I put electrical tape around the housing. Silicon seal is also good idea to avoid any condensation. Easy to install so save ur money and install ur self.

do you need to mess with the dust caps or anything to fit LEDs because i’m seriously sick of the headlights I have i’m about to get rid of them lmao
I have the caps off, they will not fit with big leds. I’ve had no issue over a year with them. Don’t need to worry about water or dust getting in

@@MatteoVlogs Very humid. the wires probably would most likely get soaking wet lmao but I’m going to run mines with some aftermarket dust caps and just cut a small hole to run the canbus wiring through the back. Won’t hurt to try it🤷🏽♀️
Bit crude, fit a small incandescent bulb across any leds. The car is looking for continuity before start up. Or fit a relay, the car will see the coil as continuity.

The h7s he has listed are fog lights, make sure to get a better pair with a bigger fan. The small h7s listed actually smoke when put in the low beam housing.

Thanks for the video and your genuine interest in helping everyone understand. What if you keep your daytime/ high beam bulbs in, but then use the "BC" button to code/turn off the daytime running lights? That way you won't get a code for a missing bulb and you still have high beams if you need. Hope this helps someone.
I have a Canadian car, that won’t work. Canadian cars must have a day time / high beam on at all times. That’s our day time lights.
Cause knowone is telling that they are not! Plug and play. The high beam hot wire is not in the right plug. You need to change the plug wires and add a relay plus a inline fuse. Real pain .

I had same headlights on mine e91 2009 and if i was switch only angel eyes there was no problem with high beam . But I didn’t install them on my old car that way im asking .

Hi Mateo good review! Im trying to figutr out how you ran these on a xenon car since theyre listed as halogen only. Were you able to reuse d1s bulbs or is that why you went h7 led? Trying to figure out how to onstall on my 07 335i thanks man. Also curious do you still have the car?
so I have the LCI version, with adaptive headlights module and xenon bulbs, i bought one of these and tried on, my high beam didn't work, car throwed an adaptive headlights code, I could code that off but i returned them anyways. MY takes on these are: In your case, it is good to purchase because your OEM were out, imo they looked a lot cheaper vs our OEM ones.

how do you remove the bulbs i went to take one off to replace a bulb that went out when i twisted the housing that covers the bulb and i just felt two wires do i pull those wires i was affraid i was gonna mess something up
From what I remember yes, you need to grab those silver wires and turn them either left or right and over

I bought these headlights with h7 and h1 leds. The only problem i have is that all the wiring and electrical that came with the led bulb dont fit inside the housing when u put the boot back on. How did u get by this?

I bought these love the way the look but don't know how to adjust low beam drivers side points at the ground and high beams only work if I hold them on also I get condensation when it rains or when I wash it anybody have any pointers on how to stop this

Anybody have issues with the passenger halo not working? My halo doesn’t work on the passenger side but when I plug it into the driver side headlight harness the halos come on no issue. No shorts in harness. Would they maybe need to be coded in? My passenger headlight was messed up for a while.

How has this held up so far? I've read reviews that the lights go out
Held up fine. Only thing I just started noticing was since it’s not oem fitment, I can see the bumper isn’t on as tight as stock, I see minor gaps between headlight and bumper. This is probably just mine tho, I may have not tightened screws enough / missing screws

I don’t have an adaptive headlight code. I just have codes for the led bulbs/lights

I bought these earlier but had an issue with the Highbeams, the daylight ran good as well as the Highbeams, but when wanting to use the Highbeams bright light, pushing forward on the left handle of the steering wheel didn’t activate the brighter light for the Highbeams, it didn’t do anything. Unlike with the stock versions it did. Is this something I loose when installing these new ones.? Please help I’d appreciate your feedback, thanks!

@@MatteoVlogs I wasn't able to close it either, and I got a condensation issue and some ants were inside too. Then I got use of that cone-like thing hanging around with s socket, it's diameter was perfectly fit for the low beam opening and its height was enough to contain an LED with a big heatsink too, so I drilled a hole in that thing and got the wire out, and use some silicone to hold them together.

If you get warning codes when installing led to your bmw let me know i can get this issue coded to your car without you having to install resistors and you should be fine. Everytime your car starts no flicker nor Errors, will work as if you had halogen but just brighter and better visibility in the night 💯💯 I have German software to fix this little issue 👍

They’ll come with bulbs . Easy to replace. I’d recommend replacing before install, it’ll be easier

Hey is there a way you can code the three amber squares at the top of the headlight to stay on with the high beams? In the states it’s required to have an amber marker light on with high beams but I don’t want the whole turn signal on. Essentially I was just wondering if the two (the three little squares and the turn signal) were separate lights.

Its because they dont have diesels. 😀😂 I think it will work fine. Of course, some issues can happen. Programming will solve all.
Fits on LCI and primarily Pre-LCI, I’ve read that the high beams won’t work on the LCI model

It is NOT plug and play. Hot wires not correct in connections for high beams to work!
