Seth deserves a lot more credit than he gets, I know a lot of people were thinking that his World title run became stale. But he gave us a lot of amazing matches & rivalries with the likes of Shinsuke & Drew all that while he was injured. He sets the torch for a new wrestler like Damien Priest to win the title.

I used to be in that camp - this year (2024), especially after ‘Mania 40, My respect for Seth skyrocketed to the moon. He is one of the greats, no doubt.
But was shinsuke and Seth a good rivalry? All he did was attack the knee and give us anime cutscenes and lost everytime he faced Seth and it wasn’t even close

In my personal opinion. It was a very nice gesture to give Buddy the title. Vince Sr. Knew he was injured, and they both knew it was serious enough to remove him as top draw, and yet Sr. And his partner gave Buddy the title as a thank you for the years he put in before the split.
Becky deserved to be the inaugural SD title it was such a feel good moment back in 2016, she busted her ass for years to win her first WWE title & fans kept cheering her name during the Title reveal on SD to show who they wanted to be champ. Unfortunately WWE killed her first title run by having her lose her first feud & kept her out of the title picture for 15 months until fans refused to boo her at Summerslam 2018 where The Man was born. People forget the fans are the biggest reason why Becky became the star she today because WWE refused to push her for years & were forced to push her.
In the 2000s and 2010s when it had lost a ton of prestige? True. But come on, there have been tons of great IC champs like Bret Hart, Mr Perfect, Shawn Michaels, and both Stone Cold and the Rock began rising to stardom as babyfaces when they won the IC titles
Incorrect. The WWE U.S. Championship carries on the lineage of the original WCW/NWA U.S. Championship unlike the Word Heavyweight title which is completely different from the 2002 WHC title.

I just realized how often the exact same scenario had played out: -WWE has a "unified" World champion -Unified World champion becomes exclusive to SD -Raw creates new title -SD title drops "unified or "undisputed" moniker and just becomes the WWE Championship again -Raw and SD titles get unified into a new unified title for both shows. Champion carries 2 belts for X amount of time before switching to just 1 -Somewhere down the road, title becomes exclusive to SD -Raw creates new title Etc, etc... it's not even a similar formula with a few tweeks; it's the exact same. 2002: Brock Lesnar becomes exclusive to SD; Raw creates World Heavyweight title 2016: Dean Ambrose becomes exclusive to SD; Raw creates Universal title 2023: Roman Reigns becomes exclusive to SD; Raw creates different World Heavyweight championship. We're already passed the carrying 2 belts phase. So how long before the Undisputed WWE Universal Title becomes just the Undisputed WWE title, and then just the WWE title again. How long till it gets unified with the World Heavyweight title and becomes Unified/Undisputed and is used on both shows again? How long after that will said title become exclusive to SD and Raw has to create a new Umiversal title (different from the current one)?
The United States championship was unretired when Eddie Guerrero won it. The lineage is the same. The only title from WCW that is still active. You said the title was retired....but it was reactivated with Guerrero. Same belt. Just letting you know.

I don't see the Speed championship getting any TV time. It's more for people who aren't that interested in the actual product. As a life long wrestling fan, I think matches that are designed to be really short are too much of a fourth wall breaker.
