there prices are eye opening too. 2nd best value behind tcb but with thicker denim is pretty impressive. they have natural indigo denim for under $400 aud which is crazy low for natural indigo.
I recently got a pair of the 17oz ultra slubs They're great and I can't wait to have them faded so I been wearing them extra The only thing I would change is making the coin pocket a little bigger silmar to the flatheads and momotaros
I own some of their clothing and jeans and they are absolutely amazing, fantastic quality for quite a bit less than a lot of their competitors. I do wish they have more variety but they have a lot in terms of weights and a few cuts
Yes, I also like The Strike Gold a lot. I am happy to own a pair of the 9903 24.8OZ Extra Hard Regular Straight from Redcast Heritage. This pair is really a little challenge. 🙂But I love it. Now I'm also looking for a lighter weight pair. Thanks for this - again - cool video!
I think even those of us with experience with Japanese denim often underestimate the shrinkage when the fabric is unsanforized and washed or sanforized but unwashed. It looks to me that that's what we see here. These are beautiful jeans but when you compare the sizing chart to your after-wash measurements we see a bit more shrinkage, no? Of course they will stretch under stress. These came out (at least to my eye) a pretty slim fit for a so-called "straight." Thanks for the very helpful review!!
Thank you for watching. You are right; that's why customer service is essential. In raw denim, unsanforized or raw sancorized, the shrinkage is unpredictable. It depends on the weaving and how aggressively washed the jeans moreover, there is variation in measurements before and after washing, as well as in how the owner washes the jeans. That's why I always recommend checking the measurement and not focusing on the size. It could be tricky when you buy your first selvedge jeans
Hi!! I always buy from Denimio, Bears Japan and Hinoya. Those shops are based in Japan. I order from the UK, and the price tags are final, no surprises. The only downside is if you make a mistake when you order, it is difficult to exchange. In my experience, it only happened to me once.
Strike Gold 25oz straight model are on my list at the very top.
I’m on the waiting list already!! 😉

Such an amazing looking denim! You are doing an awesome job by the way, keep up the great work!
Thank you!! The point is that they are not that expensive compared with other Japanese brands.

I believe that this brand deserves more attention; I own other products from them and are top-notch
