My 07 1250 had FI. Honestly took it for granted. Still started up instantly with over 50k miles (80k~ km) and had insane amounts of torque. Smooth as silk.
@@Blank_Immortal Heard that the 1250 was lovely but that the 1200 had more mid range Torque, and that's Bandit Time Acceleration.. No bike Kawasaki for 27 years, got 20, 21 months of Blessed Bandit Time Times, at least 60 times more biking joy than in 84, my nearly new Kawasaki 750 turbo, that I Couriered on, and thrashed it daily Countless times, it was SUPERB, just not Bandit Time Acceleration.

It was the first bike I had ever owned, and I had never been in a fast car before so in the first couple of weeks owning it I thought "Hey well I should just rip this throttle and see what its like... right" I literally felt like everything when into ludicrous speed and I felt my butt fly to the absolute rear of the seat in record time. I am surprised I still had my pants on when I was done with it. Bandit time acceleration is the only words I can say now...

Perfect Storm of Acceleration?, Felt like an industrial catapult fired it off, totally upright PROPELLED forward, arms limp body slouched, ALL ALL at the back wheel. In '84 my turbo was the first Production vehicle any size, to do the Standing Quarter mile in 10 seconds, it was Lovely, Compaired to Bandit Time? the turbo? More like a Honda 400 Superdream, CX500 at best. Bandit Times? just under 2 hrs riding? Completed my PhD Masters Degree in Bandit Torque Enjoyment only, nothing technical. Sadly now a HOPEFULLY only, semi retired Crazy Mad Banditateer, FEKKIN BANDITLESS Banditaholic, ruined for any other bike and I ain't even lying. Banditaholic meetings, they say talk of Blessed Bandit Time Times, as often as possible to try and ease the Almost Constant Ache, of no longer having Blessed Bandit Time at fingertips, only wore gloves when icy cold.
