If I’m not mistaken, Bret has never legit been beaten by Austin or Taker (the two most over guys in history). He did a great job keeping himself strong
People act like Bret wasn't into himself at that time. He wasn't a prick like Shawn was, but his ego was as big if not bigger than Shawn. At the time of his peak, Bret lost clean only to members of his family. He never did put over anyone else clean. And that includes Shawn. WM 12 wasn't clean at all, match ended in a draw, when Bret had Shawn in the middle of the ring in his sharpshooter. And fun fact, nobody in history has ever broken that hold.
1:11:35 he’s going through withdrawals 1:25:50 it sounds like Bret doesn’t actually watch the UFC, because people almost always tap long before getting their limbs broken. Plus how he describes someone tapping as “something serious” just isn’t something a MMA fan would say, you know because tap outs are extremely common but it’s alright we still love the Hit Man.
I appreciate how seriously Bret Hart took his character and the business in general. And it’s 100% to be expected- he was raised by a legendary wrestler, and earned his way from the lower mid-card up to headliner / championship status. You would take yourself very seriously, too! He was barely ever home to see his family, and was always out working. Shawn seemed a little too cocky and like he was living a little too “fast and loose” outside the ring. Imagine how a very serious, professional guy (Bret) would view a cocky guy that thought he was a rockstar (Shawn). It speaks volumes that Taker, another guy who treated the business as a very serious lifestyle, sided with Bret’s perspective over Shawn’s attitude. When he came back in the 2000s as a born-again, humbled guy, Shawn was MUCH more likeable. He also had matured as a storyteller and had the best matches of his career. I wish we had gotten the chance to see mature Bret versus mature Shawn. I have a feeling we’d still be talking about that match today as a best-ever contender.

Me either my favorite HBK moment is when Shawn won the World Title in 2002 in The Chamber match my favorite match of his career
@@melaniewhitt9271 that was a great redemption story ! He just comes back and steals the show after 4 years off.
@@MR.__G got that right it was one of the reasons it's my favorite matches of his career
@@melaniewhitt9271 he has so many great matches to choose from. I love how everyone will have different choices
@@MR.__G me too but his elimination chamber Match just stands out to me watched it over and on You Tube
Happy new year 🎉
they did that collapse great!!! I remember watching that and asking my dad, do you think that was real and my dad said '' hold on ill let you know''. Well when the paramedics came out on their own and not with heart defibrillator, and it looked like the paramedics were just as surprised as the viewers. My dad said "" if they would have came out with all the medical equipment ready to go, then yea it would seem planned, but they came out and looked surprised"" for once it seemed like Vince did something right!!!!
Ay bruh. That sell from marty on the super kick was honestly one of the best I've seen. Like that flip. Was crazy.
The Rockers were my favorite tag team as a child. I was so upset when they were feuding and was relieved when they squashed their beef at the Barbershop. But when he threw Marty thru the glass i knew it was over. Crushed my 6 year old world right there.
RiP Sensational Sherry
Shawn michael no 1 favorite wrestler in the world
You have to hand it to Sherri, she sure could take one helluva bump!
GOOD MORNING & HAVE A NICE WEEKEND
The whole thing about 1995 match of World Champion Diesel and Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels vs Tag Team Champions Owen Hart and Yokozuna with all the titles on the line was revisited in 2001; this time with World Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin and Intercontinental Champion Triple H vs Tag Team Champions Undertaker and Kane with all the titles on the line.
I love when Shawn threw Marty threw the barber window straight away heannan goes that coward Marty jumped out the window to get away from Shawn great comenanatry u NVR hear it in repeats but he deffo said it I heard it at the time and I found one on UA-cam a few yrs ago to show I did hear rite heannan was gold rip
Wow what a raging diarrhea of a speech
I never understood why the Iron Man Match was 0-0 after 60 minutes 😐
Egos. No man wanted to lose a fall
Awesome work best wrestling channel on UA-cam luv it
90s ✌🏾😎 Big Respect and Onelove
45:11 Wow Vince was wrong about booking a face superstar?? What a pffffttt lol no, that isn't even surprise anymore, good on Kevin Nash and HBK for knowing that THAT spot wouldn't go well over with the fans
Shawn Is the Goat
Yeah, a nasty old goat!
He was a better person and performer from 2002 to 2010
Besides his over selling
To me, nothing can touch his 97/98 heel run. Pilled out of his mind Michaels was hitting on all cylinders.
@@charlesiofaustria7361 Totally agree with you.
@@charlesiofaustria7361 yes pilled up coked up and all the REST. 🤣🤣was the best.. Its the same in all Art forms. Drugs always take it to the next level.
@@MrJayceproductions just ask perc angle lmao
Wonder if JR saying the DX ppv was "souled out" was tongue in cheek
He is the best wrestler in any wrestling ever period
The rockers breaking up, it was the first time in my life where I had a lifetime memory of that moment.
I grew up in this era, and i never saw davey as mid card in this period. He was always on the brink of a title run to me
