Hello my AMS friends! I'm back with another playthrough video featuring The House of the Dead for the SEGA Model 2 arcade board. I figured that I should upload this gameplay since I'm currently recording footage for my next SEGA Lores videos coming up just in time to prepare for the release of The House of the Dead Remake for Nintendo Switch. I'm still a little rusty but happy to manage to get the good ending without rescuing every DBR Researcher,

that scientist's "OH NO" at 0:10 is so iconic it needs to be in a hall of fame somewhere
it really is .ps HE HAS PLENTY OF ROOM TO RUN AWAY

Saammee, if the player is within his range he'd come charging us after throwing his axes. But if we're like on the other side of a pool or somewhere far he'd just go away like he's about to get lunch 😅😂😂😂
What I find interesting about G's ending (23:46).
It actually shows you the beautiful blue sky with the sun and hills as he says "mission accomplished"
Unlike Rogan's Ending where we don't see it and how we only see Rogan's back when walking away and he stops to turn and say "goodbye Curien" unlike G where he gives a lazy wave.
Both endings to me convey something different Rogan's is more confused and somber giving that I've won but at what cost? or is it really over?. G's is more calm, laid-back, and smug like it's over now let's go home or you finally did it time to leave.
I wonder what kind of gesture and one-liner G would have said had he had his the Overkill personality
@@JV-km9xk probably still the same, G in overkill is only on edge because he has washington dropping all the f bombs and it probably gets on his nerves
Maybe that's all is an impact of the things that he went through (like the events of THOTD:Overkill or possibly the other events about which we don't know that much).
G's mission failed in the sequel as he got overrun by the creatures in Venice. So they contacted James and Gary to investigate the city. The duo saw G and says that Harry and Amy are going to back them up for investigation. However, Harry met the same fate as G by Strength but both G and Harry survived according to Rogan.
It was told once that Agent G was an android. But it was just a determined Agent with his missions.
I love that character
It's good to see player 2 gets his time to shine
I loved HOD 3 but I hated that in the Wheel of Fate fight he is replaced by Daniel Curien. Lisa and G should have finished it instead!

How do you actually avoid that happening?
@@DGneoseeker1 I think it might be an older system thing, possibly. I can’t really blame anyone on that it was just nice to not have the flash.
apparently theres a mod that disables the flash on emulators
He's playing it on emulator through egregiousguy's LUA script. If you try to do mod this on a real hardware, your game will not boot anymore.

Why does G's gun sound looks like a surpressed gun or like a water gun? Neither but G's gun sounds are very good!

Update: Man, I was right, definitely a worth it remake of this game! Now, of course it doesn't mean it's a perfect remake, not to mention nowhere near close to this first original classic. It could've had a better soundtrack, better graphics, etc. Though, it felt super fun to play, after I just bought it, not too long ago. Give it a try, forget what everyone bashed it for, it deserves more than to be mistook for a "garbage" remake.

Does difficulty affect score?.. I can't seem to get enough points to unlock the Canon Good Ending. I keep getting Bad End (Sophie Creature).
Difficulty effects how hits an enemy can take. Try to save as much researchers and score items as possible. Shooting Hangedman's head will also double up your score.
@@KoriMaruGamingSo does it affect score? I'll try Medium or Hard mode just to get the Canon ending since I've been using Easy Mode.
@@ralphcaluag2403 Killing/Letting Researchers die and being hit by an enemy affects your score.
@@KoriMaruGaming I see. I always attempt to rescue them. Sometimes, I'm not fast that one or two ends up dead.
Or sometimes I'm not fast enough to open hidden boxes (with Life Up or Bonuses)

player 2 always plays as G, you can start as either player.

If you have a M2 Emulator. You would need two mouses to play as G.

In m2emulator's ini file, set the "UseRawInput=1" from [Input] section

Canon she is dead.
Canonically, she is alive, because Lisa Rogan in THOTD 3 is the daughter of Rogan and Sophie
apart from that in the dialogues of installment 3, lisa, who is their daughter, says something like: if I don't bring it, mom will worry
Usually the canon ending is the good ending
