Food for thought - Video Series Concept: The Chair - There needs to be a series about Ben's chair being cursed. Having to call in a priest or preacher to try and bless or exorcise the chair to get rid of the curse. Like a Annabelle / exorcist skit similar to the "white shirt saga" The intro could include clips from every low roll a person has made from Ben's chair. As well as how everyone jokingly says the chair is cursed with some dialogue like "but little did they know, it's power was growing" then including some clips about how people jokingly have said the curse is spreading from Ben's chair to the rest of the table. I believe this would be an excellent short series / parody for the dnd vldl vets who will know all the episodes referenced as well as an opportunity to touch on some comedic horror. That "Tetanus Tooth" attack reminded me of a weapon my DM has regretted giving my Fighter-Warlock. A hand crossbow bolt that my character experimentally fired into this weird, pulsing magical field of entropy. When he recovered it, he fashioned it into a dagger. On a hit, it deals 1d4+DEX, and the target has to make a CON save or it's infected with "entropy tetanus". The target immediately takes an additional 1d10 necrotic damage as it begins to rot from the inside out. Each subsequent round on my turn, it takes an additional d10. So 2d10, 3d10, stacking higher and higher each round unless it succeeds a CON save... which it never does, thanks to Hex. Muahaha.
That's a messed up item! As a DM, we have all been there; giving a player an item you regret very soon! Maybe as a gift to them, suggest your character loses it or it gets broken and downgraded to just a d10 at the start of each turn
@@RobertHartleyGM When he offered me the item, I even told him it seemed a little overpowered but he insisted that he wanted to give it to me for rewarding my creativity.
