Cant stop binge watching his videos at bedtime, the crackling fire, the cooking, the nature sounds and im off to bedford before the video even finishes….dont ever stop making these andy 😊
I missed your funny sense of humour in this one. Your personality is probably what I love the most! In all it was a very relaxing video to watch. Just love your videos Andy.
I don’t know how this popped up on my feed, and I don’t know why I watched it- but I am glad that I did. No chatter, no nerve wracking background music, no obnoxious flashing lights or jump-cuts…just simply a man in his element, doing his thing in nature. I dig this. It’s cool to see and hear the experience of the English woods, even though I’ll never be able to visit them.
Same! I'm so tired of beautiful videos ruined by someone's idea of music. I often hate the music they've chosen and would rather hear the forest or waterfall, etc.
I've seen a lot of your newer videos, and I really enjoy your commentary. But seeing this really made me feel like I was present in the moment. So chill. Love your channel.
Kent! Hi, I know this video is from a year ago but I wanted to comment & tell you I just literally came across your UA-cam channel this morning and I have been really enjoying the content you create. Usually I am one who enjoys to watch people play fortnite etc.. But lately I haven't been able to stop watching this bushcraft camping type videos! So thank you!! Gained a new Subscriber (:
I so appreciate your skills, the photography, the bushcraft, the cooking…. You are a talented man. Thanks for sharing your talents. P.S. I enjoy the quiet videos as much as the talking ones. I intermix them as I watch
You’re a braver man than I Gunga Din. Apart from the crawling bugs did you actually get any sleep, no pillow. You eat well though and interesting food too. Missed your voice I like it when you talk about stuff. A fan.
Unlike most on here it seems, im Not a fan of the silent treatment. I like to watch not Only for the camping, cooking and eating, but because of your personality, your wit and the banter you have about the camping, cooking and all.
Found this one enjoyable for the sounds of silence, was nice change. Your camera work was great. The candle going out was sublime. Thanks for another enjoyable and informative time.
Andy, as a photographer, I must say you have really stepped up your photography and videography skills. This was a great video. One of my favorites of yours. It told a great story. Highlights for me was when the candle burned out to the sounds of the night. The chopping of wood to the echo of the woodlands. The popping of the fire as you were telling your story. Nice job. I truly enjoyed this video.
The dedication of the film maker - watching you get inside that log knowing you have to get back out to switch off the camera and get back in again only to have to get out in the morning, switch the camera on, get back in just to film getting out. Just letting you know it is all appreciated.
I liked the way the night ended as the last bit of candle flame guttered out. It was a good effect. Also watching you getting into that tree was crazy :)
That one candle while you were cooking was brilliant. It was such a beautiful picture. Reminded me of a masterpiece oil painting. Your photograph is always beautiful. You have a real knack.
I am a poor farmer with difficult circumstances in the countryside of Vietnam, I hope my friends from the other side will support me to have money to buy milk for my children, please. @

So enjoyable to watch from start to finish. I would love to live this way as I can imagine the stress levels wound come right down in these environments. Thanks for sharing Andy.
Just found your channel recently. I love this style of video and have watched so many of your videos this last week. I particularly love how you make camping with minimal equipment, using what nature provides so enjoyable rather than the ones that see it as a fight to survive!

I don't know why. But seeing you looking out of that log. Gave me fits of laughter. Thanks for that. I'm glad it was a solo over nighter. You really couldn't share your log. Great video.
I've just recently done this, And I can say that the amount of bites I got from, not just one creepy crawling thing, but several. It's warm and dandy once your in there, but wait till morning and your legs and feet are infested 😢 And i had a massive fire going, with a small little smoke fire for deterring the bugs away.
I have been watching a lot of videos starting out new and going to the older ones these last few months. Never expected a silent video! Great video though!
Awsome bro. Good job. Yull be just fine when Shtf. People like you and me knows what's eventually going to happen. Me and my son head out every hunting seasons and survive the hard way that some can't. All we take with us is a fixed blade knife. 50ft para cord. Steel canteen and ferrow rod. We fish and hunt for what ever season it is. Awsome video thanks for sharing
My wife and I love watching you camping. We just watched this one from a year ago and we're surprised that you didn't talk LoL is that the way you used to do your video 😂😂😂. Anyway again love your camping videos.
I particularly enjoyed the bit where you were carrying the freshly harvested wood back to the hollow log "without your saw"!!! As ever though, a marvelous and inspiring video. Thank you Andy.
Another interesting and innovative use of a hollow log as a natural shelter. Removing the slinters at the entrance to the log hollow would reduce the potential of injury. Many thanks for the video. God bless.
As much I love hearing you talk and I think you're a lovable chap, I really appreciate videos like this thrown in once in a while. It's a very immersive experience and it makes me feel like I was there. Cheers bud. Another great video in the books.

Respect and appreciation for the clip of you climbing in to the log and getting settled as we all know you then had to come back out again to see to the camera ... and then, of course, we have you emerging from your cocoon in the morning lol... Well done that man!

His videos are SO relaxing. Even the “talkies”. I like the ones that he goes with a friend.
Andy giving us the silent treatment! This does have a much different vibe, still as relaxing and entertaining. Thanks for sharing
A superbly cooked dinner before a sleep in a log…..Andy, you’re like a civilised hedgehog…..brilliant…..you’re a joy to watch ❤
Lol that made me laugh
Kept wondering how he was going to get into the tree and did it bother him that most coffins are bigger?
Beautifully shot and edited. No dialogue at all, just the sights and sounds of nature. Superb.
That log is freshly cut and cleaned out. Complete with a little top air vent. Love it.
I love this type of silent video without talking or any type of music. This is so therapeutic😍

Yes, the candle had me applauding 👏
Theres something soothing about building a fire and listening to the crackle of the burning wood you just chopped. Thank you
I don't think I'd want to risk this for the thought of loads of woodlice & other creepy crawlies walking all over me in the night!
The heat from the fire would deter most smaller insects.
