Very interesting and wonderful to see a purely manual method being shown, I'll look up the Tally Ho project that you refer to for some context also. I was wondering whether you considered putting the board up on a wall and projecting the 110% size plans over it? I loved how you did the curves with the bendy wood!
I don't really have the means to do that and the issue with just blowing the drawing up is the definition. As the drawing gets larger the lines get thicker and your resolution goes down dramatically. It's just not accurate enough. On the actual full scale drawing, the lines are virtually the same thickness as on the printout. Thanks for watching!
Now that you are happy with your pencil drawings and unhappy they smear. DYKEM and others make paint markers. Wrecking yards use them. Google or Amazon search fot DYKEM PAINT MARKER You can spray a clear coat over them to protect them. Multiple colors, one for each view and or each rib on the drawing. Stay hydrated!
I thought about using a paint marker, even the metal tipped kind. However, one of the many other benefits of pencil is that it is easily removed and redone to perfect the lines. I used a whole lot of eraser getting the plan where I wanted it. It also doesn't have a drying time like paint. Thanks for the suggestion, however, and thanks for watching!
@@zwickauracingworks I have many more.. I commented on one of your other videos I am a couple months away from starting a similar build. Not as authentic as yours looks like it will be. I have a lot ideas in my head, very few on paper. If you would like to pick my brain, contact me darkcoballt@gmail.com I am not claiming better ideas, just how I think it can be done. Once doing it, I'll find out how crazy I was/am.

Hi Jeremy,
Great drawing but did you not consider having the plans printed on vinyl as decal?
All the best
Andrew

Want a boat not a car
You can use the same tech to build any boat you can get plans for.
