- The up-then-down ’08 Redskins pulled off a historic upset deep in the heart of Texas, defeating the previously unbeaten Cowboys, 26-24, in their final match-up at Texas Stadium. Washington topped Dallas for the fifth time in seven tries (It’s true! Haven’t seen THAT in a while!), with a dominant 17-point second quarter and plenty of second half ball hogging. Even so, the Cowboys almost rallied, but the pivotal on-side kick slipped through their fingers (much to the chagrin of Jerry Jones - please, enjoy that moment!)
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are on hand to call a Redskins win over Dallas for the fourth straight season.

This was the height of the Jim Zorn era. He had Jason Campbell at a pro bowl level the first 8 weeks of this season. Fun times and then the Steelers came into Fed Ex and ruined everything.
Yes!!!! Jim Zorn got the best out of Jason Campbell. He wasn't a good head coach...but as a QB coach....there were few better than Zorn.
@@zacchaeuswilson6116 I know people weren’t thrilled with Fassell, but he was the original hire until fans threw a fit and Dan canceled that. I honestly think 2008 the team wouldn’t have had the 2nd half collapse they did had they had a coach that players would have respected.
@Maggot-ml3vz . Yes.....the entire situation was botched up. Joe Gibbs' intentions were to have Gregg Williams succeed him.....but all the cleaning up Joe did.....Snyder messed it ALL up. And then hiring Zorn as OC...before you hire a head coach? Only a BUFOON does that...and it of course it was Dan Snyder. GOOD RIDDANCE to the entire Snyder empire.

Why did Zorn get away from the long passes? Things were going SO WELL when they threw the ball past the sticks.
I'm no Cowboys fan, but Romo definitely had some athleticism and skills... I'd feel bad for him if he wasn't a multi-millionaire married to a former Miss Missouri. I think Tony is going to be just fine... But I really do love his energy as an NFL announcer. Jim Nance drives me crazy... go back to golf.

This was another crash and burn year after an exciting 6 and 2 start. I believe Portis was around 900 yards halfway through the season and an MVP candidate before the crash.
Jason Campbell was an MVP candidate also....having not been intercepted at the halfway mark as well.
I've been a diehard skins fan since 1991 when I was 9 years old. However, that field goal around the 12:15 mark... How in the hell was that a good try? Lol

Zorn could of been a decent OC but why the heck did Snyder make him a HC?
Because the fanbase flipped out when Snyder was about to hire Jim Fassel.
