Many people misunderstand game to be a suite of gimmicky tactics or the Machiavellian manipulation of another. While these exist, this is not what game truly is. Game is the ability to effectively seduce, and play is the essence of game. Play is neither frivolous nor silly. It is the ability to create a separate reality that is only accessible to the initiated and in which the objects of play come to assume special significance. This is the heart and soul of seduction, and anyone who can do this well has game.

I grew up with a guy that was a natural at this. He consistently punched above his weight. He was always able to “play” with any girl through lighthearted jokes, banter, and touch, in a subtle and overt ways that made her feel desired. It’s timeless and very effective. Do you HAVE to be good looking to score with women if you have good game? No. But if you are, it's 10x more effective, and the women you score with will be MUCH more attractive on average. There's no ONE thing that any guy can do to get all the girls. But every quality can either help or hurt his chances. For instance, I'm 6'2, in great shape, and good looking, ESPECIALLY for a bald guy. But I have next to no game. I've got good one liners here and there, but I've never mastered the art of seduction. I still get laid. A LOT. Many times with very pretty (but problematic) women. I get laid more than most guys I know who are short and average looking with great game. If they looked like me, I probably wouldn't get laid because they'd get every woman every time. If I had their level of game, no one else around me would be getting laid. There's so much that goes into it
Women have it so easy. Don't let yourself get fat, and be easy going with a guy. And don't be a hoe. Boom, 95% of men want to marry you. Too bad most women can't get those 3 things right.

The big thing is your frame (do you know what I’m saying by frame?). You want to have a world she can walk into and play her apart in the scene.
Liquor helps if short term. I don’t drink but not against them drinking… 🙄🎶🎵
Take some time to get to know them. You should be evaluating them to see if there is potential, or if there is enough there for a challenge/intrest. Because; they are, evaluating you.
I will say be selective in relationships, you don’t know how long they will last. As your standards go up your eligible dating pool shrinks.

I like the fact that it contrasts with the shirt worn in the pitch for the book. I've already bought the book and read it cover to cover, so I feel justified in fast-forwarding through the pitch. And by the way, I don't usually pay so much for a paperback, but this one was worth it. I didn't agree with everything in it, but I could see the author had put in a lot of effort thinking about his assertions, and it was clearly well-reasoned. So even after reading it, I would still say it's thought-provoking. And for the places where I disagreed with the author's assertions, I've found them all testable hypotheses. That's given me a chance to have some fun observing people (and myself) through lenses I don't typically use. If I always have the portrait lens on the camera, I miss a few things I might get with the fisheye.

That was a fantastic perspective. I have spent the last few years of my life investing my social life in warm communities where it feels like a "village" of sorts (where everyone knows everyone and through different connections too). The guys thriving with women in such warm communities can be better understood through the perspective of this episode rather than the lenses of the red pill alpha male. It's more sustainable. More sincere. It works much better in warmer circles where you tend to build a reputation for yourself that lives in the hivemind (especially in the women hivemind as they're master gossipers compared to us men who are lousy gossipers by comparison). Women in such tight-net social circles collectively fall most for the guys that make them feel special (AKA, seen the way they want to be seen, as Orion explained), more than anything else. That was a great take.

    • @transforgoku
      @transforgoku Місяць тому +6

I realized this early on in my life, women are truly slaves to the hivemind and when they rebel or forsake it to gain independence from it they cannot avoid suffering the consequences of doing so (isolation, being outcasted, anxiety, depression, fomo, mental stress, paranoia, fear of being assaulted/exploited, bullying, etc.) since the hivemind functions both as a safety net and a ruthless overlord inside/outside them, for any man that wants a particular woman you first must *seduce the hivemind* in order to get her, and the only way to do so is with good reputation and charm, otherwise your only prospects will be the outcasts or trying with a different hivemind/social circle.
A good thing that happens in our modern society is that because we live mostly in cities surrounded by a lot a strangers instead of villages with few people, including the rise in secularity, technology and the internet have weakened the hivemind, making it more fragmented and less influential than a few decades ago so we, the men of this generation can enjoy casual sex, premarital sex, having rosters, side pieces, ONS, etc. without having to commit to a particular woman and without the approval of their peers, parents or belief system, of course it has also made the current date scene/sexual marketplace a complete chaos but that's a tricky subject I'm too lazy to discuss...

This is great advice, really. I exchanged some comments with an attractive mature female youtuber and she insisted a lot on how she needed to feel "chosen" by the man, not like a random piece of meat. So, she goes on how she wants men to care about stuff males don't care about when choosing a partner. She wants to be seen in a certain way. She doesn't care about how men really are or what do men want, she just cares about them playing the fantasy she has or you don't get play time. Period.
So, what do I think overall? It's all so tiresome. I don't want to be fake and I don't want to be "loved" for being fake either. I don't want to be involved. Any young woman has tens or hundreds of online men already telling her what she wants to hear, trying to play. Why would I want to do the same, when I don't even feel like it?
Get fit, get money, dress well, drive a nice car... just improove, bro. After that, just play pretend and never ever be yourself... and then, maybe you can create a family, but you won't ever be loved, it's just the resources you provide and/or your fake self.
I wonder why men are leaving society in droves (delf-deletion, leaving the workforce, leaving university, not dating, self-isolation, drugs, videogames...). Maybe... this whole "gameplay" feels more like an existential torture for men today?

One has to feel competent in control over one’s own life and life’s choices. You can’t possibly enjoy seduction if you are victim minded. And it helps to believe in the goodness of others.

      @@Chud-mb7gl Challenge accepted!
      1. We are in constant pain due to anxiety of not knowing what's next. This is existential dread (hint: it's the fear of death in disguise).
      2. We want to fill that void with predictive models. To gaslight ourselves into certainty by playing pretend games because the only reality is what is happening in the present moment.
      3. Thus, we all start our day in an emotional debt. (Dr. Orion Taraban's views are strongly influenced by behavioral economics which means thought/feelings/actions act like money)
      4. So, if everyone is in debt, that means women are in debt too. They want various currencies from men in an attempt to pay off this debt. Currencies that bring a sense of certainty like wealth, status, physical attractiveness, etc. All of these currencies are exchanged based on the stories they contribute to, the ideas in women's heads regarding what they believe will relieve them of their emotional debt.
      5. So they want to be paid in physically tangible currencies, but our ability to earn/have those currencies are limited by their tangibility. Things like our genetics, our upbringing, environment, circumstances, obey the laws of physics. Even if you can control them, they still take time and energy.
      6. Then someone comes along and invents seduction. Seduction is so effective because it goes straight to the source and costs almost nothing: stories. All of the things women believe they want are just promises that a good enough story replaces the emptiness in their hearts.
      7. To tell the right story, you need to know your audience. Hence compassion and empathy are the tools with the highest ROI and a relatively low physical cost. According to some perspectives, our hearts have an infinite capacity for compassion and empathy.
      8. To liberate another human from existential dread is one of the greatest gifts you can give. Afterwards, if you want to barter for a blowjob in exchange, the price is likely miniscule in comparison.

The example you gave of play when it came to adults is not actually play. You can describe that as being uplifting. Being uplifting to people is something literally everyone enjoys and its a good thing. Although, you don't have to appeal to some hidden fantasy of themselves in order for uplifting to feel good to a person.
Third, overall, have fun and don't take yourself too seriously and don't take offense easily. The only way you can do this is by having a humble attitude and being able to reflect on your own behavior once in a while. You can in fact be genuinely playful and uplifting to people without intent to use them or seduce them. That just being part of your personality just makes you more likable by everyone. Your uplifting words and playfulness should always be honest and genuine. Not used to get what you want. If you're genuine, you'll find that actually getting what you want will come easily without too much effort or gaming anyone. This is also how you find that special romantic prospect and have it last.

For all the guys, which I’d imagine is the majority of people watching this: Learn to dance.
That’s often a biiiig advantage for The Game™️.
I hate dancing with a passion, and am about as far removed from “good at it” as Satan is from the Gates of Heaven.
That said, a ton of women loooooove it, and love the fact that you’re even trying. Most human language and communication, like other animals, is actually nonverbal. Dancing is a great way to have entire conversations, and even possibly get laid, without saying a single word.

    I need to rewatch this
    edit after rewatching:
There is a psychologist's joke going "What is the most surefire sign that a marriage will be divorced? One of the spouses takes therapy." This video kind of shows why. If psychology currently teaches us You are not what you think you are - meaning, you can change the circumstances of your life without any real effect on yourself - then all long-term commitments are doomed.
That is why I fundamentally disagree. You do what you do because there is part of your soul in it. Otherwise you can't create. Casanova played every woman, but died alone. It is not play, it is playfulness that is needed.
