Wonderful review of a great and my favourite gun by my really dear one gun reviewer the Graham the great Graham.Pleade do continue this series. Will be very thankful for.Tnx.
I like my AK, for me the big draw was the price of ammo. Now, unfortunately, it sits and I never shoot it. I have become too practical in my preferences.
I have 5 r 6 AR platforms large and small about 5 years ago I got a WBP lynx and loved it earlier in the year I purchased a zastava m90 and somehow it has become my favorite rifle to shoot there is just something mechanical and really fun to run !
I've never ben an AK guy - they were too cheap and of questionable reliability when I was first introduced to them back in the 1980s. I never really had any desire for a " black rifle " until earlier this year when I picked up an AR15. I did shoot an AK back in the late '80s because a friend had one, and it was fun but not fun enough to get one. In hindsight, I wish I had bought three or four of them back then. It has been a bit amusing to me watching the change from "cheap trash" to "fine battle rifle" to "Collector Grade Weapon" as it has happened. I clearly remember when I could have bought a real Kalashnikov for $100 and gotten 2 boxes of ammo as part of the deal. Dammit, I'm getting old 😳
I have an emotional attachment to the platform, my first firearm I bought for myself was an Arsenal SLR 106. As an AKFiles survivor myself...the community is... interesting. At this point I'm gonna come out and say it, the AK is the 1911 of rifles. They work, but they're harder to make *right*, heavier, have some weird quirks, harder to change parts on, and ultimately don't do anything that an AR-15 (or a Glock) doesn't do, but somehow it's got that "soul" that you can't define.
I enjoy my wasr 10/63 with canted front sites and all. I put a Midwest industries scope Mount and a Primary arms 1x prism optics and it does the job just fine
Had two brand new in box Bulgarians, both with the reddish/purple furniture.Never used either, traded and sold them in the "early" 2000's.Missed them since a few years later, now Kalashs' are unobtainium for here...
I have 2 AK's one a 1968 Poland parts kit that I had built , and a Romanian built on an Atlantic Arms build.. Both have run flawlessly . That said I own AR's and AK's, but at 50 with a 2X rebuilt shoulder I do put a rubber pad on mine now. As far as Toxicity , that seems to be SOP for the gun world now.
Wow that's a nice AK rifle. My husband and I have five AK rifles. They are fantastic rifle's, fun to shoot and definitely rugged. We were fortunate to obtain a Chinese version that included a removable bayonet. I personally like the history behind the AK rifle. I don't know much about AK modifications as we have kept them stock. If you ever decide to take that AK to the range, maybe you can make a video? Thanks for such an interesting video 😀🙏
I used to think an AK-74 was just about the ideal home defense rifle. As I collected dud rounds (military and commercial) and the prices of the rifles kept going higher, I changed back to an M4.
Still love my AK'S. Luckily I stockpiled ammo many years ago. I didn't realize there was toxicity out there. My buddies and I have both AK and AR platforms
I spoke to them year after year at SHOT for a number of years and each time they seemed excited and were going to send one for review, but never did. Behavior like that takes companies off my "interested" list, but I hear they have good products.
Still the same for me. They're a bundle of fun. But once you start trying to set it up for serious use, its agony. There's a reason you see iron sighted AKs with empty rails everywhere and almost never see a fixed sight AR in the same boat.
I follow Clint smiths ideology on AK47s You need to know how to pick it up, load it, aim it hit a paper plate 25 yards, just because you don't own one doesn't mean you won't fight with one someday. I'm paraphrasing but I think I'm close.
I never got into AKs. I've shot and liked them . I never bought into the poors , accuracy ,etc. I do think it's funny how expensive they have gotten. They seem to keep getting more expensive actually. I'm not spending what $700 - $800 on even a PSA version. I think it's because every time I consider it there was and is stuff I did/do (unfortunately) buy into. That was .... this one is crap that one is good and vice versa on the same brands depending on who I was watching , talking to or what i was reading. This importer is good , usa ones suck etc etc

Thank you great job
I was never attracted to AK's, but I respect them for what they are and would never try to change anybody's mind about them.

Yes the doubling of ammo cost has really hurt the fun.

Hopped on the boat early, then left... seriously wanted to get back in,but the ship done caught the horizon👍
@@surveillancedevicemedia no longer are they the cheap alternative

I have an AK103 from PSA and really like it. I think one should be in any collection.

Yes sir I like the AK and AR. I go with pistols the vast majority of range time, but I'm poor so there you go.
@@LVbibby when I was into AKs part of it was bevause they and the ammo was cheaper than handguns
Absolutely love my M10x by M+M

I like my ar BUT AK all day homie. Sam7r and wasr10 lover myself.
Same story here. Love my WASR but it’s not economical for me anymore. Maybe in ten years the market will flip again 🤷🏽
Sitting here with my bulgy slr-105 ak 74 variant watching this video…
I did a variant of ak ak p9 but I have wanted to get into full ak 762 so that may be a future buy even if it's on the cheaper side of it to start.
Wish I had one, have an AR in 7.62 x 39 , but it’s not the same

So far I haven't AK'd nor AR'd. If/when I do, I'll AK. They're just cooler.
