Heads up, getting a reservation at Peter Luger is no east feat. Many are made a month in advance and lastly they are CASH only. The food is amazing though.
Also good to note that the burger is only on the lunch menu.
The reservations are for dinner. If you go for lunch (only time they serve burgers) you won’t need a reservation. And if you go for lunch on a weekday you might not even need to wait
TheCutBeautii I’m in NYC right now and my uncle told me that they only accept cash because in the 80s, that’s where mafia and gangs hang out to exchange ~the cash~. And it went like that for a couple decades and now it’s just a tradition

When I was in college I worked in a ribs & chicken resto. They made 12 oz burgers and cut fries. I put on 15 lbs. eating the bbq ribs and cheeseburgers.

When I was in college in Honolulu, there was a little burger joint that made an excellent kimchee burger. They didn't just put in a spicy mayo, they replaced the leafy veg with kimchee. Haven't thought about it for years ; thanks for sparking some great memories! 👍😁

You have to go and try the Chori Burger from Jeepney in NYC. Jeepney won Time Out New York's 2014 Battle of the Burger.
My 2 favourite burger restaurants are Brodburger in Canberra, Australia, and John's burger, Kiel, Germany.
But the best burger I ever had was made for me by a friend who is a chef at a 2 michelin star restaurant. I challenged him to make the ultimate burger. It was on another level.

That burger would be perfect if it was cooked more. Ground mince is the one meat that has to be cooked well for me. Regular cuts are different and red in the middle is great but not my ground meats. Gonna have to eat here the next time I'm in New York. That bacon is off the hook. And the pita burger is a winner for sure..im jealous..I love New York pizza and I haven't had it in a while. Luv u man
