Im going to be 12 soon and my birthday theme is a night in paris so these really help me because I wanna make these with my mum, I CANT WAIT!!!!!! ❤💜❤💜
I've cooked for a lot of parties... I love your ideas! The recipes, the prep, the game plan, even the post-it notes... My wife & I are hosting a Paris party this Memorial Day. This video will inspire me to execute the perfect party! Thank you so much.
Your channel is amazing! Since I discover it I became your biggest fan. Every evening I am watching some new recipes. I've already done a few. Greetings from Romania!
Fantastic idea!. We have new neighbors here in Palm Springs from CT. But the wife is from France. Our entire street is known for potlucks, and smaller dinner parties with each other. This menu is perfect for a 4- 6 guest dinner party. I love learning the traditions from you that I don't always get from recipes.
I absolutely love these full meal videos. I'm a young professional female and I'm trying to make more time to sharpen my "home-making" skills....between my career and grad school, learning to cook keep getting pushed down my list! I can spend hours watching these videos and soaking in all the cool recipe ideas. Please keep them coming!! :-)
I love that your videos have a game plan. So often just before a party it's 'chicken with it's head cut off' time in the kitchen. Your game plan helps me keep cool and ready for the next step.
Also, I love all of the "prep the day before" stuff. I do that often when I feed a crowd. But sometimes that can take up a lot of room in my fridge! I would love to see a tutorial or video on how you organize your fridge and make room for early prepped foods!
Beth I consider you my ideal in the kitchen. I swear I am so impressed and amazed how nice you explain things. I admire your way in cooking. You are the best. I hate chef's usually I feel they are very complicated but you are FANTASTIC you simplify things. I live in Dubai and everyday I am trying something from your receipes. Keep up the good videos and waiting for more.
you are an amazing woman..so refreshing to watch you and you speak so well.Of course I love your videos in every detail..So glad I found you..I regret not searching before for you
Hi Beth, it's Jay again! Now I want to thank you again, because your Hachis Parmentier was a great main course for my Menu last saturday. I made a 'southern europe menu' with my friends of the university. The first course was Sagagnaki (greek cheese breaded with flour and then fried), the main course was your hachi parmantier and the desert was tiramisu. And to drink we had some whine out of spain. So thank you for inspiring me to try to make a menu my own! Greetings from germany, Jay!
Aren't those the best! Love those things! And they way they disappear at parties, always cracks me up! So glad they were a hit! Happy New Year to you too!
Я просто в восторге от этих видео! Хочу чтобы вы знали, их смотрят и в России❤️ подписана на автора более 8 лет и с удовольствием смотрю снова и снова! Потрясающее произношение, просто и понятно, спасибо❤️
It was great, thanks to you! My husband and I were searching in your channel again if you had recipes for new year. but we did not find any. so we randomly picked some other recipes in your different videos for our new year's eve dinner. for sure it will be delicious again. thanks
I made the grougeres & chocolate mousse for a dinner party last night and they were such a hit! Kept it relatively French-themed with rosemary lamb chops and au gratin as a side. Thanks for the ideas 😄😘
Thank you for responding! :) We used real butter and gruyere cheese. We didn't grease the parchment paper. We are going to try them again tomorrow, maybe use a little more flour.I'll let you know how they come out. Thank you again!
yup. for busy mothers like me, slow cooker is our best friend. please please let me know if you will do a video of that. thanks in advance. we got our recipes last thanksgiving in your videos. and it turned out so good.
Dear Beth, I wonder if I don't have a heavy duty mixer like yours, can I just use a regular mixer for making your amazing recipes? Thank you so much for sharing with us! These are just wow!
I'm sixteen and absolutely love acting. But for some reason, a baker in me just sort of sparked all of the sudden! Maybe cuz my whole mom's side of the family cooked, but your recipes are literally the best and I can't wait to try them out!
Hey Beth ... I just wanted to say, that this menu was so WONDERFUL ... the last friday, everybody enjoyed it ... and I didn't even had a problem with the time, because my mother even gave me a wonderful tip ... "Normally when people come together, they'll start a conversation automatically, even if they don't know each other, or even especially then! And if this doesn't happen, just try to start a conversation and wait for the right time to excuse yourself!" Now, I know that next time ... greets
Dear Beth, I recently discovered you!!! I'm so glad I did. I love watching your videos, the presentation, the game plan etc. Your instructions are so easy and methodical and you seem like such nice person :) Could you kindly do more videos on dinner parties for a girl's night in, a date night, or a sit down dinner for 8-10. I would love it and I'm sure your viewers would too ! Thank you.
I am French and have been making chocolate mousse for years with my mother. I never heard of using pasteurized eggs. I don't see why eating raw eggs is a problem! We must have made this mousse a hundred times and nobody ever got sick or anything from it!
Hi Beth I make gougeres all the time - everyone always loves them. They really do oooh and ahhh. I am surprised at how many people have never heard of them or tasted them. To your viewers - try making these - they are easy and fantastic. The casserole is interesting - minus the herbs de provence - sorry I cant abide the lavender. Love the cheese/salad course - this creates a lingering dinner vs the North American way of salad being a first course and basically we race through dinner. The cognac in the mousse is decadent. Can I lick the spoon please? How yumm !
I tried the hachis parmentier and my sister and cousin went nuts! They loved it and so did I. Thank you so much from Denmark in Europe! (The country right next to the guy from Germany)
Yes, I love Pot Pies too! Using store-bought puff pastry makes them really easy to do :) And then sometimes I'll also add little seasonal shapes with cookie cutters, with more puff pastry on top, which is always a nice touch too. Let me know how it goes! :)
Wow! this is great! I love the idea of a make-ahead dinner! I can't wait to try all of your recipes and have my own dinner party! I especially love how you explain why things are French and some of the history behind it etc. :)
Beth, what a delicious meal! I can't wait to make everything! Beth, I'm having a few friends over for a breakfast brunch. I have a few ideas but I'm not sure what to make. I really need your help ! Thank you!
It is an herb blend popular in the southern region of France known as Provence. It includes dried Thyme, Rosemary, Parsley, Marjoram and often times Lavender and Fennel seed too. :)
Yes of course :) All the recipes are in the description. Just click SHOW MORE under the video player and there is a link to the recipes in there. Better to go by the written recipes for best results! :) Enjoy!
These videos are fantastic! Would love to see more of these types. Theyre so helpful to me and gives me the confidence to throw a feast :) thankyou kinconmunnity!
Thank you so much for answering all my questions!! haha I have been watching you non-stop since I found you and I love it!! Sorry for all the questions... I love to bake and cook but I'm young so I don't know all these tricks. Thank you again!! Rachel
I just had a dinner party where I made all these recipes. It was a huge success. Thank you so much!! You were there for me very step of the way. We are planning a tapas and tequila party for Halloween, and would love suggestions. Thank you again. You took all the stress out of having a dinner party. xx
So glad you are enjoying the videos! :) OK so I think Turkey will taste better with lighter flavors. I'd do a bechamel sauce (2 tbsp butter melted in a pan, add 2 tbsp flour cook for 1 minute it will turn into a paste then slowly add about 1-1/2 cups of milk, whisk until smooth, and then add grated nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste, and about a tbsp of fresh thyme. You could also add some sauteed onions, leeks and mushrooms as well. Then top with the mashed potatoes and swiss cheese. Enjoy!
LOVE the recipes :) very easy to do, delicious and inspiring. Keep them coming :) and as for the video's I prefer the ones that give me the entire menu :)
It is so easy ... the sagagnaki (spelled Sayanaki) is a great appetizer ... you take feta cheese and dip it in some eggmixture and then in flour ... I recommend not to take a big feta cheese, if it is too thick, just cut in in thinner parts ... then all you have to do is fry it in a pan until golden brown on each side ... its warm, a little bit melted and it still has some bite to it ... very delicious ... I recommend you to try it, its really tasty :)
Yes Mam =) Was perfect! Very Very good. I added your baked Brie to the menu because I had a fairly large group to feed and that totally rocked. It went as fast as I put them out along side the Gougeres. YUMMO! =)
these are my favorite Kin videos! Thank you for the potato tips, I have been doing it the wrong way this whole time. I will make sure to try this tip. Would love a video on the basics of stand mixers.... i.e. what to use them for, the attachments, etc. Never thought to use it for my mash potatoes and I have a shiny one on my counter waiting to be used! :)
Hi Beth! I have to say it has been super fun for me watch and trying out the ideas of your videos. Thank you so much!!! Please keep it up. An extra special cottage pie!
Fantastic idea!. We have new neighbors here in Palm Springs from CT. But the wife is from France. Our entire street is known for potlucks, and smaller dinner parties with each other. Deborah Krantz because of their looser health rules in the US the danger of getting salmonella from raw eggs is a real thing.
you ladies are simply amazing!!!!
Made this for my family tonight. Thank you so much for the amazing recipes! 😊
