Not on the S9, it wouldn’t work well as the USB-C port is on the right hand grip side (port is only used for charging). S5IIX and GH7 does support SSD, which would be a best option if you need that kind of a feature. 👊🏻🎥

Thanks for checking out the tutorial! Awesome to see you also have both systems. The S9 is missing a settings that is on the S5II that allows you to control ISO on the front dial. I think this is because S9 only has 2 dials, so you can only change which dial controlls aperture and which dial controls shutter. From what I can see, the only way to control ISO is by pressing the ISO button and then using the dial.

Lumix should still allow this customization in my opinion. Maybe I’ll ask on the next Lumix Live stream.

Cool idea but S9 has the micro hdmi in the most awkward spot on the grip. I wished they made a hot shoe instead of a cold shoe and had an ability to add an additional EVF on top.

@@mmaneage86 My Helios is adapted to Canon EF mount (no brand adapter) and EF to L-Mount is from Sigma.

I'm sure you've figured it out already, but you be looking for a lens collar, lens mount, tripod mount, whatever they call it. It's to shift the center of balance of the setup bc the lens is too heavy for it to be mounted directly to the camera

Still need to crop it a bit to get it to 16:9 but a lot less than when shooting on 16:9 sensor.

Yeah I actually would be really happy with a constant aperture but slightly tighter focal length as well 👊🏻

Haven’t had a chance to use them yet, but from all I’ve seen they look like fantastic lenses to pair with the S9. If I find some on the used market I’ll definitely get one.

That’s super exciting! I would say it’s kind of pocketable. Big pockets, and jacket pockets can definitely fit the S9 with the 28mm Brighton Star or the 26mm LUMIX lens. The 18-40 I haven’t tried yet, will be a bit harder but with big jacket pockets it should be possible hahah - I just use a clip on my belt, makes it quick and easy to grab the camera as well.

Hey check out my latest video on the 18-40, I got into detail about it and I can definitely recommend that as an overall travel lens. For night photography and bokeh, the Voigtlander 35mm f1.5 and for long range shooting 28-200, with hybrid zoom function it’s a tiny beast!

Usually you can just press and hold on any button to change its function. But with the 🔴 rec button you’ll need to go into the settings - operation menu - Fn Button Set - Settings in Rec mode - and choose the record button from the menu, scroll down to photo styles and choose the one you like!

Hey not really. If you’re shooting music videos you only need to roll for 5 minutes at a time max, and for music videos you only need a scratch mic. - this is just one example of people that wouldn’t need those features. By the way, check out my new video - lumix has just updated the S9 and removed the recording limitations and added some cool new features!

Yup you got it! 35mm Voigtlander f1.5 with TTArtisan adapter. 🎬👍 So far my favourite combo for the s9

Totally, its a lot easier to take with you than the S5II and especially if you pair it with small lenses. I always took my S5IIX with me on trips, and just recently the S5IIX stayed at home and only had S9 with me, really great for travel / fam doco.
