You are in for a treat with P3 and P4, this band is constantly trying to top the last album and push themselves in the songwriting....and that's what I love most about Periphery, sure they can write a techy proggy mathcore extravaganza like P1, instead they put there time into new ideas and unique composition.
Via is one of the best discoveries on Spotify for me at least one hell of an album! Also, yes I did just fast forward to the end :P I can't listen to anything until I get to it

That reaction to Hell Below is pretty much the only reaction a human being can have. Sounds like they literally pulled it from the deepest pit of sludge at a factory where demons create torture devices or something. Interesting that you seem so in love with P1, I've never given it a full listen and most Periphery fans agree it's not representative of them at their best.
Dude I swear, northlane has dropped a banger of an album this year you should check it out. Nothing is a miss, all of the songs really takes a futuristic approach and gosh it's sounds phenomenal. All the songs are my favourite but the one that stands out for me is Clarity.
It hasn't dropped in my timezone but I'm so excited. Alien has insane production and I wouldn't be surprised if Obsidian takes that sound to another level.
He does the patreon because some labels don’t let him upload the full reaction to UA-cam, if you look at all the albums he’s fully uploaded free of charge you’ll see this. So some people can pay 1$ a month and can see someones first time reaction to an album they love.
He has good insight and musical instinct especially for someone his age. Obviously (or maybe not to you) you can't upload a full reaction to a new album on YT, even though he does it within the legal confines... UA-cam's system is very stupid and only serves corporations. If you were a real musician you could make the tabs yourself, and why would you seek out a random person for lyrical advice? Legit just asking.

What really makes the albums awesome after a few listens is the contrast between the motifs used.
