- RUTHLESS TILL TODAY | Wrestlers that Succeeded in Both Eras!
In previous videos we’ve looked at wrestlers who’ve performed in different eras such as New Generation and Attitude. But what about those who have crossed over in other phases of WWE, by competing in the ruthless aggression era, and are still in the company to this day to tell the tale? Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to be looking at today.

WCW/WWE Cruiserweight Division (90s-2000s): Where Are They Now?
It's crazy how long Luke gallows has been with the company, For those who didn't know he was actually the one that played the role of Fake kane back in 2005, Played his role as festus then Joined the straight edge society then reunite with AJ Styles alongside with Karl anderson & is still wrestling right now. He deserves credit for how long he has been in the company.
That's what they said in the video bozo
That dude has been released 18 times
@@Usedplungerstotheface which literally proves the point, imagine being resigned again that many times while not being a real draw/crowd mover
@@GOATTTTTThe knows his role that's why
@@studentNEET319 obviously common sense, dont tell me tell the dude that's talkin about how he got released 18 times
The Miz deserves all the success in the world. He put (is STILL putting) his entire life into the business. I can see him lasting in WWE even after his (sadly inevitable) in-ring retirement. Imagine a 60 year old Miz as a legendary heel manager like Paul Heyman. Anyone else see my vision?
I'd be disappointed if he doesn't.
It will feel so strange & sad to Randy retire cause Him & Rey are pretty much the only favourites who are still actively wrestling since 2002.
The Miz is definitely a HOF entry and Randy Orton Is definitely gonna be a HOF
R-Truth, as well.
Miz is so forgettable idk why u weirdos love him so much he still the same character as he was back then
@@ocsjc13And he still gets the reactions everytime, you dont have to change your gimmick that often if you are world class in one
@@ocsjc13randy orton ultimately the same too. what you want them to do? get a mask and turn into mysterio? i ain't a fan of miz either but he earned his right to be mentioned in the video
@@GtRckt-qj4rzhe want them to be like mick foley aka cactus jack aka mankind aka dude love 😂😂😂
I'm shocked that i didn't see R-Truth on this list but then again he did start back in the attitude era as K-Kwik
WWE is real feeling no matter what era ur in. The vibe of Wrestling never dies.
That's sweet man. True✊
I’m gonna cry like a baby when John Cena and Randy Orton retires. Those two are my favorite wrestlers ever and I’m thankful that I still get to watch them in the ring after all these years 🐐
I know how you feel when we lost Taker and HBK.
I couldn’t see who was first on this last, all I saw was shirt/short and a ball gap moving around
I misread the title, I thought you were saying they were brothers.
Honorable mention: Natalya
She came in pg era
more like dishonourable mention
Longest woman wrestler to still be there, but she joined in 2008 when it started to turn PG
What about Kenny Omega. WWE said he wouldn't make it because of his size.
It's about 100% WWE
@siciliabeats3364 he was in WWE, but they saw nothing in him.
@@paulcowlishaw It's about being successful in both WWE eras ONLY
@@paulcowlishawIf you had a brain, the point is people who succeeded in WWE in both eras. Kenny had a cup of coffee in DSW and that's it.
Golden to New Generation: Undertaker
New Generation to Attitude: Undertaker
Attitude to Ruthless: Undertaker
Ruthless to PG: Undertaker
PG to Reality: Undertaker
Reality to Modern: Undertaker
add Kofi Kingston and maybe Brock Lesnar
wwe did Luke gallows dirty. ..... but that body transformation was crazy
Ruthless aggression the era I grew up watching wrestling in ! It had its pros and cons, but to my little still developing mind, it was amazing!
And to think the miz has a better wwe career than Morrison years ago I was angry about that but now I'm happy for him
What a shame we never got a feud between Festus and Eugene (as far as I'm aware of) 🤪
That biscuits and gravy theme was a banger 😂😂😂
Happy memorial day joe..love ur channel n the Variety of videos..👍👌
I always hated that the only reason they gave Rey the belt was because Eddie died. However I do wonder if it had happened now if Triple H would have given him a actual run even if a short one since he doesn't necessarily dislike small guys at the top unlike Vince. Though I do have to say that give how much more stacked the top of the ladder is right now compared to back then, it would be less believable to see Rey successfully defending his title against some of the top guys in the company right now.
I could see him giving some great matches against people like Cody, Seth, Jey, Damian, Sami, AJ and Punk, the other ones would be a struggle to make believable.
Rey deserves a proper title run not a transitional one or a poorly booked run.
@@zemox2534 I agree, but he's near the end of his career, so that along with how stacked the top of the card is, I can't imagine he would win a top title ever again.
John Cena Is My Favorite Wrestler
Kicking it off with the #1.
Your UA-cam Channel Is Number #1 Wrestle With Andy Keep Up The Great Work
Brock Lesnar and Shelton Benjamin also!!!!
Hey did you do the year in review for 2010?
Loved Jesse and Festus
It’s John Chena
It's definitely a stretch to say Festus was successful in Ruthless Agression era. He's not really successful now (and I wouldn't be surprised if he's cut soon).
He's been in a prominent role in both, dummy.
He has been successful in the past or did you ignore his njpw run?
@@zemox2534 This video isn't about New Japan - it's about WWE.
Success doesn’t have to mean a mega star
@@JonHazzard fair point. But it also doesn’t mean just being employed. None of his characters have gotten over.
Correction punk didn't "leave" aew he got fired
Crazy how long Kofi Kingston, The Miz and Randy Orton have stayed in WWE
R Truth also has succeeded in both eras. He's one of the longest serving employees of the WWE.
He played Festus sooo good
do a video about real life heel turns. (Ric flair, Ted dibiase Jr, Vince etc)
Chris Jericho paved the way for smaller guys to be pushed in the main event not CM Punk.
You mentioned him jn regards to Miz about Rtruth?Who to this day underrated
Honorable mention: Kofi Kingston
"What happened to your accent? Aren't you suppose to be Puerto Rican?" - wish they inserted this as part of Priest's lines
5:29 The Straight Edge Society
I always thought randy Orton would be who Cody Rhodes is now. Love them both but I think randy is often underrated
John Cena is my all-time favorite wrestler
I thought Kofi started at the very end of the RA era, along with Cody Rhodes. I know Natalya did. Part 2??
John Cena was early 2000s. Debuted in 2002.
20 years has the miz been in wwe longer thst any tough enough winner I like to think that back in his early days they told him that he would not last thst much for being a reality tv show guy
I loved me some mvp
LOVE HIM OR HATE HIM JHON IS THE MAN ❤️🔥
yep Earthquake was a bad ass
How is Brock Lesnar not on this list lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣
R truth been around since attitude era
Luke Gallows was also Kane in Attitude era
That's ruthless
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Where's Natalya? The only woman you could have put in this video and you missed it
She came in the pg era
@@VinceAustinStoneCold 2008 was pg? I'd say it was in between but I may be mistaking
Jesus, dude. The videos are pretty good, but stop saying "The Fed."
9:31 Wait... Gunther is IC Champ again?
Bro really?
Kofi doesn’t make the cut huh
If people understood how much wwe booking nerfed Bobby Lashley skills smh the man is a multi time kick boxing champ
Bobby Lashley is not a Kick boxing champion he was a division 1 wrestler and did a few low level mma matches he was no where near Brock Lesnar status in wrestling or mma
ECW champion wasn't developmental champion
Luke gallows would be the one who failed in both eras
What? No Chris Jericho?
"Wrestlers who succeeded in both eras." The thumbnail has Luke Gallows a guy who very clearly failed in both eras. He's literally the worst person to put in the thumbnail
What a fucking stupid comment. You not liking him doesn't mean he "failed", and he's hardly the worst.
Yeah I was thinking the same when did he succeeded in any era. He has better character now than ruthless but still a jobber. He has no accomplishment till now for which you can claim being successful
Biscuits and gravy
The Miz is going to have one of the more emotional retirements in my opinion. Dude came from literally nothing and is more than likely going into the hall of fame
You think cm punk was the start of the change away from large dudes, no that was Hitman
1:42 Shawn wasnt playing 😂😂😂
Max Caster played Bobby Lashley sister
The 4 Horsemen of UA-cam Wrestling are Wrestle With Andy Wrestling Bios Wrestling With Wregret Markyd123 and their manager Jim Cornette
To be honest I left wrestling the day it went PG
fetus wasn't successful he was consider a joke
He is considered a joke till now too
The only wrestling people from UA-cam you can trust are Jim Cornette Wrestling Bios Wrestling With Wregret Markyd123 and of course Wrestle With Andy
Cena ruined it for me.
What does Carlito do again ???....spit on the face of people......
Punk is a 3 time world heavyweight champion not 2 time
and a fucking egomanic
Gallows is successful?
Hes been treated like a joke since he came back. I don't care if they recently win the NXT tag titles , it doesn't make up for years of being treated like a joke
CM Punk couldn’t pull a 3 star match with anyone these days
Didn't know you were Meltzer.
@@skyatollah2skyharder276 You do realize Meltzer isn’t the only person that gives ratings, right?
@@brysonhamrick7523 ya there is also this guy name Nelson
CM Punk is going to shoot so hard on Logan Paul he’s going to get arrested by federal authorities.
Please worship the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, THE LORD GOD and try not to worry too much about the differences between the different religions and denominations, try to think about the similarities and the things they may have in common more than the differences. Daily prayer is a fundamental part that many people do not practice although it is encouraged
🙏🙏🙏
"CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, LORD GOD, I beg you to never force me to worship any false god and I ask you for forgiveness for my sins and immorality. Thank you for everything. Amen."

Please pray this now, pray the words as you read them if you cannot look and remember them

RUTHLESS AGGRESSION ERA. Most boring ERA ever
Oh PG was much worse
L bait
I Love The Golden Age Era, The New Generation Era, The Attitude Era And The Ruthless Aggression Era. But Most Of All I Love Hardcore Wrestling, TV14 And TVMA.
MVP can’t wrestle couldn’t wrestle and still can’t that’s why he’s a manager
open your eyes
Gunter is taking that championship from Cody
