STT are amazing! Their lead singer, Phil Freeman, has a 3+ octave range and the whole band is wildly talented. Try their original song, "The Man," please. Such a great song and fun video. :) (And I kmow it's after Christmas now, but you can really hear that crazy range in "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch." I guarantee you've not heard it sound like theirs ... a little bluesy, a lot rock, a little metal. I use it as my ringtone throughout the year; it's seasonless the way they do it. Welcome to your new addiction. Lol

Something about three piece bands allows us to hyper focus on the talents even more. Acoustic guitars in harmony on "Tiny Dancer" further allows the other aspect of a three piece to shine- how the guys are locked in on each others timing.

Not only are they great musicians, but some of the best guys you will ever meet if you ever have a chance to meet them! Me and my son went to see them when they were in Roanoke VA just a few months after my fiance passed away (I am still using my fiance's UA-cam). My fiance Jerry loved them, and I wish he could have seen them. But these guys talked with me after the show and listened to my story. They also walked out to my truck with us and signed both of my bass guitars ❤

Never heard of these guys... but damn, that guy can sing! Shit! I'm willing to bet there weren't hardly any edits on his voice. I could easily believe he sounds like that in person, just going off his facial expressions. Cool videos too

Their cover of Folsom Prison Blues is EPIC! I have never seen anyone react to that one - so major props to you and your patron requestor.
Definitely jump into some of their original stuff too. "The Man" is a great start for a cool song and epic video. If you want to see the guys in the studio tearing it up, check out the video for "Rowdy & Reckless" (Live at Think-Loud Studios)

One of the most underrated groups around. And Phil singing is a school music teacher and vocal coach. He wrote a song named "Dragonfly" after his mom lost a years long health battle that is moving. You'll notice in some videos he has a Dragonfly tattoo on his forearm.
Their song Pops gets me all emotional.
And "hallelujah" small town titans.

Phil does have a pretty amazing voice. To credit the band as a whole, it is very talented to take songs and change them enough to keep them interesting without losing the feel of the original.
That said, check out Tyler Childers. Crazy good vocals. It is a bit different from most of your reactions, but he is amazing. This is coming from a guy(me) who really has no like for country style music. More Appalachia roots to it I guess. The live sessions are the best
