can’t drive themselves, it’s a waste of our time.
The police are legally responsible for every single persons medical safety the moment they are in custody. They are not going to start denying them medical care because they say "we ain't going to waste no medical care on a damn criminal" who isn't convicted yet, while they aren't qualified to judge medical matters. The very first time someone has anything approaching an actual medical issue and is refused care they will sue for ten million dollars and win. Because it's clearly established that the police are responsible for their safety, and if they aren't going to allow them to leave to get help themselves, they need to provide it. In most areas they are private companies anyway and they make sure they have enough units to cover the normal calls that come in, or they are losing money. Someone else will get that call.

Like "you better not ask for medical assistance unless you are absolutely sure you are dying, because you will be charged with additional charges". That will last until the first time someone claims they had a medical issue but were too scared to ask for it because they were afraid it would be considered unnecessary and they would be charged. As for charging them money, do you think most of these people will ever pay that bill? They already get one in a lot of cases.

@mrbisshie boy howdy is it first felony when I got sentenced I was doing almost 2gs of h a day smoking Crack regularly taking up to 5 Xanax bars a day with a few morphine pills mixed in if my dealers wasn't fast enough. My sentence day I took at least a gram and a half of h 3 bars 300$ in Crack then my dad got me for court I was literally hitting the pipe as he walked in smh. He gave me a bunch of morphine and I spent 3 days in the bullpen sleeping ppl thought I died a few times because I didn't move for almost 2 days. Got to the floor that determines what floor you go to intake. I was a day in there full withdrawal they let us out so I figured since I had violent extremely loud diarrhea and just exploded the toilet I had enough time to shower and that couldn't have been further then the truth. I'm naked lathered up mid shower and it happened I tried to be quiet but I had no control over that feature anymore my body was in destruct mode and I also exploded the shower, it was so loud and graphic that the c.o came over to me reluctantly and asked bro you alright and the entire pod could smell it and was freaking cause ppl still had to use it lmfao. I got cleaned up he told the pod shut the hell up I could die got the murder l nurse got some trustee's to clean the dookie 🚀 I let out they gave me volume pepto blood pressure pills and sent me on my way. Said I'd never do it again but stayed with the girl I was doing all the dumb stuff I was doing with caught 8 more felonies so needless to say I did it many times more before figuring out a solution.
