It's very location dependent, I was using the 95cm soft box for my a-roll, and the X100 definitely had enough power output to light me up with that soft box and it's great for indoors. But if you're shooting in a really bright room with lots of sunlight coming through the windows, you'll need something like 300, or even 600W.
Aside from the “tin can size” portability thing are they actual competetor for other brands? What I'm asking is Godox brought ML60 and aputure brought amaran 60D. These are actually meant as a portable but real replacement to wall plugged light... right? Does the 60 & 100 fit into these categories? Or should it be considered just a powerful pocket (extra) light like some photographers/videographers have light wands/rgb led panel?
I have been using the Promate 130W PD power bank with it. The most tricky thing was to find a USB-C Cable that is capable of delivering full 100W… I found some cables claim to be 100W but failed to deliver and the X100 only outputs 60W max power. If you dig around a bit you should find a decent 100W cable that will support X100 full power.
I have the X100 combo - brilliant light!!
These lights are so compact! Great for carrying them around! I might need to pick up one or two! And cool video as usual!
Yeah, they are super compact! Great to always have a few of these in a backpack. Thanks for watching. 🎥🔥
Dope Lights! Absolutely love the way you broke this down, super engaging and thoughtful. Production quality is insane
Thanks mate! Great lights to have in a backpack, never know when you’ll need some extra flare🔥🔥
Got a link for those stands?
Nice! Do you think the x100 will be able to power through a 120cm parabolic softbox for interviews?

Can anyone recommend a power bank with PD 100w to use with X100? Thanks.
