Tim, Mike, Ivan, and Brian reunited for An Evening of Gold on February 7, 2012 in Palmetto, Florida. Watch as they perform one of Gold City's signature songs - John Saw.
Classic and classy. This is the level of singing that quartets try to achieve every night. You could put this quartet back on the road, I can only dream, and they could pick up right where they left off. One of the best, if not the best line ups tenor to bass ever. Thanks for sharing!
if this was marketed properly(I never heard about them doing this until I stumbled across this video) they could sell out MANY venues. These guys are one of THE best SG lineups EVER.
love this song based on Revelation 21 When Jesus returns All Things Made New The New Jerusalem The Glory of the New Jerusalem The River of Life The Time Is Near Jesus Testifies to the Churches A Warning I Am Coming Quickly Praise God forever!
This is my Favorite Group. Use to listen to them on a station out of Pennslyvania years ago. BRIAN has the most incredible voice of anyone I've ever heard. Awesome voice that God gave him
"DKrauter", there is no way this group could go back on the road. Ivan has lost so much vocally, can't you see him struggling? The other 3 are still tops.
Yeah, that’s why Ivan can still do well as a solo act. Quartet singing is very demanding. Many times your part will be out of natural comfy range because you have to be in the harmony blend. And when you have a tenor with Brian’s range and he is featured on a song, those songs can be brutal to a lead.
I know the crowd gets a kick out of this song, but as the one singing it, it’s got to be tiring and boring along the lines of Looking For A City. The music part has no transitions or change of pace. Good words but musically a horribly written song. Like an endless loop.

Ivan Parker was DYING on the ending... he hit the baritone part, then feebly tried to go up and hit his own part...
LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE VIDEOS, Thanks So Much For Sharing!!!
I meant to say Brian is tenor
They were absolutely the best!
Bless his heart, Ivan just can't get up there anymore. He sounds so flat.
they were the first ones i ever heard sing this song, it is one of my fav Quartet tunes
The best line up in Gold City history!! ❤

Wow that was fun! Was there anymore from this concert?! If so, please post it!
I I like Jeff & Sheri Easter’s version much better.
Can’t get any better than this! Amen!
Agreed. The other 3 are just as good, if not better, than they were in 1990. Ivan just can't hit the high notes like he used to.
Nice to see these guys settled their differences and got back together for this one-off. Such as horrible break up it was.
Wish I could have been there..

I think Brian Free, Jonathan Wilburn, Mike LeFevre and Tim Riley would make out the best Gold City Quartet..
Ivan's part is Baritone-Ivan is tenor-Mike is lead-Tim is Bass
Thank you sooooooo much for this video! My favorite EVER!!!
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day!

Can’t speak for others, but these were the fun songs to sing. Not a lot of thinking. Not a lot of challenge. Just open up and go.
