@Louis caleb Interesting. I have a lump sum doing absolutely nothing at all in my bank account, I wanna get something started with it. You seem to be doing excellent for yourself, how do you achieve this?

H i Becca .rhank for your amazing video. I am wondering why when i do night and wedkend duty my tax is more and accully lesser that when i have less nights and no weekends. And all my duties are in the same place .
Hey thank you so much for the app recommendation it is so useful. I’m currently working out how much tax I need to be paying if I work certain hours and the app has taken all the pressure of me as it makes working it out so much easier ❤ I honestly feel god wanted u to make This video as its helped me out so much thank you!
What should be the right tax code for a nurse in England because I noticed some people are mostly on 1257 while you see some are on higher ones. These are people who are on the same band.
UK tax. You earn then Government will cut 40% of your income? Then you need to pay for council tax, insurance tax, car tax etc tax tax tax. What will be left to you?
hey Becca Bea I absolutely love your channel...I am a Jamaican who is currently in the process of starting on the migration journey through an agency. My question is this suppose you are weekly paid is the 20% divided by the 4 weeks or 5 weeks in a month? I am asking because my husband is a skilled worker and most of the jobs he is qualified for will be paid weekly so i was just trying to work out his taxes. Thank you in advance.
Thanks for this very informative video. I have a question if for example you are earning £21,000 per annum in your job without overtime. You then take an over time shift of 12hrs @ 11.50 per hour. If you are on a tier 2 visa you still have like 8 hours left You then take a job not in healthcare care but still under the shortage occupation list for like 7-8 hours at £14 per hour what is the possibility of you getting tax under the 40% bracket. Thanks
I only work in one trust but I recently received a letter from HMRC indicating the adjustment band rate of more than £2k. Does it mean that the £2k is subject to 40% tax?
Maybe you doing more overtime, its not within the 40%, when u download the app i talked about, and put in ur new tax code it should help u know if u entered the 40% bracket
@@beccabaetv my current earnings is already at £48k so I’ll definitely hit more than £50k until next month. Do you know how to compute the possible excess in which I will be taxed at 40%?
ive started my first job and i earn £2100 a month, am i entitled to a personal allowance as im being taxed £400 and only taking home £1700 a month (Tax code 1257L)
Thanks Becca. So is this tax thing revised every month according to your earnings, or once you enter a higher tax bracket, then automatically, subsequent salaries are taxed like that? For instance, if I enter 40% tax bracket because I did an agency job in February, but decided to quit and stick to one job which keeps me naturally at 20%, will I be taxed at 40% in March? I hope I'm making sense.

Then basically when you do more hours, you pay more tax, then it's better to use the extra hours to do handy jobs or?
If u have that option, yes! If not u can get an Agency that pays better so u can get a good take home
