    Thanks man! Gonna give this a try. We spent $600 on the repairman who replaced what seemed like a million things and it never fixed the issue. Same error code you have in the video.

    I've had this washer & dryer set for 9 years now. I did get the extended warranty. The warranty expired this year. The washer has been completely rebuilt twice, every part replaced just about, and yet the problems still persist. I found out on GE's website that this machine is no longer being manufactured...no surprise there. The replaced parts all looked like the machine was used in a commercial setting. but is was not. The shocks and other cheap steel components were almost completed rusted through, like the entire unit was being used in a outdoor area. They took the time to make the drum stainless, why not the rest of the machine? The smaller parts are probably made in China.
    The dryer on the other hand, had performed very well. No real issues until recently. The roller bearings are starting to get noisy, so I will order a set once i confirm the problem. The dryer use to automatically stop the machine when it sensed that the clothes were dry. That no longer functions. We now set the machine at a standard drying time based on the load. I really can't complain too much, but I did spend alot of money on this set. Never again GE...never again. I'd rather buy a set for under $1000 and replace it every few years.

    I had a similar issue. Error code 30. Which is pump related. It was stuck in drain cycle. That was not the issue. I Replaced the water level switch, to no avail. So I began the test sequence from t'01 and ran all of them individually to t'12. I didn't do t13. After which I reset the unit and ran an empty load to see if I'd get error 30 again. I did not. I don't know what exactly reset itself or from which test. I suspect the filler tray because it's indicator was between 3-4 before I ran the test. After the test it rested at 1. Anyway. I have an extra level switch and a working washing machine. Thanks man.

    That hose is connected to the Pressure Switch. You can replace it with clear plastic hose and just zip tie the ends...

    My washer is getting stuck on 29 remaining minutes in order to get it going I have to manually set the timer knob to drain and spin or push the pause/start button..what do u suggest the problem might be ..I've checked the drain holes and it's clean I have checked the water pump filter as well.evry other function is operating well but the timer is the only issue because it goes down to 24 minutes and automatically goes back to 29 minutes over and over again

      Cristina Cuéllar Hi there!!! Cristina did you check the drain pump housing!!! It may be blocked with something, if there is a little cover on the right side bottom, you can open it and unscrew the plug there, do it little by little because if you take it all way out, you going to have a flood, it’s a lot of water in there, good luck 👍🍺🍺Cheers.

      I read an article that said some models you unplug the washer for 30 seconds, plug back in and within 30 seconds of doing so you push SIGNAL > EXTRA RINSE > SIGNAL > EXTRA RINSE instead of what he shows in this video. Hope this helps (:

    Hey Eddie, I'm having an issue on the same model washer as this and it seems hard to find info on, but it quit in mid cycle, power out and no lights. There is still power at the plug so I'm assuming it could be a fuse in the washer, but after a quick look at the control board I am yet to find a fuse to check. Would you happen to know if and where there may be a fuse in these models? Thanks!

    • @Fasteddiesinhomerepair
      @Fasteddiesinhomerepair  3 роки тому

      if there is a fuse it would be on the main power board past that i would use the tech manual and a dvom to test voltage as listed

    Next issue: The fabric softener dispenser doesn't drain properly, or stays full of water, or a mix of both water & softener. The entire tray has been replaced 3 times. The plastic cover has been replaced 4 times. Many times it just overflows and runs down the front of the machine. The only fix was to stop using fabric softener and switch to dryer sheets. I would like to fix this problem. Thank you.

    I have a GE Front Loader Model GFWR4805F0MC, that also likes to stop mid cycle. I will check the pump housing first before I continue rambling on about this poorly designed machine.

    • @jimrojas62
      @jimrojas62 5 років тому

      Ok. I found a leaf inside my drain pump housing. I am doing another load now, lets see what happens.

    • @jimrojas62
      @jimrojas62 5 років тому

      The washer now pauses at 37 min during a normal wash cycle. I restarted it. It started to drain at 35 minutes. Good news is the machine is not pausing numerous times like before. I believe it was doing it 3 times per load. Does anyone have any other ideas what I can look for?

    • @jimrojas62
      @jimrojas62 5 років тому +1

      It appears the washer is now only pausing once right before the first drain cycle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
