How to apply for PR in Australia - 189 Skilled Independent Visa

- Surprise Surprise! There was an invitation round for the Skilled Independent 189 Visa on the 21 January 2022!
Since the end of 2019, there haven't been many invitations rounds.
This new round at the beginning of the new year gave us all hope that we will see more invitations from this visa subclass in this new year.
In light of that, I thought it would be a good idea to make a video explaining all the ins and outs of the process involved in making an expression of interest to apply for an invitation for this visa.

Just keep in mind while applying that many 190/189 applicants have been waiting two-three years for an outcome. Saying this to keep expectations of a fast grant down. It's the elephant in the room not many are talking about. This will be a positive year for everyone I believe!

I've submitted an EOI for the 189 visa for almost 2 years and its due to expire in Feb 2022. Do you reckon its a good idea for me to re-submit the EOI from scratch now or wait till it expires?

That's a long time to wait. No thanks to pandemic
I stumbled upon a video before suggesting create one EOI every 3 months, reason for that is you stay on top of the queue in the event older one expires.
I think it is allowed but once you got the invite just don't forget to withdraw the others to give way for applicants. Hope this helps.

YES u can increase your point before getting invetection , there is the option to update your EOI
