Ah, you're costing me money! Ordered the Oryx chassis, spacer kit, and the side panels in FDE today (3-6 month wait!!). I also picked up a couple boxes of Eley Match and Club to try out. The Tenex has been shooting so well for me, but it's pricey here in Australia.
Hi Ryan! Glad I helped with your decision! That chassis is worth the wait and glad you found some ammo. I saw some Eley Match last week for $24/box, I paid $16/box a month ago...Then just a few days ago I saw it on the same site for $20/box. This stuff is fluctuating daily it seems. Can't wait for all this to be over with!
I have a "tweaked" MDT chassis, CZ 457, and found the same results. Mine also like Wolf ammo, and of course, the standard old school: Federal Gold Medal Match. Once we get to this level, a giant box of whatever just isn't going to satisfy. Like the guy at Midwest says, only accurate rifles are interesting. I use my bulk stuff for handgun.
Hi Rapid! Thanks for the input here. Funny that I was at the 22 LR match range today and another gentleman was shooting a Tikka T1x in a KRG Bravo chassis and his gun loves the Lapua Center-X ammo, then the RK. So it does go to show you that each rifle really can be different in the ammo it "likes". By the way, I used Eley Club, Eley Practice, and Eley Tenex today just for practice and that Club was right on out to 200 yards. I think once your find that small group of ammo that works best for you, then just stick with it and be confident in it...Similar to what you were saying above I think. Thanks again for watching my friend and shoot straight!
Hi Larry! My thoughts as well. Shot Target, Tenex and Club just plinking around on the match range yesterday and they all did pretty well actually. I have my first 22 LR match in 2 weeks so we'll see how I do! Thanks again for watching!
Hi Goat! It's CCC Shooting Range outside of Navasota, Texas: cccshootingcomplex.com/. It's 1,100 acres with ~20 stages for long range. It's an awesome place!
Hi Savanh! It's more of a compensator than a true brake, but I really liked it on there: www.midwayusa.com/product/2192259287 Make sure you shop other places because the price at Midway seems a little high now.
@@vincentsounthala314 I'm actually using an Erik Cortina EC Tuner on my Vudoo V22 22LR for competition now...look it up. A bit pricey but I have seen a difference in a tuned barrel.

👍👍👍
Thanks Igor!
Lube on both Ely loads should be similar, so maybe you won't need to worry much about fouling shots when switching.

Thank you Des!
Thank you nice video.
Thanks Dowan!
What range is that? Looks like typical Texas. :)

What muzzle device is on your Tikka T1x?

@@The4GunGuy Thank you. I have the DIP compensator on my Tikka T1x. I thought it was a barrel tuner? It looks beefy and compliments your setup well.

No CCI and no Aguila or federal 22lr those are the best
