If Susman ends up being the bad guy, that would be a huge disappointment. I think it would much funnier and entertaining if he turns out to be the good guy, especially after all the doubts the party has given him so far. Plus in my personal opinion playing table top RPGs and watching TTRPG videos, a villain being outwardly creepy and suspicious while constantly interacting with the party is not a good villain. I believe that a good villain that constantly talks to the party needs to appear helpful and friendly toward them, and then backstab them. It's way more impactful that way than them being outwardly creepy and suspicious while constantly encountering the party. I think that if a villain is going to be outwardly creepy and suspicious they need to be in the background planning, only interacting with the party on rare occasions just enough to let them know that he or she is there. So I want Susman to be a good guy and I get the vibe that he is. A smart villain would not constantly be creepy and suspicious every time they cross paths with the party.

On average, turtles can run at a speed of 3-4 miles per hour. However, turtles are generally faster in water than on land because of their foot design. Here are some other turtle speeds:
Soft-shelled turtles: Can move at a speed of 3 miles per hour
Snapping turtles: Run at an average speed of 2.4 miles per hour on land, but can swim at speeds of 10-12 miles per hour
Gopherus tortoises: Have been clocked at speeds of 0.13-0.30 miles per hour
Cooter tortoises: Have been recorded moving at a speed of 1.07 miles per hour on land
Bertie the tortoise: Achieved a speed of 0.92 feet per second on July 9, 2014, which is the fastest speed ever recorded for a tortoise
Which means Adams turtles should be moving a lot faster continuing that he has much longer legs than a average turtle so he actually should be moving at the same speed as a normal person yes it is funny that he's moving slow but it actually means that he's doing this on purpose because he should actually be able to be walking 3 to 4 times faster than this is also properly talking slow for the fun of it after all he's over 400 years old so he's probably doing this stuff to mess with people.

Different over different genres though.
True, I'm not disagreeing there. I just have my personal expectations. Whatever happens I'll have to wait and see
