Hey Mike! The video on Slingmods is off and doesn't match the parts correctly. I already spoke to them about it and they are working on a new one. I hope my video helps you out. Hey Bill, I just watched your youtube tutorial on this. It's weird, slingmods changed manufactures on this product. Your wiring is different than mine. Your vid matches slingmods, but mine is for the new wiring (comes with shorter wires off of the light strips). The original design was much better!

Hi Chulo! Which wires rubbing are you referring to? 🤔 I am usually much quicker at replying!!! Been crazy busy building my new website: www.RykerRydes.com check it out.
I have a really crazy question. Would there be any way to mount these fender lights and then plug them into the wiring for the pre-existing lights that are on the fender?
That makes me sad! How can making your motorcycle more visible (less accidents) be illegal? How are you doing with the fires? I hope you and your family are safe. So glad you got the much needed rain!!

Yes I do! I is my favorite add on! Super bright. They have been great in the rain! I have had to glue the wire in the wheel well so it didn't hang down.. That was the only "fix" I've had to do.
Hi really enjoy your channel. Please keep doing how to video. I live in Miami Florida. The riding around it is great if you are talking at the same time about future mod to your ryker. Very impress by you detailed explanation on the video. My question is have you had issue with the wheel coming off like a few people have had??
Hey Felix! Not sure what you mean by the wheel coming off?? Thanks sounds terrifying! I have never had any problems. I did take my bike in for a wheel nut recall, is that what you are referring too?
The lights are a simple plug and play design. It does not have an on/off switch. I suppose if you where mechanical you could add a toggle switch. Ps sorry for my delayed response, I am still on my bike trip.
Great video !! I also saw the video on the back rest. The back rest looks great ! How well does it work ?? The price is very high i figured $100.00 but they are $200.00 on Amazon. Cheryl M. Ca.
Hi Cheryl!! Thanks so much for watching!! The backrest is my absolute, cannot ride without, add on. Whenever I used to ride, I got lower back fatigue. Now it’s perfect! If you buy it from Amazon, you can always return it if you don’t love it!
Do you find them to be blinding at night? Particularly the red facing the driver. I really like these, but don't want to be preoccupied with the red if it's so bright it is annoying at night. Also, do you ever wear shoes? lol
First off, NO, I never wear shoes (or at least I try not to) unless I am on my bike! Ok, as far as the fender lights, yup they are crazy bright, but I don't really mind. Being seen is so important on these bikes. You can always buy those yellow nighttime glasses it they bother you at first?
@@RykerRydes Sounds good. I'm debating between stuff like this, or just getting a set of underflow type lights that would be whatever color while riding and turn red when the brake is applied. But love your videos...now if only I could win the lottery to do all these things!
To the lady of Ryker Rides, I've watched you try to fish a wire harness thru a tight fitting area too small for hands. Well what I do is get a 10in piece of coat hanger and some electrical tape that I purchased at Harbor Freight store (10 roll package for a few bucks) wrap the tape tightly around the 2 wires and, walla whadda ya no,, it's easier on the fingers?
Hello! Thank you for the videos! I just received my 2019 Ryker Rally yesterday and have learned so much about it with your videos. I feel more confident approaching modifications on it with your help :) I'd like to do this mod, but I'm curious to know if these lights also work with the turn signal?
Welcome to the family!!! Congratulations 🎊 No, sadly, these lights do not work with the turn signals. But I believe that Slingmods does sell replacement reflectors that blink with when using your signals.
Yes they are on anytime your bike is on. It does not come with the ability to turn them off. I do wish they worked with the blinkers but have not found a way to do that!
Another awesome video! You are one of people that made me decide to get a Ryker. I’ve had my Rally now for about a week and a half and I love it! Keep up the great work. P.S. where did you get the Can Am fender stickers from?
SlingMod did the same thing to me. They sent me something different than what the install video showed. Only in my case, it did not work. Because I waited a few months to install it, they said they would not replace it.
Jack,, Thank you so much for watching! I’m sorry you had issues. If you call Slingmods now, just asked for an extension wire, a 12 inch one would work perfectly! Slingmods definitely needs to redo their video! I hope my video helps people get a clearer idea of how to install it.
@@RykerRydes Thanks for the advice. My LED's from Slingmod/TricLED was not for the Ryker fenders. It was another kit for the 'Knight Rider' strobe. They showed the install with LEDs on a flexible strip, like your install, but they sent me the ones on a PCB. When I bent it around the nose (as they showed), the PCB broke. They refused to send me the correct one because I waited too long to install it ("Out of Warranty"). Just a heads up with dealing with the two companies. Ryde Safe. -Jack
@@-jackinspokane6648 Wow, that is disappointing to hear. Slingmods was so great with sending me out an extra piece. They even threw in a nice t shirt. I tend to buy a lot from Amazon, their returns are so easy.
i was contemplating getting the LED light set you purchased vs the the reflectors. This is a @Ryker Rydes much better cost effective purchase. Are you also stating there are additional parts you needed (wire wise) that Should have been included or that you need to buy?
I was not short on wires. The current Slingmod’s video has slightly different wiring vs what they sent out. I got nervous and had them mail me an extra 12” piece (free) but never ended up needing it. Ps thanks for watching!!
Hello, based on your experience with these motorcycles, can you help me with this question, a new agency Ryker motorcycle when it has its first oil change, for your attention to my question, thank you.
Hi! Thanks for watching! Slingmods sells an expansion kit that would work. www.slingmods.com/canam-ryker-front-fender-led-running-light-strips-tricfenderz?vehicle=4
Hi Trey! I can only speak from my experience, and my Ryker has NEVER been in the shop! There was a wheel nut recall but that took 5 minutes. I am in a Ryker riding group and no one has ever mentioned any problems. If you buy new, it is under warranty, so no stress!
i have had mine since July/2019 and have not had it in the shop for any mechanical issues. They could be saying that because Can-Am wants you to do the first maintenance after 500 miles. And they could be in the shop because the owners don't do there on modifications. lol
Thank you for sharing the videos that you do. You and Bill both are awesome for helping people in the Ryker world. Two questions... One, do you find the lights bothersome riding at night or being more of a hindrance trying to see? Question 2, I noticed your Can-Am logos on your air intake and on your front fenders... Are they reflective and where did you get them?
Hi Dave! Thanks for your comment and for watching. Funny Bill and I have become friends through this. He is a great guy and has really helped me out a lot. As for your questions: #1 Not the lights are not a hinderance. At first they seemed way too bright and wanted to find a dimmer switch, but now, I can't imagine the bike with out it. I am all about making sure distracted drivers see me! #2 The replacement logos on the air intakes are aftermarket, iridescent, stickers. Not reflective. The ones on top of the fenders are the original logo stickers that came on the air intakes. I just relocated them. If you check out ETSY, there are tons of people that will make custom REFLECTIVE stickers for you. I am getting one made that says Ryker Rydes with the youtube logo. Have an awesome day!

@@RykerRydes yes the recall
The recall was a 15 minute stop to the dealership. Easy!
Hello, in which store did you buy those LED strips? Thank you. :-)
The website link is in the video (watching the video is how YT views my success).
@@RykerRydes I then realized that and I was already looking at their shop....slingmods.com :-)
Does is have a ballast or does it share a factory ballast? Or can this be light with just a 12 volt battery? And a on and off switch?
Thanks for video, however I would not throw on the floor the LEDs, it would damage the LEDs.
Good tip. Thanks for watching.
GREAT TIP! Thanks Robert!
Where'd you get your stripes
Tint World
@@RykerRydes thanks
Hello! Thank you for the videos! I just received my 2019 Ryker Rally yesterday and have learned so much about it with your videos. I feel more confident approaching modifications on it with your help :)
I'd like to do this mod, but I'm curious to know if these lights also work with the turn signal?
Welcome to the family!!! Congratulations 🎊
No, sadly, these lights do not work with the turn signals. But I believe that Slingmods does sell replacement reflectors that blink with when using your signals.
Great job !
Thank you!!!!
Where you get the can-am sticker on the wheel fenders
I just relocated the original ones from the sides
What do you mean by relocated you still have the original on the air intake
The ones on the air intake I bought from someone selling them on FB. I can’t remember who. Sorry. Etsy has cool customizable stickers.
Do the lights stay on anytime you start your bike up or can you turn it off and on?
Yes they are on anytime your bike is on. It does not come with the ability to turn them off. I do wish they worked with the blinkers but have not found a way to do that!
I looked on the web site and can't find it can u help
Happy to help:

Im curious why you cant just connect the LEDs at the fender lights and not run all that long wire?
Good question, that might work. It did seem like I had excess of that long wire.
Another awesome video! You are one of people that made me decide to get a Ryker. I’ve had my Rally now for about a week and a half and I love it!
Keep up the great work.
P.S. where did you get the Can Am fender stickers from?
Thank you so much!!! Welcome to the family!! Contact Mark Zim on FB. He does great decals Tell him I sent you. 😀
@Ryker Rydes do you hook yours up to a battery tender often?
No, never. I live in Florida so I ride it year round. Just not as much in the hot summers!
@@RykerRydes good to know I live in Cali but it has been 42 degrees!! I have a nice suit to wear so I still ride as often as i can :-)
@@giovannam925 California must have some beautiful rides! Florida is so flat, it gets boring.
i was contemplating getting the LED light set you purchased vs the the reflectors.
@@RykerRydes gotcha. And thanks for making these
Hello, based on your experience with these motorcycles, can you help me with this question, a new agency Ryker motorcycle when it has its first oil change, for your attention to my question, thank you.
Hi there! This video I did will help you: How and When to Change Your Can Am Ryker's Oil (6 easy steps)
ua-cam.com/video/bOg6frl9XSs/v-deo.html
Well what If I already have something plugged up to that plug i have the handguard led lights
Hi! Thanks for watching! Slingmods sells an expansion kit that would work.

You very good nice job
Thank you very much Ken
I wanna do this to mine, but with my poor glare recovery and eyes being hurt by super bright light I worry this will be too much
Instead of the fender lights I would prefer better headlights or to install led fog lights.
Yup....I’ve got videos on those too! 😃
So Beth, since you have girly fingers and I don't, can I bring my Ryker to you so you can help me install the lights? :-)
Come on over! Anytime 24/7 😏
By the way. They do look amazing can’t wait to get mine installed.
I spoke with a local motorcycle shop and was told that the Can-Am products are always in the shop. Is that true?
Much nicer to watch a video with a woman doing the work pretty hair glasses on the head finger nails painted toenails very relaxing to watch someone else work especially a woman✨🤓✌🏻&❣️✨
It’s true, it is relaxing to watch someone else work! Lol. I do find it relaxing to work on my bike!!
Excellent tutorial .
#granrappa
Thank you! Cheers!
Don’t those hurt your eyes when riding at night? I feel like you would have a lot of light pollution while riding at night. Maybe even glare on your helmet face shield. 🤷🏼♂️
Yes, at first it took a bit to get used to. But being bright is what I wanted. I want to be seen!!
I think you'll feel a bit safer knowing
your more visible at night. Thanks again for You.
Thanks Tom! Yes, it is so bright, even during the day. No car driver can use the excuse they didn't see me!! I appreciate you watching!!!
🤟❤️🌍🙂👍👍👋👋🇨🇵
600 dollar led and they even provide zip ties I really like there stuff but way over priced no everyone has fat bank accounts
I totally hear you, but these lights were $120 not $600
I am just like you with the barefeet!
LOL!!!
