the irony of me missing this stream i had a notification scheduled for because my mom wanted me to go to a lecture with her, and the topic was satan being behind all your “intrusive thoughts” on islam. the lecturer said “a lot of people come to me about how their children have doubts and questions about the religion” and then proceeded to dismiss them entirely by blaming the devil. very healthy, i think.
In Algeria there is both a rise in atheism and a flood of conversions to Christianity. This movement of apostasy, in the sense of Muslims leaving their religion, is increasingly alarming the country's authorities. It particularly affects the younger generation, who no longer want to pretend to be Muslims and reject hypocrisy.
@@unfairlive2 I'm in Algeria and from what I see there's a lot of people leaving Islam but they aren't speaking out about it so when you walk outside you'll still feel like the country is religious...and during Ramadan apostates who would dare eat in public will get beaten up then jailled ... we'll see what the future brings I have hope in the future generations
It's great when people leave Islam but there should also be provided a good alternative guideline like secular humanism for people who need something like that, so they don't fall for other bad things like Christianity instead.
@ Yeah I can understand that being rough when there's public reprisal. I hope you all will get there though, if not during our lives then those of our children!
Dear AA; thank you so much for your kindness to your commenter in despair, and your courtesy to your rude and thoughtless commenters. You make me feel more hopeful about the world!
Many Muslims (& theists in general) seem to conflate "respect" with "compliance & deference". The latter may be prudent in certain situations ie when confronted with a cruel & powerful despot, but the former can only be earned through good qualities and actions, regardless of the power and authority of the person/entity.
This is also partly because their followers read only their set of religious books. If they had only expanded their knowledge by reading other books and learn about other religions in great detail, they would quickly find many other personalities and great people whose conduct far excel those of Mo.
1:55:11 Funnily enough, this was one of the big reasons that motivated me to leave Islam. I've studied in an Islamic school for 14 years of ny life, and Islam was practically shoved down our throats every second. Somehow, I never learnt this thing about Islam from school or even the Madrasa I was in for a couple of years. I only learnt about this dark side of Islam through your channel, Aladdin, and I was horrified to learn that Islam allows such debauchery and cruelness towards other fellow humans. I could not reconcile with the fact that the so-called religion of peace ordained this. It was heavy on my mind for a lot of days, and after watching some more ex muslim content and gathering my thoughts on this whole thing, I decided to leave Islam. Granted, Islam allowing sex slavery was not the only reason I left islam, but it was a big reason for why I did so. Also, Aladdin, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the work that you do. Watching your content has really helped sharpen my critical thinking, and it's like a breath of fresh air compared to the loud, preachy ranting of Imams and Sheikhs. Please keep doing the wonderful work that you do, but please also take breaks whenever you need, and don't burn yourself out. P.S. I'd left a comment on one of your videos a while back, but I'd done so on my main account that my friends and family know of. The comment started getting traction, so I eventually got scared and deleted the comment. So, really sorry about that 💀😓 Edit: spelling mistakes.
So, the moral argument ? You could have easily bypassed that and find a moral justification, if you think about it enough. Personally, I just lost faith in God at one point, moral arguments had no effect on me. I guess we’re all different (the difference may be, I was never taught it was a religion of peace, but of « justice », which is why I could find many justifications to the moral arguments, such as, the « enemies » were evil therefore God knows better, how to deal with them)
What you expect from Medieval age? Sex slavery it's normal on they're age. Did you even read Your Bible? Abraham have slave too, he's doing seegs with her. WTF with you bro?
@@YogiAlamS-et5jj "Did you even read Your Bible?" Where do they say they're Christian? You're always crashing out in the comments about people being Christian when most people here aren't.
@ArtiZetl I agree but I think in terms of justice, It depends on what your version of justice was. I think I was just brought up with a very different understanding of it. Maybe I'm mixing up morality with justice but I can't see slavery as something that's just, surely there would have been a much better and more just alternative for God to figure out.
@ArtiZetl As I said earlier, the moral argument is just one of many reasons I chose to leave Islam. To put it more clearly, learning about sex slavery in Islam was the cataclyst that blossomed all my previous doubts about Islam and also brought new doubts along with it.
As a 21 year old hijabi who's been ex-muslim for 5 years, going on 6, I appreciate how eloquent you are in relaying your experiences. Thank you for being one of the, sadly rare, empathetic male voices from my experience. I always feel less alone when I listen to your content. Thanks 🤙🧞♂️
41:56😂are we the same people you said the exact same thing I was told as a child, I remember being told Kaaba was at the center of the world and looking at the globe being confused because that definitely doesn't look the center of the earth lol
The argument that without religion, there is no morality is a weak one and with little evidence to support. This is because humans have developed empathy and reciprocity within themselves. Humans naturally understand that if I don't want others to do such and such to me, therefore I should not do such and such to others (fairness and reciprocity). Coupled with empathy, we humans are able to share the feelings of another (pain, joy, sadness, etc). Together, empathy and reciprocity form the basis of morality, not religion. Religion merely record down the expanded form and use it to set rules for societal harmony. In fact, research shows that even very young children exhibit a sense of fairness and can distinguish between helpful and harmful actions, suggesting that some moral intuitions are present from early childhood, without formal religious teaching.
I wont say its weak argument because for some people like myself, religion is the reason why I dont do very bad stuff. I loved stealing, I loved taking revenge on people and I normally wished death on people but I stopped doing that when I became more religious, those urges stopped bevause its against my religion and maybe if I ever stopped believing in God, I dont think I'll ever go back to what I did and who I once was, the morals and values that I've learned is within me and its all because of my religion.
I haven't watched the whole video as it's a bit long, but my two cents are: Many Muslims do leave Islam, infact there's practically an avalanche of Muslims leaving their faith. It's just that they can't really come out about it, due to pressures from family, society, and the law. BTW I'm an ex Muslim from Lebanon and can't really change my religion on paper. But I'm fully out as an atheist, and am lucky that my friends are also non- religious and my family was never very religious to begin with. Cultural Muslims, more than anything else.
Ex-muslims are not all evil people, many are angry because they become separated from the community they love through no fault of their own. This is a painful thing to go through
@ArtiZetl no, it's not their fault that their entire family got endoctrinated, it makes them angry that a 7th century bedouin ruined their lives with his lies to protect his ideology
one of the main difficulties that emuslisms have, is that in fact, a vast majority of the christian world, does not even know that there are exmuslims, I am from Spain, and the word exmuslim has never ever been seen in any newspaper or news, this is gross, and will be tragic, time to time
AA now a days I m struggling a lot though I left practicing islam months ago but still people very dear to me are not letting me leave it and it is really depressing I m trying to cope up with this messy situation. And I like to watch your videos because firstly they are damn relatable and secondly I wanna be as calm as you r despite the fact you are In saudi arabia
This (1:06:18) is imho a really important point and I wish it was emphasised more often. All that 'objective morality', 'from God' etc is based on the claim by Muhammad that he was hearing voices and that they were from God. I'm not disputing God Himself, I just think that Muhammad was sick and/or a liar. Btw in my view our reason and conscience and God are interrelated, interdependent - so we are not quite as dumb and as subjective as it's claimed. Thx for the video Aladdin.
With you 100% on how incredibly inane this "objective" morality claim is. Here's another angle you might want to consider: Objectivity is "not dependant on a given mind" so, in a way, everyone making the b.s. claim of objective morality coming from a deity is implying their god doesn't have a mind! "So your god is mindless? ...and you worship it!?" 🤭
Literally Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad it's same. Their people hate them. Abraham got burned, Moses got kicked from Pharaoh Kingdom (Moses was given a duty to protect Bani Israil), Jesus got cruxified, Muhammad & his muslim friend got kicked from their own home (Mecca). Jesus said "A prophet will always be hated by his people." Source : Bible
@YogiAlamS-et5jj There have always been people that hate those who become public figures. If Jesus ever actually said such a thing, his observation was banal at best. Every public figure has detractors and it's common knowledge. Is this supposed to be impressive or prove anything?
@YogiAlamS-et5jj Another way to look at this is to consider that communities generally tend to shun people exhibiting schizoid behavior syndrome (lack of interest in relationships like hiding in caves or encouraging people to shun their own families; a rich fantasy life like hearing rocks greet them, cursing fruit trees that aren't in season, claiming to hear beings whom no one else can hear or see; etc, etc.). It's no surprise that these prophet-misfits with their bizarre assessments speaking their minds (without filters or regard to impact), would make those around them nervous and eventually resentful.
When you said how poor people are the ones who stay in religion, it reminded me of something I learnt. In history people who were great poets and philosopher were somewhat decent in economic status. And the reason is that they had time to think about life and try to make sense of the world. You just can't take week to think about philosophy when you don't know when your next meal is gonna come from. I heard this is one of the reason why even queer people are increasing in number 'cause we are at peace. We can think if we are right at our bodies or not. Gender queerness thrives when we are at peace.
Be careful about conflating correlation with causation. Also, please consider that there's been no change whatsoever in the number of queer people in the world, what's changed is that in some places, it can be discussed and demonstrated openly without threats and violence.
@tulpas93 I agree, that queer people were and are always a part of history. And mostly they were not out due to fear of prosecution. But also, ask anyone who change their opinion on things. Sure there were times it might have clicked but there are times where questioning it for months on end had made them come to that conclusion. While being poor, you aren't afford that time to wonder about why something happens. And even if one can ask why something happens, religion just gives them a convenient answer. What I just mean is, many people leave religion after months and years of questioning and poor people don't have that much time to questioning when they need to worry about food, home or million other things
Yes Maslow's hierarchy of need... Unless basic material needs are met one can't perhaps philosophe thier way through the world.. The destitute are made to believe that they need to embrace endurance in the name of god while the rich can chill in the name of god
24:42 It’s unfortunately the same within evangelical Christian circles as well. I see chatter on line every time there is a disaster, and especially if it’s in a blue state. God is punishing the sinful liberals. And they seem almost happy about the losses.
My thoughts on religion are dismissive. I believe that the current religions in the world will one day no longer exist, much like the religions of ancient times.
In Your dreams! Only! Religion such as Christianity will forever exist Ex Muslim here and Christ’s followers now, 6 years. Not everyone like been worshipping himself like atheist, do!
The religions of ancient times don't exist because they were replaced with the religions of today. In your opinion do you see modern religion taking over or do you think that agnosticism/atheism will replace religion?
@iridoscyclitis Interesting question. I do think that the religions of today will be replaced by something, but am not sure about atheism or agnosticism. There are YT channels that I watch about people that have left Islam, Christianity and Judaism for a myriad of reasons with logic being the catalyst for the departure from all three.
@ I think agnosticism/atheism will be a hard sell for everyone. There's no sense of shared ritual/rules, community, or higher sense of higher purpose that comes with them. Those are the main reasons that people are hesitant to really make the jump regardless of logic being against their beliefs. At the same time, I also can't see a massive new world religion either.
Thank you AA for your educational videos. Could you do some videos on chapters in Quran that are controversial? And what are your thoughts on the different versions of the Quran? Thank you again from an ex-Muslim :)
I'm an ex christian. Leaving was so scary for all the reasons you mentioned. I remember i the day before i decided to finally leave. I prayed to Jesus saying I would like to explore and i still respect him and God and such stuff. Looking back it seemed silly but i was a teenager and it was scary with all the conditioning. One thing I realized was that people question and leave but then they stop questioning and make up their mind that god isn't real and athiesm is the only truth. Maybe it is or maybe it isn't. Our limited human brains cant understand such topics. Its strange how perfect the planet and life are and how they co depend on each other but if there was a god how could he/she be so cruel and evil. The religious texts dont make sense. I found it more peaceful to just keep questioning and learning. I take what seems good and let go of the others and live my life the way I want to. As for the argument that without religion, people can't have morals. That makes no sense what so ever. It doesn't take much to question if our actions would hurt the other person or if it'll make them happy. We dont need a book to tell us that
Hi Aladdin! I don’t know if you read comments, but if you do I’m watching on replay and have a question. Years ago I took a political science class about religious fundamentalism and politics. It was basically about how different fundamentalist types of religion influenced politics around the world. When we got to the part on Islamic movements, I asked the professor a question but he kind of dismissed it and gave a non answer. I said that it seemed like Islam was untouched by the Enlightenment and didn’t seem to undergo the changes that Christianity and Judaism did. I asked if he thought it ever would or if he thought there would ever be something like that within the Islamic way of thinking. He said it already has and kind of fobbed me off. But in my opinion it hasn’t really. I understand there are different degrees of observance and practice, like with every religion. But what is considered typical or average in Islam does seem a lot more fundamentalist, more like Orthodox Judaism or conservative Christianity of some type. Also, it seems to discourage individual beliefs and discernment. People rely on scholars a lot more and it seems like the average Muslim isn’t encouraged to read the Quran and think for themselves. What do you think? Is this a fair read? Would you ever consider making a video going more in depth on this? Thanks! ❤
"People rely on scholars a lot more and it seems like the average Muslim isn’t encouraged to read the Quran and think for themselves." It feels like people are hesitant to individual interpretations to encourage conformity and dissuade people from splintering off from mainstream sects as they claim has happened to modern Christianity.
This is also based on an outdated idea of medicine as well. Physicians are shifting away from medical paternalism where what the doctors says goes and we're educated to involve patient input in the process. Questions, within good faith, should be welcomed by physicians and we'd explain and/or provide resources to help patients understand.
1;35 this is a brilliant analogy. I’m going to use it. Just because we don’t have all the answers doesn’t mean we have to blindly accept the blatantly absurd and demonstrably false assertions of religious authority!
For me the basic 4 reasons are : 1)Islam is based on far-right socialism that is a political ideology, and it can be popular especially in poor angry people 2)50% of people or more would be believe in a God, people like to be in groups they feel safer 3)Islam countries many times are poor so people are less educated, people use logic less 4)Islam countries are kingdoms or like dictatorships or even their democracies are very authoritarian(see turkey for exmaple), enforcing the religion directly or in-directly
I would quibble with your 3rd point. While I would agree that the rigours of formal logical argumentation is something that needs to be studied and practiced, I sense that (barring those certain mental abnormalities) most people have a basic and reasonable grasp of Logic. What leads some people to make what others would consider to be “illogical conclusions” are their different values. If you honestly believe that Unicorns exist and that they can heal people remotely, then it would be logical to attribute the recovery (from illness) of a love one to Unicorns. If you don’t believe in Unicorns, then that conclusion would be illogical. That is to say that religious people do not use logic any less than irreligious people. Their use of logic leads to different conclusions because of the difference in their beliefs.
@@MinhDuong-lg7uk The 3rd point is a nuanced. As you gain more education in science and philosophy, you are likely to become less religious universally. However, when it comes to general education, the effect on religiosity varies by region. In Europe, higher levels of education are often associated with reduced religiosity, whereas this trend is not as pronounced in the United States or the Middle East.
@@kyoungd again, it can happen, but the reverse can happen, as for western Muslim scientist Shoaib Ahmed Malik who is all about Islam and science, very smart guy even if I don’t share his faith
In my opinion, the real factor that would lead someone with a good education to become irreligious, is trauma and painful experiences, which decrease the chances for someone to believe in a God
@ArtiZetl I agree. There are several brilliant and well educated religious scientists and philosophers. My point is simply that the odds are lower if they are educated in science and philosophy.
i think that some people can't leave religion in general cause they need that spirituality to protect themeselves from mental breakdown, especially poor people in poor countries, it conforts them to think that somebody (the bad and rich westerners) is gonna pay for their misery in the afterlife
It is difficult as it still has quite a mass and it's inertia keep it going but when more and more followers get disillusioned and leave the collapse will accelerate and we will see the end of this vile cult !
If you live in a Muslim majority country, community, family etc. Leaving publicly is going to be socially impossible. There are much more subtle ways people leave such as not praying, not fasting properly, doing things that are looked down upon (within reason). It’s mostly little rebellions. However, acting out or proclaiming disbelief is going to send you to an exorcist or psych ward
AA thank you a million times, your honesty, enlightining information, I didn't know that Islam is more of a deep embedded tradition in everything a Muslim is, one's deep embedded identity from before birth, I understand. May God protect you from harm all who left Islam, provide your needs, increase you in wisdom and knowledge of Christ, we love you❤️
@@ApostateAladdinthey are scared of loosing their heaven and community membership 😂. Cults have this issue even if their children are married into other cults.
To address what you are describing with flat earthers. This is accepting people where they are. Realizing they are on a path back to God. We are all at different phases here. Even within religion. It is difficult to have different beliefs from family. To try to share things that would help, only to have them be consumers of mainstream narratives. You can change yourself and lead by example.
Islam is not going anywhere. But maybe, one day, it will be separated from its strict dogma, and something good or better can come out of it, like it happened in the past with (Sufism)
Great video In hinduism you can sit in temple and deny god. No repurcussion. In hinduism, if you leave hinduism other people may have discomfort but you do not need to hide your faces and addresses. After some time every body moves on in their life
Since you mention temples, dalits were not allowed in temples not too long ago. And were treated with contempt. But yeah, you sit on your high horse and think highly of yourself.
@ArtiZetl loll. You are talking about sati pratha. First hindu Queens did this, when their husbands lost war. It is better than your European Breast cutting, overy cutting, private part cutting in open public (Dark history of Europe).
More free time to do what you want, but in a spiritual sense I just know that I just am and that is enough for me. It does get easier with time, we are all all in different healing journeys
It feels like a void, but that's the religion (or echoes of the religion) talking. You are whole without Islam. Please - don't try to fill that sense of a void with something else. Let the wound heal cleanly. All the best to you and I hope you get to the point where you feel as whole as you truly are! ❤
Apostate Aladdin you did not answer to the question how did your parents accept your apostasy or maybe you did not tell them or just cut off all connections with them
Bad analogy. We know the dangers of fire and hot water are real. We have never seen any evidence of any hell. In fact, the early monotheists (jews) didn't even have the punishment of hell. It's mostly a christian invention, later adopted by islam.
Jesus: "why'd you pray at Sunday ?" Christian : "Our Pastor says that" Jesus : "Did I command you to pray on Sunday ?" Christian : "No." Jesus : "what you doing guys? I tell you to pray at Sabbath time". Christian: "What's Sabbath time ?" Jesus : "Sabbath is friday-noon to Saturday-midnight." Christian : "OOOOOH" Jesus : "oh come on guys, what the hell is that?"
Falsehood! Ex Muslim here and Christian now! Better than Muhammad hedonism Better than atheist hedonism! Jesus Christ is better than you! For certainty! Get lost! I prefer Jesus Christ over your imagination! Suffer!
@@joygibbons5482 This guy has no idea what he's talking about. In another comment on another video, he claimed that Jesus married a child but wasn't condemned as Muhammad was when in reality most Christians don't even think that Jesus married at all let alone a child.
I left Christianity for the one true God.Also study Christianity you are not saved until you understand how the trinity works so you are neither saved neither have a family
@adhk : I would say Christ is many orders of magnitude better than Mhmd, in character, teachings, authority, work and achievements. He defines truths, goodness, life and more and opens the path for relationship with the author of existence.
It's all pizza. You left cheese pizza for peperoni pizza. At this point Christianity may be the lesser of the two ev1ls. R3ligion poisons everything. Sorry about your family
باختصار play it safe. @adhkhjcdar634 If you've come to this conclusion about the quran, then this tells a lot about your Arabic. Honestly, do you even read the quran in Arabic? The quran being a masterpiece is not debatable among anyone who has a clue what Balagha is. It's very weird comment. If you can't appreciate the quran as a literary work , then there's something wrong with ur Arabic. Do you know, for example, the difference between فلنسألن and سنسأل?
Where does the Quran forbid slavery? It does not. Yes, it clearly forbids alcohol and pork, which are pre-existing problems. Instead, verses regulate slavery, which upholds this vile institution. The Quran only suggests freeing a slave as a penance for sins.

Pay attention! The number of times this content creator points out that Christianity IS NO BETTER us quite high! You are misrepresenting this content creator, which is also called BEARING FALSE WITNESS! You are here engaging in the comments of an atheist channel, thereby helping to spread its message. You seem like a liar and a fool. Not a good look for Christianity. In fact, I'm begging to suspect you are actually an atheist trying to promote this channel by encouraging people to engage!
Human are emotional. You believe in a god because of emotional reasons. But there is no good evidence of your god. You have no good reasons to believe in a god. Believing in a god goes against what we do know. And the religion has a lot of flaws. You need to learn to listen. If you didn't get the messages in the video maybe you need to watch it again. Take notes and steelman AA issues.
"Every reason was just emotional" uh maybe because humans can't judge anything without using their feelings about it, feelings are what usually indicate what is right or wrong and it's right, so of course believers will have alot of those feelings (since they deny and don't believe in any scientific evidence)
You know, it could be that this video is not for you. If you look in the comments there are very apparently people who did appreciate this video. You don't have to like anything on UA-cam - this channel doesn't owe you anything. If you don't like something, just move on. You have to be pretty stupid to take the time to comment on something you don't like, especially when your comment only serves to promote the channel and expand the reach of its contents. As someone who really appreciates this channel and the content I thank you for helping to support this content creator! ❤
the irony of me missing this stream i had a notification scheduled for because my mom wanted me to go to a lecture with her, and the topic was satan being behind all your “intrusive thoughts” on islam. the lecturer said “a lot of people come to me about how their children have doubts and questions about the religion” and then proceeded to dismiss them entirely by blaming the devil. very healthy, i think.

@@YoucefB-h3q there is a small underground church movement for sure.

It's great when people leave Islam but there should also be provided a good alternative guideline like secular humanism for people who need something like that, so they don't fall for other bad things like Christianity instead.

Many Muslims (& theists in general) seem to conflate "respect" with "compliance & deference". The latter may be prudent in certain situations ie when confronted with a cruel & powerful despot, but the former can only be earned through good qualities and actions, regardless of the power and authority of the person/entity.
👏
Right?
Respect is something that is earned, never owed.

This is also partly because their followers read only their set of religious books. If they had only expanded their knowledge by reading other books and learn about other religions in great detail, they would quickly find many other personalities and great people whose conduct far excel those of Mo.

Funnily enough, this was one of the big reasons that motivated me to leave Islam.
So, really sorry about that 💀😓
Edit: spelling mistakes.

Where do they say they're Christian?
This applies to all social animals.
Great comment.
Dogs have more inherent morality than Mo'.

Cultural Muslims, more than anything else.

one of the main difficulties that emuslisms have, is that in fact, a vast majority of the christian world, does not even know that there are exmuslims, I am from Spain, and the word exmuslim has never ever been seen in any newspaper or news, this is gross, and will be tragic, time to time
Most people know that people join or leave religions. Why should a newspaper talk about it ?

@ArtiZetl because muslims are convinced that their religion is fast growing because of conversions which is absolutely false

2:02:31 That in itself sounds like a plot for a Mission Impossible type movie with the amount of guards they have on rotation. 😅
Here's another angle you might want to consider:
Objectivity is "not dependant on a given mind" so, in a way, everyone making the b.s. claim of objective morality coming from a deity is implying their god doesn't have a mind!
"So your god is mindless?
...and you worship it!?"
🤭
Literally Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad it's same.
Their people hate them.
Abraham got burned, Moses got kicked from Pharaoh Kingdom (Moses was given a duty to protect Bani Israil), Jesus got cruxified, Muhammad & his muslim friend got kicked from their own home (Mecca).
Jesus said "A prophet will always be hated by his people."
Source : Bible
Good video! Very interesting to learn about this from a westerner who is not Muslim.
24:42 It’s unfortunately the same within evangelical Christian circles as well. I see chatter on line every time there is a disaster, and especially if it’s in a blue state. God is punishing the sinful liberals. And they seem almost happy about the losses.
I love Jesus twice, and I worship him instead of you!
My thoughts on religion are dismissive. I believe that the current religions in the world will one day no longer exist, much like the religions of ancient times.
In

Religion such as Christianity will forever exist
Ex Muslim here and Christ’s followers now, 6 years.

Thanks! ❤
I
"People rely on scholars a lot more and it seems like the average Muslim isn’t encouraged to read the Quran and think for themselves."
It feels like people are hesitant to individual interpretations to encourage conformity and dissuade people from splintering off from mainstream sects as they claim has happened to modern Christianity.
they are encouraged to read, but not to question or to understand
"You don't question doctor but question Allah" if a doctor would hand out medicine based on 1500 years old book I would question it heavily
For me the basic 4 reasons are :
1)Islam is based on far-right socialism that is a political ideology, and it can be popular especially in poor angry people
2)50% of people or more would be believe in a God, people like to be in groups they feel safer
3)Islam countries many times are poor so people are less educated, people use logic less
4)Islam countries are kingdoms or like dictatorships or even their democracies are very authoritarian(see turkey for exmaple), enforcing the religion directly or in-directly
This type of discourse is why this will never happen
I would not use the word eradicate when talking about even ideas. Most people think genocide even if you are just talking about ideas.
Mashalla this weakened my faith 🙏❤️
If you live in a Muslim majority country, community, family etc. Leaving publicly is going to be socially impossible.
There are much more subtle ways people leave such as not praying, not fasting properly, doing things that are looked down upon (within reason). It’s mostly little rebellions.
However, acting out or proclaiming disbelief is going to send you to an exorcist or psych ward

@ArtiZetl loll. You are talking about sati pratha. First hindu Queens did this, when their husbands lost war. It is better than your European Breast cutting, overy cutting, private part cutting in open public (Dark history of Europe).
@ArtiZetl who said it? Please give references.

Hi AA how did you fill up the void in you due to leaving Islam
Hi, speaking for myself, there was no void.
More free time to do what you want, but in a spiritual sense I just know that I just am and that is enough for me.
It does get easier with time, we are all all in different healing journeys
It is tough. It takes a while to sort out priorities. Even the bitter truth is better than beautiful lies.
It feels like a void, but that's the religion (or echoes of the religion) talking. You are whole without Islam. Please - don't try to fill that sense of a void with something else. Let the wound heal cleanly.
All the best to you and I hope you get to the point where you feel as whole as you truly are! ❤
that's sad right?
Apostate Aladdin you did not answer to the question how did your parents accept your apostasy or maybe you did not tell them or just cut off all connections with them
Do you refer to yourself as culturally Muslim?
People are the one using hell as a threat, its an information , a warning ⚠️ .eg warning: Fire, Hot water etc
Bad analogy. We know the dangers of fire and hot water are real. We have never seen any evidence of any hell. In fact, the early monotheists (jews) didn't even have the punishment of hell. It's mostly a christian invention, later adopted by islam.
WTF are you on about?
so you will still contribute to their numbers and boost their ego..
Jesus: "why'd you pray at Sunday ?"
Christian : "Our Pastor says that"
Jesus : "Did I command you to pray on Sunday ?"
Christian : "No."
Jesus : "what you doing guys? I tell you to pray at Sabbath time".
Christian: "What's Sabbath time ?"
Jesus : "Sabbath is friday-noon to Saturday-midnight."
Christian : "OOOOOH"
Jesus : "oh come on guys, what the hell is that?"
Jesus, as far as I rember from reading the gospels, just encourages prayer, in private. No discussion where or when though, so none of that follows
Falsehood!
Ex Muslim here and Christian now!
Better than Muhammad hedonism
Better than atheist hedonism!
Jesus Christ is better than you!
For certainty!
Get lost!
I prefer Jesus Christ over your imagination!
Suffer!
Those were actually his quotes? 🤣
@@joygibbons5482 This guy has no idea what he's talking about. In another comment on another video, he claimed that Jesus married a child but wasn't condemned as Muhammad was when in reality most Christians don't even think that Jesus married at all let alone a child.
Ex Muslim here yep i left Islam and now saved by Jesus Christ yes i lost my marriage and 2 kids but Jesus is my all.
I left Christianity for the one true God.Also study Christianity you are not saved until you understand how the trinity works so you are neither saved neither have a family
Oh boy😂 Christianity isn't any better
@adhk : I would say Christ is many orders of magnitude better than Mhmd, in character, teachings, authority, work and achievements.
He defines truths, goodness, life and more and opens the path for relationship with the author of existence.
It's all pizza. You left cheese pizza for peperoni pizza. At this point Christianity may be the lesser of the two ev1ls. R3ligion poisons everything. Sorry about your family
Jumped from one boat to another. Guess what ever floats your goats
الكافرين= عذاب infinity
باختصار play it safe.
The story telling in Quran is so all over the place and often times missing huge amount of context. You're just glazing tbh
@adhkhjcdar634
If you've come to this conclusion about the quran, then this tells a lot about your Arabic.
Quran preach emancipation, through out. Just because it mentions pre-existing problem, it does not mean it "legelise" it.
Doesn’t outright ban slavery. A good god would do that.
Where does the Quran forbid slavery? It does not. Yes, it clearly forbids alcohol and pork, which are pre-existing problems. Instead, verses regulate slavery, which upholds this vile institution. The Quran only suggests freeing a slave as a penance for sins.
@@annegreengables6367 Nonsense. emancipation is moral duty not as penance for sins

AA you blow my mind😮, eye opening information, thank you , a lot of deep information that rarely communicated, may God help us to continue preaching the good news of the gospel of Chris to our Muslim brothers and sisters and to trust God to open their eyes to the Truth
What video did you watch? There is no Christian preaching here.
Muslims are not easily fooled into Christianity. If they leave their religion, they become agnostics, or atheists.
@moimimi9399 Keep this goofball talking. Their comments, regardless of what they have to say, only help to serve this channel!
Every reason was just emotional, baseless and could be said for pretty much anyone leaving anything. Not sure what the point of this video was.
That's funny, I had exactly the same thoughts regarding your comment. 🙏
Belief in God, or disbelief are both based on feeling. Reason can help but it’s rarely what guides such a decision.
Thanks علادین
I really hope not if Muslims go I won't have nothing to laugh at, please Muslims stay and defend your cult so I can keep laughing at you all day long.
Unkind, dehumanising comment.
All religions are just massive cults.
Edgy atheist moment
@@AJansenNL You've got to admit, it's FAAAAAAAAAR less dehumanizing than the Qur'an! 😊
