What is YOUR favorite grip?? 🤘
🤔A RIDE... SOON? 🖒😇
WOMAN LIKE THE WAY YOU "RIDE".
🖒😊
@@lisaandthekozykittykamperv7952 S&M BMX huuger grips
@AirTimeCounts
OK, OK.... ALL THE BLACK ONES AND ALL THE RED ONES... MY 2 FAVORITE COLORS FOR GRIPS. IF MIKE IS PROMOTING GRIPS OR ANYTHING, IT MUST BE GOOD. 🖒😇
I’ll like those elites 👌 I need to try them on my enduro bike. I have the super soft deathgrips which I love, and the similar deity and specialized variants. All single-locking grips, I don’t like bruising my hands on an outside collar
Deathgrips
Ergon GA2 here. Absolutely love them for great grip and comfort.
Never used Ergons before. Just ordered the GE1 Factory grips, I'm interested to see how they are.
@@benbish1576 I’m looking at those too, how are they?
Sorry can't buy it the name is too close to g2a
Sorry can't buy it the name is too close to g2a
For me they caused a lot of hand fatigue.. need to try new ones. The fat ones were to big and the small ones way too small :/ grip is good tho
DMR Deathgrips, they come in different diameters, different compounds as well.
Dmr Deathgrip 🤙🏽
Don't get the appeal.
@Bob Longhorn still don't get the appeal. PNW loam is a nicer feeling grip.
hate em, one of the worst pair of grips I've had
@@TrevorOFarrell Did you try the slim or thick?
I'll never use anything else again, love my Deathgrips so much I've got 3 pairs of spares laying around in case I trash them.
I feel in love with the RevGrips Pro series when someone at Bailey Mountain Bike Park last year introduced me to them. I can say it was one of the best upgrades I've did on my Evil. I even brought another pair for my other bike.
So expensive but I’d love to give some a go
I just swapped my last grips for Ergon GE1 factory ones. For people like me, who like to grab the grips right at their outer edge, they are awesome! :D
There are giant MTB channels but this is By far the best channel for me 👌🏻
Wooo! Thanks a ton!!
I don't know why but I always go back to my tried and true disisdaboss Sensus grips. Those Chromags look great though, so I may have to give them a try and mix things up a bit. Plus the cool golf ball texture looks really simple yet unique.
readysetnogo sensus is the best. i run the swayzes on all of my bikes
@@memphismcfall5543 Yeah they make great stuff. I've never used something from Sensus and not liked it. Great people behind the brand too. Cam Zink is the coolest dude and is very down to earth if you ever get the chance to talk with him.
I run the Chromag Basis, I've really liked them. Plus I'm a fan of the dark red/burgundy colour.
Ergond gd1 factory slin grips are my all time favourite, I am not a fan of thick grips even though my palm size is in between a L and XL, I prefer a thiner grip and that's why I use the gd1 not the enduro grips. The tapered angle on the grip stops the part of my palm below my ring and punky finger from hurting after multy day rides especially bike parks. Plus when I'm cornering, doing a bar turn, tabletop, scrub, etc. I like to plant my hand again the flange so I can keep a my handlebars in control while still keeping my hands loose
OURY for life here. Great video!
I use the loam and love them. Thats on both my bikes. But Number 2 renthal Kevlar grips! They soak up shock better then the tacky ones. But wear out faster then most grips!
Just got the PNW loam grips and can't be happier.
Will never sway away from rev grips!
Agreed on the ODI Elite Pro - they jut have a nice feel especially with thin gloves. Next up for us are the Tag Metals T1 Braap.
3:26 thought that was MrBeast then
How does that look like mr beast
Yeah I was thinking that as well
Why is Russ not blinking?
What had he took?
LOTS of Maxima SC1 and Suspension Clean 😂
I have ergon ga3 grips and they work good and love it!!
Would you suggest staying away from locking grips on a carbon bar?
Burgtec bartender pro
Racing red finished off my bike build 👌🏻
I have bmx style answer lock on mtb grips. Awesome grips.
Bout to order some pnw loams in penut butter, felt some odis on my buddies YT and i like them but im going to try the pnws first
Chromag palmskins are just great without gloves. Love those
I found all the textures and partial flange going on in the ODI Elite Pros very distracting. Also my hands kinda swelled up after using them on two rides. Sent them back and got the ODI Elite Motion which are a lot more simplistic with just a simple knurling texture.
Edit: What was I talking about in this comment? I got used to the Elite Pros and am now in love with them, 6 months later!
Deity supracush for when I want lock-ons, and esi chunky/super chunky for everything else. The larger grip size works so much better for my hands.
Perfect timing, I just super dialed my brake levers.... world of difference with my long steel levers BTW.
Just thinking I should try some different grips also.
I feel sorry for the people who can’t buy dmr deathgrips in their country
They're not that great.
Braŭljo Thats your opinion...
@@themagicillusions Obviously, as is your original comment your opinion. But I'm trying to assure the people to which you referred, to not necessarily believe your condescending and ludicrous comment.
@tom lewis I encourage you to try them out, but they're not my personal favorite grip.
Braŭljo condescending and ludicrous? By looking at the likes more people agree with me than you...
Pilgrips🙌
They always sold out :(
Great video, where did you get the devinci cap?
I'm ZTTO, very comfort
Renthal here, good stuff!
Esi Grips Extra Chunky, without any doubt.
I love brendon fairclougth’s race death grips thin
I just bought death grips! Hope I like em
Ergon for enduro, ESI (extra)chunky for XC
I am currently running Race Face Half Nelson but I'm not sold on them. They are grippy though, just quite thin.
What about the bontrager’s Xr trail comp. The ones that come in the xcaliber?
Super good review guys! thanks! Honestly, so many cool designs to choose from these dayz I almost feel like buying a few sets and swapping out now and then lol. So I like the ODI Elite and PNW's but the oneup's look super interesting also. I'm also curious to try the 33mm raceface grips... they're weren't in this review so has anyone tried them? I imagine the larger diam would = less fatigue.
What about ergon?! The grips I have are gr1 slim ( thin version of the downhill grips) my favourite grips ever, and yes I did try DMR death grips, they are both really good and have a feature I really like, perfect size side flanges, I use them to lean in corners. But ergon have that unique cone shaped grips that fit my hands perfectly. I
I’m trying to match the orange that’s on my bike to an orange pair of grips. I have a 2013 Fuji Nevada 1.5. The bike is the black and orange one. Any ideas on what would match the closest?
Hard to say exactly, but judging by pictures of the bike I might suggest the OneUp Components Lock-On. It is slightly duller than the Orange of the PNW Loam Grips. Hope that helps!
@@TheLostCo helps a lot! I may give it a try. Thank you for the reply!
Just buy Ergon grips and be done with it. They never disappoint. I like the GA2 fat grips since I have huge paws, they're awesome.
I have hands pain maybe the last ones you check are good option, but why you say that specially for rider who have hand pain are good. Do you have hand pain do you recommend that ones? Thanks
those elite pros take the win for me too best grips for sending it downhill
Rev grips!!🤘
Just no
I use generic silicone grips worth 99php. Of course i hate em, as it gets quite slippery on wet rides and when your palms sweat alot. I just use gloves to have a nice grip.
They also last long, they dont wear as much as rubber ones given that you dont crash your bike and rip your grips off the handle bars.
🤙🏼ride safe everyone.
my favorite grip is the destiny dream grip
ESI Chunky With ODI end caps, the ESI end caps don't last. The ESI grips are the lightest grips made, come in different sizes/colors, aren't lock on, but they never move they don't need to be lock on. Most comfortable/lightest race grips out there. The ODI end caps help the ESI grips last much longer.
Revgrips are the best hands down!!
I'm with ya, Mike. The ODI Elite Pros are the best I've tried so far. I'm hesitant to try anything else at this point save for maybe a Renthal?
Love those things! The Renthal's are cool too. They're RIDICULOUSLY TACKY.
-Mike
ODI Ruffian all day, more of a minimalist type grip. I used to run ODI Rogue's on my old bikes, but I found them a bit too thick for liking.
Ergon GA 2 for sure - much better than ODI or Brendog's signature ones
Ergon GE1 evo for the win
DMR work great for me, but way too soft for my son. He burned through them in less than a month. I am going to try Ergon and PNW next.
Ergon ditched purple so i’ll be looking into others.
DMR deathgrip and Deity Knuckleduster
Deity Knuckledusters
great video!
Old School Oury fan
What about Race face Chester grip lock ?
Renthal and ODI only go on my dh bike, curious!
I'm riding ODI Elite Motion, got it with the bike, seems fine, IDK.
Where's my people that run the the PNW loam grips?
Is there a weight limit?
Nope! All of these grips are going to be great for riders of every height and size!
U missed blake Samsons cheese grips lol
Am I the only one that thinks the first guy sounds like neil goldman from family guy? XD Thanks for the grip tips neil
Renthal Push ons, glued and wired
I like my Specialized Enduro Locking XL...
OURY are by far the most comfortable grips I've tried
Call me old but glue on Renthal are best and lock wire. Its the same in motocross bloody lockon grips, arm pump but glue on and better feel off what the front wheel is doing.
Its also cooler to put them on and wire them. Its not as complicated as people think.
Any ones that slide around
Personally don’t like the death grips. The odi elite pros fit absolutely great for me. All personal performance
Next upgrade: pedals and ODI grips.
Renthal dual compound Kevlar.
Your head mechanic scares me
Doesn’t he?!?
The loam grips are awesome but when you have sweaty palms they suck
Does anyone run DMR death grips? What do the PNW loam grips feel like compared to the death grips?
Deity knuckle dusters
Deity waypoint. Simple but grippy.
Box one grip
ESI
ODI FTW
Odi Ruffian ftw.....
Pilgrips, everything else is totally unrideable!
Arent they just like death grips?
@@CaedmonKovacs nah deathgrips are way nicer in my opinion (better compound and the pilgrims have that mushroom pattern on the whole top). Pretty much most of the people that ride pilgrips just want to buy them since Sam pilgrim designed them
Deity
2:53 How do narrower grips reduce arm pump?
I don't know... But I have very narrow diameter and hard compound grips(fabric 50to01) and I never suffered armpup BUT instead i have cevear hand pain when riding downhill
Do you still live in the van?
What, no Pilgrips?
To the sky!
Ergon GA2 Fat, big hands big grips!
Don't like the odi grips, I get really bad calluses, anything with a waffle or little lumps. Anything soft and smooth for me, ergonomic and pnw
Ergon ga2 mine hehe
The bike is solid and my Ebike conversion went great. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Very smooth ride at 30mph with no problems (135 miles ridden so far). The picture is a bit deceiving - there is WAY less space in the center of the frame than it shows. The suspension connection takes up the entire thing. So I needed to attach my battery on the bottom of the frame and my controller on the top. Instructions for assembly were lacking but honestly it wasn't too hard to figure out even though I have very little bike knowledge. Watched some youtube videos on adjusting the disk brakes but that was it. Still, I am loving it and very happy with the purchase.
Biggg fannnn
brendog deathgrips
Best grips for 2020 lol
wtf no DMR Deathgrips
burgtec minaars are the best no cap
ESI. Light, gripping, damping.
Russ looks just like Jaws from James Bond
Sqlab 70X!!!!!
Burgtec Bartender
