His lips looks so painful, I know they don’t hurt they just make them misplaced but his lips are cracked.
They do hurt and it can cause lip exma and make them really dry and sensitive and the sensitivity can spread across his skin and give him spots and sensitive and raw skin which is painful and sore
they definitely hurt that’s why he’s always licking them
Glad both my babies rejected the binkis when they were new borns.
Mine took it one time, and daddy nor I liked it. But when I put it in her mouth the 2nd time she spit it out. Around 4 months. I took it and threw it away and she never missed it.
I had one binky baby and one not. It was harder to get rid of the thumb!!!!

I watched this video and 3 days later we threw out all the sippy cups in the house. Both my 3 and 4 year old were hooked to their sippy cups and especially at bedtime. The improvement is amazing. I absolutely love Jo's techniques
It really irritates me when parents allow toddlers over 2 to have pacifiers... Its not necessary and will delay their development. It'll also harm them, such as with this little boy's lips and will ruin their teeth.

I think this would have worked on me if I was like that! It’s a nice way of getting rid of them without the kids getting upset about it.
My daughter has been off of her pacifier for months now and I didn’t do this. She’s not even two. We were going outside to swim and make her take it out while she was in the pool. One day an idea came 2 me and I did it. I put her pacifier in her socks and took her inside. I made sure she wasn’t around when I took it outta her socks. I put it up and she completely forgot about it. It’s legit that simple when they’re younger.
The binky fairy wasn't even born when I was little I bet. In 2003 Santa took away my pacis and I never knew why 😂😂😂

hyperbabe2009 I’m a dental assistant and we say they should start being weened after first year, it will messes up their palate and teeth alinement. Makes it like a V shape over a C shape. Causes lots of issues. Same with bottles.

tbh it looks like Luke used his more than Lily, because if you look closely you can see that her face doesn't seem NEARLY as red and chapped as his was. Might explain why she was more chill about giving hers away.

Kids also will lick their lips when they’re chapped because they’re trying to add moisture

In Australia they are called dummies because it keeps babies quiet.The hospital just jammed one in my new babies mouth. We gave ours to Santa when Bub was two because they can stop speech and damage teeth.

It is the last baby thing that "MOMMA" has. I understand not wanting to give up the baby, but the next stage is so fun. Young enough to still think you are all that and cuddle with, but old enough to drink with sippy cup alone and finger foods that momma may be able to actually eat SOME of her meal without having tend to the BABY.
