  • It's one week to go before the layout debuts at the Festival of British Railway Modelling in Doncaster. Are the team ready?

This looks like a brilliant layout. Making one is more a work of art than anything else!! A work of art with running trains!! WONDERFUL!!!!

Wild horses couldn’t keep me away! See you first thing Saturday! 😀

That layout has come on a great! I really can’t wait for the Stamford exhibition now, as Dawlish is one of my favourite locations, but this section as it turns inland towards Teignmouth I can’t recall seeing modelled before, which is great to see 😎 I actually like simple layouts like this as you can just sit back and enjoy what is going on, which I think will really appeal to the younger enthusiasts. Will you be adding any more little details like birds in the cliffs or any other local landmarks or characters? 🤔

This is fantastic, so sad I can't make Doncaster to see it in person.

The layout is looking great, really coming along. But you do realize this is the Teignmouth side of Parsons tunnel, not Dawlish?

Looks great - I think the beach should be more of a red colour though, unless that’s just the effect of the video.

Superb scenery very impressive, BUT like others have said it’s Teignmouth and as the main problem with Hornby in TT and remember the live steam fiasco It’s all LNER locos where are the Kings, Castles,Halls & Westerns?

  • @MartynCann

    That's Teignmouth not Dawlish
