Ha! Yes you caught me. I have a convection upper oven and a regular lower oven. I usually don't like to use the convection for baking, but I was in a rush! It cooks everything so quickly! I find it tricky with baking and the conversion, but for meats, it's a girl's best friend! Juiciest chickens, turkeys. roasts ever! Set it for 325 Roast and it does all the work for you! Seriously awesome!
Aw, aren't you sweet! You are doing all the right things, sharing, liking, subscribing and of course watching our videos, are the best things you can do! Thanks for all the support, it always means so much to us over here :) xx B
Honestly, you can find really great menus all over the internet, but The Game Plan is what sets your menus apart for me. Nobody tells you how/when to prep and serve and you're left the day of with not enough ovens or time to figure it out before the food gets cold. Thank you SO much for that!
Welcome to UA-cam Kathy! Yes of course all the ingredients and full instructions are typically listed in a video's description. To see that just click SHOW MORE under the player. On my Kin and EWB videos you'll either find the full recipe there, OR a link to our Tumblr page with the full recipes there. I hope that helps and feel free to reach back out if you can't find it. :) Beth
I LOVE this menu, thank you! I live in a fun mid century neighborhood in Palm Springs. 7 households on our street get together monthly for a pot luck, and we all bought, or dusted off our Fondue sets for a themed pot luck, It hasn't happened yet. I'm posting this vid of your's on Facebook for all my neighbors to see. We might do a Fondue Crawl much like our New Year's Eve crawl we do annually. Thanks for the tip about adding flour to the cheese mixture, I had my test run sauce separate.
Very interesting! I tried the broccoli and shrimps stir fry...it was simply amazing...loved the simplicity and delicious..my little boy who does not like veggies...ate it all..all I did was to serve it with some jasmine rice. Thanks so much.
OK OK I am making this whole dinner party for my friends tommorow night and I am sooo excited!! Thank you Beth for sharing you're food. Hopefully it'll go well !!
Beth, I literally had a grin from ear to ear for a whole minute into the video ... you guys make me so so happy, and your long menu videos just make my Saturdays! Is there any way in which us viewers can help a bit more substantially with KinCommunity, other than sharing your videos, liking, subscribing, etc.? I believe in you guys so much! =)
Oh Beth and Kin Community, you've done it again! A beautifully well done video with wonderful ideas that makes me want to immediately clean my kitchen and entertain some guests! Fondueliscious!
I don't cook, and I doubt i can find half of the things in my market, but I still watched the entire video. I found it very interesting and full of information, plus the food looks so good and yummy it made me hungry. Great video!
I am so excited to try this out. I have always wanted to host a party like this, but had no idea where to start. Thank you so much Beth. As always I love your videos. Thank you so much for all of the non alcohol options you are putting in your videos. My husband and I appreciate them!!
Loved this video, Beth and KIN team! I'm blown away by all the hard work that goes into the making of these videos. You guys have thought of everything! Bravo! x
Ha! Oh yes Trader Joe's is a beloved brand here in the states. It's actually a Grocery Store that also makes their own line of products. The reason we all love it is that they are really inexpensive! Probably the reason lots of YTbers use them, they have a great selection of basic and gourmet products, and most of their items are also pretty healthy too! They are seriously just the best! If you ever come to the US, you must visit one :)
I can't believe it! Some friends boight me a fondue pot and I was supposed to invite them for a fondue party, but I had no idea how to do it! Great great timing!!!! Thank you for all the tips!!!
Well worth the wait Beth! Everything looks wonderful as usual. Just as I begin to stress about the preparation you saved the day with your game plan! Love how you give us all hope that we too can do this!
The pound cake recipe in the menu is really nice and simple. The first time I make it was to have it without fondue, and I can't stop eating it. I wonder how long can it be kept in the fridge and if there're any ways to warm it up again nicely. Other recipes from both this channel and Beth's are also fancy. I've tried her shrip stir fried too and it was delicious.
Once again Beth you have hit the spot I was chatting with my sister about getting together and having a fondue shen-dig nom nom thanks again for your delish and wonderful ideas we're soo looking forward for your next installment...:)
Sure. You could use Amaretto for a nice Almond Taste, Frangelico for Hazelnut, or Grand Marnier for an orange flavor. All would be great! Add to the melted chocolate while in the sauce pan, but first TURN OFF THE FLAME (to avoid the fumes from igniting), then add the liquor, mix and then pour into the Fondue pot. Enjoy!
I love this! When you were putting the cake in the oven, was it a convection oven?? I noticed the fan in the back was running and was wondering if your temps were done for convection! I just got one in my new house and I am loving it, but hate having to do all the conversions!
Loved this video! One question tho, once ur guests are done with the cheese fondue, you would have to wash the fondue pot and what would you do with the cheese? And while your washing, what would you serve your guests?
this fondue party looks so much fun! I didnt hear of it before but you made me try it out with my friends!!! You are so lovely Beth and very charming! Do you have any trick of making a low fat homemade mayo? Thanks
Sure you could use red wine vinegar or champagne vinegar or white wine vinegar would all be good choices too! Or you could totally omit it and just use a bit more mustard :)
Hi Beth, thanks very much for sharing these ideas for parties! I was searching for fondue party ideas and came across yours! I love the way you explain every step of the way and all the options given, for beginners like me it’s a great help! Keep doing these party , dinner , lunch full menus please! So now first, I’m gonna buy a fondue pot!!! :D P. S I’m one of your best fan’s!! :)
OMG Beth!! I really loved watching this video. I'm looking forward to host a Fondue Party myself with this recipes and tips. BTW, looking forward to your Easter Brunch menu. I have a pot-luck on Eastern day and need a new recipe to bring to the party. Did I mention...I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!
Hi, I noticed you use a convection oven for the pound cake. I love my convection oven, but can never get poultry, especially turkey to cook thoroughly. Any convection oven menus coming up?
Aw yes the challenges of convection cooking. It can be tricky. I actually really prefer it for meats. The secret is to use the "convection roast setting" which is 325 degrees. And roast the meat. makes it so tender and juicy! I haven't done recipes calling for convection because I'd be afraid a lot of people wouldn't have one. Funny you noticed it in the vid. I did that b/c it's quicker and I had a crew waiting for it! LOL! :)
This was an absolutely amazing idea! I love all of the menus you present to us:) Keep making more of these:) Perhaps the next idea could be a menu for a birthday party for adults? Thanks so much!
Hey Beth! This is an awesome idea! In this video you used some aluminium foil to cover up the foods ..can i use a cling wrap instead? just wondering.. I always love chocolate fondue thingy. XD
Well, I wouldn't recommend this. Only because on the jar of Nutella is says not to warm it. Mostly because it will separate due to all the oil in it. BUT, what you could do is use Milk Chocolate for your fondue (instead of bittersweet) leave out the Vanilla extract, and instead use Hazelnut extract. It's usually right next to the vanilla extract in your supermarket. And you will have the same taste, but with a more stable fondue. Enjoy!
Lovely menu and fondue idea! I'm going to try it. But I think rather than babysitting my guests at the table, I'd lay out the cut food items, having guests serve themselves from a buffet as if to serve an appropriate dinner portion of each item, proceed to sit at the table, cutting your potato etc. and ready the portions for dipping. I'm even leaning toward having a small bowl for serving the fondue out onto for each his own personal dipping portion. It may take away from the fondue pot folklore, but I think it would still feel more comfortable than having to take turns to dip in the main pot. Either way, I love this menu, including the dessert one!!
Beth I saw a all-clad fondue set at marshalls for $99 is that a good price? I know all-clad make really nice items but do you still think that's too pricey? I have a small fondue set I got from pier 1 but was looking for something that would serve more people.
How does someone know what is "high quality butter"? Is it by the brand? Or are there certain ingredients that would only be found/not be found inin high quality butter? Also, would you add peanut butter to the chocolate fondue? Or is that a risk with guests since so many people are allergic to nuts?
Hi, I'm new to youtube. I just created an account. I am not sure if there is an area where i can access a list of the ingredients and the instruction????

Oh! They're back! I love your long menu videos. Thank you so much. You're the best, Beth.
Oh yes, great idea! Will definitely tackle this as the summer approaches and BBQs and potlucks are in full swing!
Sure you can keep it in the fridge for 3-4 days and just warm it up in the microwave or toaster. It also freezes very well too!
I tried the chocolate fondue and it was delicious thanks so much! Love you Beth!!!!!
Fabulous video!

Beth's using coffee just to enhance the flavor of the fondue, but you could certainly make it without coffee and it will still be delicious!
Inspired! Yet again :) My spring break is coming up and so this will be a perfect thing to do with some friends. Thanks!
So so so so happy these videos are back! Thank you for another great round recipes!!
Loved that you included the piece on etiquette! Great, simple and easy to follow video.

by far your best party menu! love the fondue tips at the end!!
Loved this video! One question tho, once ur guests are done with the cheese fondue, you would have to wash the fondue pot and what would you do with the cheese? And while your washing, what would you serve your guests?
Would you have any how-to suggestions about adding chocolate fondue and dippers to a buffet line? Thanks.
Aw you are too kind :) So glad you like the videos! :)

Very helpful video. Thank you!
I've been waiting for these videos!!!
What other cheeses can you use? My family won't eat gruyere or swiss.
You can use Appenzeller, Beaufort, or Comté cheese as substitutes.
One of my FAVES!!!!
