Paul, Susan. Thanks for sharing more upland cover, dog work and Grouse and Woodcock hunting in the north woods. I enjoy them no matter where I am in the world. First view of this one is from Dakar, Senegal after enjoying African safari through a camera! Watching this gets me excited to hit the coverts this week when I’m home. I also love how you include “learning opportunities” for hunters and dog owners in your videos. We all learn from them. Blaze’s frustration with treed birds, although not ideal (barking in the woods) is endearing in a way. Thanks again. Would be nice to “see you afield” some time.
Awesome footage and hunt 👍👍 Folks please go up on your volume thanks!! When you two are Speaking to the Camera in side!! Keep it the Great footage and videos !! The Vermonter

Why are they putting the dog at a disadvantage by using a bell?
Not a disadvantage at all. Traditional and classic indicator of location and activity.
Always use a bell in ruffed grouse country.
I don't use a bell either. Can't stand hearing that clunky thing make noise nonstop. My beeper collar works just fine.
the bell tells the story of what's happening :)
