I had the same experience with my last baby as far as looking back at how i looked and felt. I didnt wear make up, i didnt do my hair, i just didnt care, and i thought that was fine, BUT to me, in retrospect, i wish i had cared more. SO this time, my third baby, i am going to put effort into making myself feel good, do some make up, do my hair, got a cute outfit, cos MOMMAS we need to not forget ourselves. It is ok to care for ourselves however we best see fit
The first video I watched of yours was the one where you found out you were/are pregnant with Darcy and I had also just found out I was pregnant. I unfortunately miscarried but I was supposed to be due November 18th(ish). It makes me so happy to see you carry to term and finally get to have your rainbow daughter baby. I have been Praying for you both! For a safe and easy labor💕
Loved using the adult diapers vs the hospital issued mesh undies. I even used them when I got home until the bleeding slowed enough to use a normal pad.
Depends (or I used the Always brand👌) are GAMECHANGERS for postpartum!! Wish I had them with my first born. Forget all the different pads & granny panties. Just makes it all so much easier.
34 weeks today and just ordered the rest of my needed stuff from my registry and also got my hospital bag stuff. I got my dog a babysitter this weekend while my husband is out of town just to go through stuff uninterrupted, so this video comes just in time 😀
Hospital where I live sends you home with ALOT OF STUFF too. Mainly diapers wipes and formula, a bunch of samples and coupons plus a welcome baby gift basket. I'm due on Oct 29th.
Use the mesh panties and pad the hospital provides for the first 10-15 hours, when the nurse will be coming in and pushing on your belly. Then use the adult diapers after when you feel more put together and they will be checking you less often. 😉 Forgot to mention that I am today 30 weeks. A sock that there is only about 10 weeks left. Odds are I’ll go at 39 weeks like my last two which I went exactly 7 days earlier than my EDD. People make me feel sorry for them hearing about long labors, by the time I am timing contractions and going in my labor is about 6-9 hours and pushing just minutes.
I'm 32 weeks 6 days. I'm due December 14th but I have a C-section scheduled for December 11. I have to deliver about 60 miles away from my at the children's hospital in Buffalo NY. The hospital that I live near will not take me and my baby because it's high risk. So in the event that I do go all the way to my scheduled date I'm definitely going to pack some of the things that you said. I had my son via emergency C-section at 31 weeks 4days. So I didn't even have a bag packed I didn't plan on having him. My daughter was in the NICU for 18 days and I didn't pack nearly enough. So I'm going to pack stuff for a regular stay and then I will pack another bag that I know I will need if the baby has to be in the NICU. When I m my daughter I did not go home at all until she was released from the hospital when she was 18 days old.I didn't want to leave her I didn't want a nurse feeding her or changing her and I was a stay-at-home mom to her so I didn't need to be at home my son is 13 he can take care of himself pretty good with my fiance and home so I was lucky enough to be able to stay. The best sing that I packed when I had my daughter was my blanket and pillow from home. I bought a queen-size comforter and a pillow that was cooling on one side and it was the best thing I could have brought to the hospital.
I’m so excited for you to welcome Darcy into this world!! I love the outfits you have picked out for her:) the neutral colors are also my favorite too!
I can’t believe you are already getting your bags packed. Your pregnancy is flying by. You look great momma glowing as always. You are a beautiful pregnant goddess and you have the cutest bump. Do you have any stretch marks and are you using anything for them? Did you do maternity photos or a belly cast? Do you have any embarrassing symptoms like lots of gas farting burping etc or just embarrassing symptoms in general? Have you ever ever had anyone ask to rub or touch the bump to feel baby move or kick? How do you feel about belly touches?
You make a good point about your OB not preventing your labor progressing if you do go into labor after 34 weeks. I didnt think of that. I was going to pack my bags after 36 weeks but now I may do it sooner. And I'll have to ask my OB that same question at my next appointment. I also try to pack lite, just need the basics.
i'd love if you could show us how you sterilize! i'm 36 weeks. wondering if i should start sterilizing my bottles/pacis now and how to store them once i do so!
I sterilized all of my son's stuff right after we came home from the hospital but I think it would've been so much better to have it done before hand! I think you can sterilize it ahead of time and then just wash it well right before use (at least that's what I plan to do next time!)
I was so excited. when i seen that it was your hospital bag , and diaper bag video. I never packed much either when i had my kiddos. I Love your sweater, where did you buy it at ? Aww you look so Beautiful. Thanks for the bump shot ! Not much Longer now and Darcy Will Be Here ! 😇 👶can't Wait. I Love Y'all So Big ! 😍😘💚💜👣🐘🌈
Snow In October Phone charger loose fitting clothes& pjs. Sweater since it’s winter time now leggings slippers. Small toiletry items hair ties your own blanket so you can feel comfortable & pillow. Hospital ones aren’t super soft or comfortable. The baby on the other hand needs a set of warm clothes to go home man and honestly that’s just about it maybe a swaddle as well. The hospital with her I just bought everything else for him or her
Sometimes hospitals have websites, so if yours does look at their labor unit section on the website. My hospital has one and it says what I should bring for the birth, postpartum, and baby. It also tells me what they'll give me
Phillips Family SO true!!! I have a 2 year old and 36 weeks pregnant now..... I wasn’t going to bring boppy but now I am so my daughter can hold her sissy!!!! Thanks for sharing that tip I didn’t even think about that!
was newborn size ok or did you need a bigger one??? i'm having my daughter on the first week of april and i got her size '1 month' (54 cm - newborn size here is 52cm) for like her first 1-2 weeks after she is born and my mother insists it's going to be too small. i think it's ok, its not 'newborn' it's for up '1 month'... what is your opinion????
Heidi Maidens hey I’m 33 weeks and 2 days! I haven’t bought anything for my hospital bag or barely any of the things I’ll need when she’s born. Baby two and totally procrastinating!
@@courtneylaplante8398 haha this is my first and I've been going crazy trying to make sure I have everything ready for her. I'm usually a master procrastinator but her nursery has been done and stocked since week 29 lmao
33.4 wks, I packed a towel in my bag 🙃 only because I hate those small half towels the hospital provides. Only thing I need is the adult diapers I’ve been going back and fourth with wanting to get some or not, but I think I’m leaning to getting some.
No harm in being prepared. My water began leaking at 28 weeks and I was eventually hospitalized for a week before my daughter was born at 34 weeks. I was thankful I had most of my things together before hand! Pregnant with our second and I'm 24 weeks and think I'll start again soon
Lol any thoughts on packing all dark undies and bras and then really light tops and bottoms 🤷🏼♀️😂 love your videos and how real you are it’s refreshing !
Hi! I am in Florida too! Are you delivering at Winnie? I am 33weeks and will be delivering there ❤️ The $5 meal for hubby sounds the same lol. Thanks for the video! Gonna pack my bag after my shower next week ❤️❤️❤️
When I had my son I had an emergency C-section my amniotic fluid was infected so I didn't bleed that much the doctors did a good job of getting everything out. But when I had my daughter I used the adult diapers and they were amazing.
I’m only 31 weeks and this makes me want to pack my bag already 😭 this is also my third baby so I definitely will in the next few weeks but I can’t wait!🥰
I said in the video if you watched it....that I used it last time I had a baby to watch Netflix. I obviously didn’t use it when I was pushing but my labor was long and it gets boring.
Lauren Self yea i watched this video with you explaining that you let your husband be on the laptop. i knew i had a feeling you wouldn't. sorry about your labor being long . thats how the process works . it wouldn't be boring when you have your daughter
I know how the process works. Obviously it’s not boring when my daughter is out. There’s nothing wrong with bringing my computer to pass the time. But thanks.
I’m sure everyone’s gonna ask, but where’s your sweater from?? It’s so cute! Is it maternity?
Darci Fitzgerald it’s the brand thread+ supply but I got it from TJ Maxx! It’s currently sold out everywhere 😭
Darci Fitzgerald my sister got the same one (or a lookalike at Walmart last week!:))
I bought the same sweater at TJ Maxx and it’s sooo cute sadly all the seams are coming apart after the 3 wash... 🙁
Please Lauren, tell me where you got this sweater from?! I’ll be really big for the holidays and in need of cozy sweaters and I loooove yours ❤️
Instablaster.
Omg those diapers were so tiny 😭😭😭 I always forget how small they are! You got me so excited to pack my hospital bag and I’m only 12 weeks lol
I know😭😭😭 seeing all the small things is making me so excited!!!!
I’m 29 weeks and starting to plan all the stuff I’ll need to pack, super helpful video as always!
Jessica Giffin 29 weeks here too!
I had the same experience with my last baby as far as looking back at how i looked and felt. NF LCR Same here! I care but I don’t care lol does that make sense? I want to look human at least lol
I’m going to be a new mom and I don’t want to overpack so this was really helpful to me.
I have to two kids and I'm not pregnant but here I am supporting Lauren lol.

Kimberly Iloreta awww congrats . hope you have a safe delivery
Loved using the adult diapers vs the hospital issued mesh undies. I even used them when I got home until the bleeding slowed enough to use a normal pad.
Carolyn Abbott Same here the diapers are a game changer!!!!
I’m now 35 weeks. I should start packing.. 😁 Thanks for sharing!
Bow Jiranun same lol
Bow Jiranun same 😂
Im now 36 weeks and she's already ready lol. I still haven't packed.

I live in Fl to and for my last 2 kids they always give me alot of stuff. Not only for myself but for my baby❤
Most helpful Hospital Bag video I’ve seen. I’m 29 weeks and also will also be giving birth at Winnie Palmer. We have our tour January 2!

The bag you packed your stuff in, are there any similar to that you could share? I love it and can't find any similar at Target.
Can’t believe it’s time 😱 I first found your channel with Brodys whats in my hospital bag 💜💜💜

KB KaliGirl she made a very good point! I’m 36 weeks now so I better get on it!

Sarah Holmgren YES YES and YES! I’m 36 weeks myself and have the same question

Hannah Hensley thank you!!! Exactly what I’m going to do!
Easiest way to sterilise it to pop everything in a hot pot on the stove and let it boil for a few minutes (I forget how long as my daughter is 2)
Sorry about the loss of your little one 😘
I was so excited. when i seen that it was your hospital bag , and diaper bag video. I never packed much either when i had my kiddos. I Love your sweater, where did you buy it at ? My husband will be home soon. So, I'll have to watch later. I'm looking forward to seeing how similar/different our bags will be.
The boppy is also great if you want big brother to hold her(obviously with help) lol
Good idea!!
Phillips Family SO true!!! I have a 2 year old and 36 weeks pregnant now..... I wasn’t going to bring boppy but now I am so my daughter can hold her sissy!!!! Thanks for sharing that tip I didn’t even think about that!
I’m due in December also!! But it gets really cold here and I’m a little worried about what to bring her home in 😬 I’ll probably do several layers.
was newborn size ok or did you need a bigger one??? i'm having my daughter on the first week of april and i got her size '1 month' (54 cm - newborn size here is 52cm) for like her first 1-2 weeks after she is born and my mother insists it's going to be too small. i think it's ok, its not 'newborn' it's for up '1 month'... what is your opinion????
My hospital makes you use the socks with the grips so I’m going to order myself some because I hate the ones they have. I’m so excited for you
Ashley Hodgins good idea! I’m adding to my Amazon list also!
33+2 weeks. I really need to get packing my bag more haha

38 weeks here and I go in to be induced next week and still haven’t gotten my bag put together 😂 There’s really no need to rush lol

Mine offers full size towels! So that’s the main reason I didn’t bother with wanting to bring one.
My hospital has these super thin tiny barely even towels lol just horrible
I'm 25 weeks and I'm starting to pack my hospital bag already 😂
Chloe Lock wow
@@alexisreyes4179 there's nothing wrong with being prepared, I could go into labour early and I wouldn't have anything ready
I want to but I will after my baby shower dec 7 lol

I HIGHLY suggest the Ryan and Rose pacifiers and clips! I love them!
Caylee Figliolo I keep hearing good things about those also!
Lol any thoughts on packing all dark undies and bras and then really light tops and bottoms 🤷🏼♀️😂 love your videos and how real you are it’s refreshing !
I don’t really think it matters! I just packed all of my comfiest stuff 🤷🏼♀️🤣

Your bags so cute

I think everywhere they give cloths that you have to wet I hated them too
Great video Lauren!
Love your sweater!!! Where is it from?
I wish you’d come back and post 😢😢
We are literally due at the same time 😊 ive half done mine need to sort it out properly 🙈
Will you be getting a double stroller? If so which one ?
Not planning to 🤗 we almost never used a stroller with Brody, so we won’t be doing a double
Would you mind linking everything for us?:)
I can't believe it's time for this video. Wow. Seems like you just got Pregnant :-)
Can you link the nursing bra? 💓 I have such a hard time finding one I like.
Peighton Bunch I would like that link also! So hard to find one that is comfortable but holds me up just a little
Love this! ❤️

What hospital did you give birth at? I also live in Florida
Adrianna Appleton probably Winnie
She gave birth at winnie palmer
Good information! I never considered delivering at 16 weeks vaginally a birth so this will be my third birth as well, wow!
See who packs light. Haha
that bag is huge, you could probably put the baby in it.
How you getting on
How tall are you?
You didn't link so much...
im sorry but why you going to bring your computer to the hospital. you not going to be using that when you pushing out a baby .
