@LouiseJulie_ Oh... I never knew Rebels was such a special show for you, as well. Ive always had an unreasonable love for it, it´s probably my favorite SW thing. Nice to watch your reactions again =)
Love that Sabine is officially part of the “disaster lineage”. Every master and apprentice duo since Yoda trained Count Dooku has been pure chaos, and Ahsoka and Sabine are no different.
@@TheOnlyHawkeye666 Hey, a lot of people remember him best for voicing Mr. Krabs, a lot of people remember him for voicing Lex Luthor, fans of The Clone Wars remember him for voicing Savage... Clancy Brown's voice is almost as memorable as Jim Cummings'.
Morgan Elsbeth was introduced in The Mandalorian. "The Magistrate" was Morgan Elsbeth, and it's since been confirmed and updated that that's Morgan Elsbeth via IMDB and other sources. In both instances played by Diana Inosanto (daughte rof Dan Inosanto.) And she's doing a phenomenal job. I can't wait to see her next fight.
Favreau and Filoni love to put comedians into character roles, and this time Jai Kell was played by Vinny Thomas, who is a hilarious funny guy on Twitter.
I (also) loved the way the re-used the animated series Ahsoka's theme, incorporating it into this series soundtrack. I wasn't sure about Hera's portrait from the trailer, but I'm fully convinced by Winstead's performance now (especially after episode 2). Sabine IS Sabine, it's not even a performance, she IS her 😁. I'm looking forward to see how they explain Baylan's knowledge about Ahsoka's life, and I mean her relationship with Sabine.
In a way, the map is kind of a Dathomiri(-an? dunno...) version of a holocron, though the "key" is more of a physical combination lock than a "Force" lock. Keep in mind Morgan responded to Shin's question with "A survivor", rather than a full confirmation. It could imply many things, including potentially some guilt about her past (I can only guess, but it sort of reflects Ahsoka's own past as not a "full" Jedi).
Was looking forward to your reaction! Welcome to Star Wars: Rebels season 5! I mean I mean Ahsoka! also R.I.P. Ray Stevenson, there will never be another actor to play The Punisher like you did!
So glad we're back!!! Loved your reaction, that was amazing! Here's a little something nobody seems to be noticing : the writings on the map during the credits are not Aurebesh....
Awesome reaction as always! Just seeing how excited you were for this first episode, I'm really looking forward to seeing your reactions throughout the remainder of the series.
It is confirmed in the Star Wars Canon comic Darth Vader when he had his castle built on Mustafar and then in the Vader Immortal vr game. Vader/Anakin tried to revive Padme from the end of episode 3 Revenge of the Sith, but he couldn't see it because Luke and Leya were already born. Because he thought they died in her womb. So when he tried to revive her, he couldn't see them because they were already born. And then when he found out that he had a son, he wanted to be sure Darth Vader 2020 comic period between Star Wars episode 5 and 6. And some time after that, this cinematic Fallen Angel takes place.
Welcome back! Great to see you shining and smiling! lovely configuration you got there! the day we all been waiting for is finally here! So exciting for 8 episodes of Ahsoka!!!
There's a reason your Star Wars reactions end up in so many reaction mashups. I really enjoy them. I heard speculation Morgan might be from Dathomir but since she doesn't look like a Night Sister, not sure how we could have guessed she was.
There was a tweet that was put out by the costume designer in season 2 of Mando when Morgan first appeared where said costume designer confirmed that she was a night sister. That tweet has since been deleted but it got out there that in conjunction with the dialogue that Ahsoka says to Din in that episode has had people speculating about this for years at this point. So I don't know if Disney didn't want that spoiled or what but it definitely seems that that was what Dave was leaning into when he was directing that episode of Mandalorian
I could not stop quoting treasure planet when I saw that the map was basically the same map as the one from treasure planet and it was a holographic starmap too😅
Absolutely loving it so far! Thanks as always for more fantastic reactions! 😁Also the first 5 minutes of this video were a hilariously brilliant build up of hype and excitement 🤣
I love this show already! I'm so excited to take this ride as a viewer and to watch your videos as you take this ride too. As much as I was anticipating this series, I was equally eagerly anticipating watching your reactions to this series - to see your in-the-moment reactions, your insights, your questions, and your expressions of love for this franchise and these characters. Thank you for doing what you do and thank you for just you being you. Side Note: I'm an old school fan. I grew up with Star Wars. I saw the first film in theaters in 1977 at 3 years old, and have seen every subsequent Star Wars film in theaters and have watched every series in existence (the Ewok movies, the Droids cartoon, all of it). I am an official member of the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club. I love Star Wars. I have watched ALL of your Star Wars reactions and will continue to enjoy and support your channel. May the Force be with you.
the fact she said so pointedly that she's a survivor and is a nightsister descendant makes me think we are getting live action cal and merrin sooner than we think
What a phenomenal premiere. Absolutely love Baylan and Shin (rip Ray Stevenson). The lightsaber duels look amazing. And of course, I love seeing Hera, Chopper and Sabine in live action. Rosario Dawson truly embodies Ahsoka so well.
Holy crap. I knew Sabine missed Ezra, but I wasn’t expecting her to be THIS pained over his absence. The Sabezra shipper that has lived rent-free in my head since watching the first episode of Rebels is going absolutely crazy right now (Ezra’s “sister” line be damned). Anyway, this series is off to a great start. I’m so excited to see more of it-just as I’m excited to see your reactions, Louise. Honestly, one of my favorite things about this show was the practical loth-cat and the knowledge that somewhere out there is a real cat that is technically a voice actor for a puppet space cat.

Not all Dathomirians are Night Sisters or Night Brothers. Some can use Magik yet they are not part of any group. Some can't use Magik. It is like with all races who can wield Force. Not all of them are Jedi, some join Force cults. Others are just naturaly proficient in use of Force because their planets are on Force Nexus like Zeffo.
