Omg Matthew (wow feeling close lol), I’ve loved your content since I discovered you a couple of years ago. Ink is one of my favorite Coldplay songs and I can’t believe you were part of it! What an amazing journey! Congratulations on your revamped space! Looking forward to seeing all the other details from you, knowing how mindful you are with everything you bring into your space.
Hey Reese, good to see you here. I've definitely lived a blessed life, able to pursue and explore so many things. (And it' just the beginning!) Keep creating ✌🏽
I came across your channel a few hours ago and here I am bingewatching on your playlist. And dang! You’re a Filipino. Proud kababayan here! Looking forward to more content.
Man! Such a sophisticated person you are! Makes me feel like a simpleton. I barely have time to work, eat and sleep; let alone find time to read books and add so much substance to my office.
Aww don’t feel bad. What I shared in here represents so much life I’ve lived and isn’t an “everyday” thing for me. Don’t compare my story to your own. I hope this can open up possibilities in your mind, rather than bring you down.
If you want those collectible comics to remain pristine, you have to include a humidity crystals in each pack, so they absorb any moisture from the air. When they change colour, just put them in a dry place till they change back then you can put them back in the plastic pack.
Just this week I was asked about my favorite Coldplay song, and to stumble upon the channel of someone who was part of it it’s amazing and random. I’m a beginner in this whole design and creativity game, so I find your account really inspiring. Thanks Matthew!
I'm Tan from Vietnam, I found your channel last week when going around on UA-cam. I'm really like your videos with multiple subject and it make me feel relaxing after working. I like your voice, can help me improve my listen skills in English. All of them thanks you for your videos.
woww! Matthew you are a perfectionist and really good in everything you do. Multi-talented artist. “Truly a master of all trades” 👏 Love your organizing & craftmanship too!! Everytime you post a video, you do blow all your fans’ mind 🤯 A huge inspiration to all the aspiring artists also to designers all over the world. Keep the videos coming! Considering all the struggles and hardships you had to grow through… (which you shared in one of ur earlier videos) … to reach to the point where you are.. you truly deserve it! 🙏🏻
Following your content now for over a year - and since then never miss to watch what you put out. It inspires me, gives me new impulses and motivates me - thank you for that 🙏
Every time I see one of your videos I get inspired to build my own office space, and listening to the way you talked about your books made me excited to get some of them and become inspired through them to get out and create.
Another awesome content from Matthew. I am really inspired and influenced by your work. I am an expert drafter and decided to learn graphic design, I started watching you from the Futur 3 years ago and it helped me a lot to grow. I had a lack of motivation since the pandemic hits and now I am starting to be motivated again because of your story. Keep it up and God bless. Love from the Philippines.
dude you need to start a interior design company ... start consulting and building man / lady tech caves ... your taste is simply amazing - be amazing if there was a hotel based on your design :) Be so popular!
Hello I'm French your video is always very interesting, thanks to you I manage to progress in English because I find that you express yourself extremely well. Continue your video they are really superb
Wow, it was more that what I had hoped for. Your bookshelf tour is above and beyond what I would normally see in YT booktube community. I love the cinematography, storytelling and just the whole vibe of it. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. It feels like I know you better after watching a few of your videos. 😊 Great contents.

Matthew, looking at your thought process through your videos. I think this is exactly what I dreamt of becoming when I was a kid. Thanks for making me remember what I had forgotten.
Love it! Would love to see a show on your cooking. I recently started cooking more after watching and rewatching your “Day in the life of a creative director”. It really does help me relax, refocus and take my time after a day of designing
Just looking at this video. I know Matthew and I would be friends in real life. As we pretty much like the same exact stuff, and have the same hobbies. Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only weirdo out there. Keep up the good work bro!
Thanks for sharing more about you! There are tons of nostalgia here that I can totally relate to, especially the morning cartoons. I’ll definitely have to check out some of the composition and story telling books recommendations!
Matthew thanks for your doses of inspiration you give in each of your videos, you make hitting that subscribe and bell icon totally worth it. Thanks for the work you do! Keep it up!
Wonderful video. As always. *Small Suggestion* - in our 7th story tree-house apartment, with a view of the river and the Gatineau Hills, we have our (almost) yearly Balcony Vegetable Patch. Modeled after the Victory Garden. Right now I'm starting to harvest a variety of herbs, cherry tomatoes, mixed greens, edible flowers and Italian radishes. What's still in development is the beans, snow peas, cucumber, zucchini, and squash. I do container gardening. With multiple plantings in each pot (except for smaller things like the herbs). Luxury, to me, is being able to walk outside to our small space (with seating for 4) and harvest things for the evening meal. If you ever want some suggestions or tips? - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown
I _love_ The War of Art. I was lucky enough to find an original printing (the silver cover had little square mirrors inserted into it - brilliant). So glad to see it's still in print.

I'd love a video on how to get into (industrial) design as an engineer/outsider. I'm a bioengineer currently exploring the fundamentals of design and I'd love to know who the masters are, what are the main philosophies, software used by different subsets of design, day in the life, etc. :))
Yes! I've been waiting for some great content this week. And as always your video drops in! This is enough to pull me over and push until end of the week. Then come weekends, I'll definitely organize my workspace and shelves. 🖤

This is a video of what many of them, (and I) envisioned themselves to be as a successful designer. Great vid and great home office.

We need more than one video per week. You make my day start with the right foot.
This is already a lot for me. Probably going to take a little break and slow down.
The Incredible Bongo Band! great taste mister! the same exact record that got me into vinyl collecting.

I love those little sound effects that you edited into this video, especially the page flipping sounds, so satisfying....
The page turns were natural sounds. The rest were supplemental.
