I've seen literally every video on this channel. Angel is by FAR my favorite chef ever. Just radiates happiness and good vibes. Obviously loves cooking for others and putting a smile on their face. Haven't smiled like that in ages.
This episode made me smile from ear to ear. Angel is the man! I went to get his famous lechon. 2 hours later I got my lechon because I was chillin with him and his peeps. BTW that was first time meeting him and it felt like I have known him for decades. Thank you Mikey for posting this instant classic. BX STAND UP
Mike, I've been enjoying your videos for years, I've probably seen 80% of your content or more, and I have to say this is my favorite one. You radiate happiness and I've been watching with an internal smile (not external because I was eating at the same time haha). Sometimes I had to tell myself "he is genuinely happy". No pressure at all if it's not the case, but I really feel you are more comfortable than ever with your lifestyle. You are an amazing human being, you deserve it. Be you. Thank you.

I though I am the only one that noticed. It might be because of Jessie. Notice how he say that he wants to hang out with Jessie without camera. It meant something like a private date. Angel, his demeanor, characteristics and attitude match the name. What a great man, making great food.
The Lechon place is my favorite spot to hit up on Saturday. It’s also a very festive atmosphere whenever I go there. Any time I see cars with out of state plates , I know it’s people who are not local. People come from far out to try the lechon. The Mojito ( that garlic paste) is an amazing topping that goes with everything! Gonna check out the other locations you suggest later on!

Mike, I grew up right on fordham road right next to the new night market and Arthur ave were my Italian side would call it the real little italy. Appreciate you showing love to the place I call home, I always tell people out of the 5 boroughs the Bronx has some hidden treats because it does. My Dominican family calls Lechon pernil but like always you put me onto a new spot to eat here in NYC, much love I appreciate you

This video made me miss the Bronx so much. I haven’t been since 2018 and it’s longest I’ve been without visiting the place I grew up at. My mom used to work a couple blocks down from Arthur Ave so I’d go there so often. Luckily, I already booked my flight for next month and I’ll be back soon. But this video made me extremely happy and hungry for some nice Bronx food.

Mike doesn't need no one to match. He himself is a one man show. How on earth a star would share half of self to an other? For no reason nonsense. Most human can eat lots good food like mike/nonstop if available. But most do not have the time resources luxury intention and money/costly to do it that way in life. If you want something specific you need afford to make it happen.

Angel is a certified bronx legend and his lechon is literally the best i've ever had. That man loves his South Bronx community and welcomes anyone and everyone from anywhere, with open arms and treats you like family even off camera. He feeds the homeless, the elderly and little kids free of charge and hands out empanadas to people waiting on his long line. He even throws block parties in the summer and invites everybody and they mother to come out, eat and have a good time.
