This thread right here just made my night. Aaaaaaand gave me something to check out this week. I hadn't heard this song in YEARS. It sent me back 20 some years. I just drove pass my house twice listening (belting out lyrics) to this on repeat.
i stumbled upon these guys in september last year and since then i havent been able to stop listening to their music. it's just way too good. I wasnt around when they produced these masterpieces but i still cherish each and every second of their work. you just have to love them.
I heard you driving in my car Then in a frozen bar I claimed I didn't care for you. But your verse got trapped inside my head Over and over again You played yourself to death in me. I thought I'd drop you easily But that was not to be You burrowed like a summer tick. So you invade my sleep And confuse my dreams Turn my nights to sleepless itch. Stuck on you, til' the end of time I'm too tired to fight your rhyme Stuck on you, til' the end of time You've got me paralyzed. Holding on the telephone I hear your midrange moan You're everywhere inside my room. Even when I'm all alone I hear your mellow drone You're everwhere inside of me. Stuck on you, til' the end of time I'm too tired to fight your rhyme Stuck on you, til' the end of time You've got me paralyzed. You've got me trapped I can't escape Your incessant whine When you beam it out All across the sky No I can't escape Your insipid rhyme When you shoot it deep Straight into my mind.
Not sure where I was when this song and this band first hit the scene. Just stumbled on them recently and I feel as if I can see new colours in my world.
@@oscarriley9265 There were a few bands in the 90s that were awesome but grossly underrated. Personally, I think it was because of the rapid acceleration of subgenres that caused emerging bands from other scenes to die. HUM, Failure and Swervedriver are the three golden examples of this imo. All 3 bands have a massive cult following though so perhaps they still win out in the long run. Swervedriver for example came in between shoegaze and grunge, and did something completely unique within both, but Britpop completely decimated anything in the UK rock ecosystem.
You are so fabulous. Your song had heartfelt meaning to me when it was played on KROQ. Thank you for your artistic contribution, I enjoy you every time I hear this masterpiece! Edit: is little red balloons about heroin?
One of the most underrated songs in my book
X2
Gary Oldman: Oscar winner and indie rock legend
veerchasm1 hahahaha!
@howzitcal Maybe it's just the glasses, but something actually made Ken Andrews look sort of like a Gary Oldman character
Looks like a happy Steve Albini
Only Ken can change from Keanu Reeves to Gary Oldman in a span of 20 years
Omg he did change from Keanu Reeves to Gary oldman
Incredible performance by an incredible band we're lucky to have back again.
I miss these guys and Hum.
Both bands are still alive and kicking. I miss the era, but the music remains.
Hum released an incredible album last year and Failure just released a new one this month

This tidal wave of sound from just 3 people is incredible
Great band. Fantastic Planet is still a calling card as one of the best albums from the '90s. Glad the guys got back together. This is cool.
90s kids all around there..love failure!
This band this song will always be awesome.
Kudos to the sound guy! amazing balance.
Ive heard the band does their own sound engineering for shows
Yeah it was probably Ken haha@@TooManyBoats1
Perfect song. Perfect performance. Perfect band. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

Holy shit that was sooooooo GOOD!
Incredible to hear a band and a singer who can pull off such a beautiful song.
How this song was not a hit is a mystery to me
How this entire album wasn't a hit is a mystery to me

Love this song. Brings back memories from the 90s. Sweet guitar the lead singer is playing.
My god this sounds huge!
absolute classic.
Saw them and Swervedriver together a few years back. Wow oh wow.
The irony failure is so much win
Yes I totally agree. I saw them open for local h . They were the headliner in my opinion.
Bendito sea el dia en que escuché a failure por primera vez 🤘🔥
That guitar sound 😱
Lo mejor de lo mejor! Qué puta calidad!

Wow. This one really takes me back and hits me in the feels. Great band. Great song. ✊
i have the original video clip on vhs recorded from mtv...pure love !!! hearing this live version its marvelous !
Heavy!
Incredible how this song fits good even without bass in some parts!
Greg just plays the bassline on the synth in the same time he does the main riff
i always thought the synth part was made with guitar
@@Mattwarszawafrom one interview I saw, it was played with a keyboard through a guitar amp with a lot of distortion
high school days..
Such quality live
Cool song. Love the single note riff.
So F-ing Good!!!
Badass
Thanks Brazil
Never seen a live band with so much clothes on. The bassist sure loves his coat haha. But it doesn't matter. great performance!

Dirty blue balloons. And yes... I believe it is.
I wish I got our wedding band to play this song
These guys are very similar to floater
Listen Superheaven for fans of Failure
Especially their second album, can totally see the failure influence
a lot of sysadmins and engineers in the first row, nice
he's like those uncles who always talk about how they used to play in a band, but better
Is that Weezer's drummer on the left at 3:09?
is that David Cross in the front row?
Where are the awesome vocal harmonics of this song ?
Indie rock had "Today" by the Pumpkins...Alternative rock had this song
Always thought this was a paramore song...had no idea it was a cover.
ear porn....

To the ones who witnessed this rare event………. You have no idea ho lucky you are !!!!!!!!!
just saw them live tonight, getting to hear this one was magical

LA 90s. Subsrances. Club Lingerie. Good times. Nodding out in front of doorman. Lmao thank god for BETTY FORD
Seth Rogen in the audience
Does he have a stainless steel guitar?
It should have had a longer outro
how is the crowd not sobbing what
This is like the THX ad but a band
was the bass during the keyboard riff pre-recorded?
Greg was playing it on keys with his left hand.
@@hammalammadingdong6244 ah that makes sense
Greg E. Is hot af❤️
Awkward transitions between verses and chorus. Didn't a second guitarist used to play the melody (Troy?)?

what a dead crowd, failure deserves better
Pasao a cartas magic pero a wns que si se bañan .
Rivers Cuomo accidentally ate two multivitamins
