Thanks for the video. I was wondering about this thing after seeing it on amazon. No thank you. It's like if my mini SE went through a thunderstorm and got soaked, hit by lightning, then stopped at a bar and got drunk... And it's only about $70 less...
Marcus, you're a real trooper freezing your ass off playing with these toys. This little drone might be a basic starter, but in this day and age, people expect some kind of stabilized footage. The original Mavic Mini can be bought for little change, and is literally in a different league. Merry Christmas to you and your family 👍
You are a "Trooper" for facing the elements this time of year! Nice packaging of the drone and accessories. Not crazy about the lack of a gimbal, as it was quite the dizzying experience watching this video. All and all, it is what it is for a budget drone. Hopefully you didn't get too much mud on your shoes retrieving the little critter from the tundra. Again, great work as usual!
I’m glad you were able to get the drone landed, when it wasn’t responding. And video was a little jarring, I’m not used to seeing video without any kind of image stabilization these days. Great review Marcus, you really put some work into this one.

Another interesting one, Marcus. 😂 One acronym solves this entire debacle: DJI. I learned the hard way in the hobby after crashing and losing my fair share of budget drones. About to head out with my air 2s for some nice winter shots.
Hi there Marcus. When I click on the amazon link. It shows it to be 269.98. Oh...just saw it with a coupon for 259.98. A few bux more will get you to a Mini SE. I didn't really enjoy the video feed from the drone not having an axes of some kind. Yeah I found it interesting that it froze up on you there when the battery went into critical low mode. Like you said. Be the pits if you were in a position of a fatal landing. I did notice the flags on the pole in the background were really whipping around. So yeah the drone did well in that kind of wind. Maybe if you still have it around when spring comes around and try it again. Did the owners book have anything to offer about the frozen control during critical low battery ?

Thanks for the review Marcus! For just 30 dollars more you could get a three axis gimbal and DJI dependability in the mini SE, right? The competition needs to step up its game!
