Do you have to run wire from positive terminal to headlight wiring for drl to work? For the g30 aftermarket headlight
Good question, this is what I found on their website:
When installing, use the wire harness to connect the two headlights to the positive terminal of the battery.
After the installation is completed, you need to close the engine cover and all doors, lock the car with the key and then unlock it again. Then the daytime running light will work.
The daytime running lights will not turn on until the turn signal flashes twice, because the daytime running lights require a double flash signal and cannot be turned on directly with the light switch.
If the daytime running lights do not go out, it is usually because the hood/door/trunk is not closed.

They look nice, but unfortunately, if LEDs gonna stop working, you can throw it to trash, not worth the price.
