Two person kit. One carry the original adventure kit for drinks... the other carry this for food. Wow!
This is what I do and it is perfect. If I need more, I take the larger 1.5 or pot. Definitely more useful than the USGI Vietnam mess kit (unless I need a frying pan).
Just ordered one 😉 cant wait to have it at home. I LOVE STANLEY QUALITY!
GREETINGS FROM NÜRNBERG, BAVARIA!
UPDATE:
Bought this cookset and ABSOLUTELY 💯 LOVE IT!
Perfect size day day tripping, hikes, kayaking, tent/van camping, etc. I use it for kayaking everytime I go out, especially when all-day fishing. I'll be buying another one like it as a backup for Vespa Scooter camping too. I now own every cook kit STANLEY makes, so saying this is my new favorite is really praising it a lot!
love 💘 😻 my STANLEY COOKWARE.
Stanley knocked it out of the park with this one! Great "Goldilocks" size kit!
Yes, and now they just need to update the lid on their Adventure cup set like the lid on this one.
Nice kit.
I am pretty sure that when my wife sees it, I will be buying one.
I bought the Stanley Pro. It comes with two huge pots, a frying pan and lid. The Pro Set is designed for a base camp and for up to 8 servings per smaller pot, 8-12 on the biggest one.
The smaller pot in the Pro Set is bigger than the biggest larger one on the this set advertised. So if you wanting a superior cooking set that is thought out and large, the Stanley Pro is for you.
You will not regret buying this system
Looks a lot better than trying to cook in the one man pot. Thank you for the review, George. Stay safe and stay cool.
That’s a great deal. I have the original little cook set in a Maxpedition Versipack that I keep in my pickup. This would make a great addition to my cook set.
I just bought this a couple days ago (got it for $20 at target) and used it yesterday on a small gas stove. It worked as expected, nothing stuck or burned, easy cleanup. I definitely recommend it for easy one-pot recipes.
Thanks for saving us $5!! How heavy are the bowls?
@@onlyinparadise4613 The bowls are not heavy at all. I don't know the exact weight but they probably weigh as much as a standard plastic tupperware container. They are very sturdy too, wont be blown away by the wind and rinsed off easy in the river. (:
@@jacqueline1628 Thanks for your reply. The bowls don’t look too heavy like the infamous green cups from the Stanley 2 cup cook set. Most people end up using only one green cup or leave both behind because of the weight.
I got mine on eBay for $15!! 🤩👍🏼🥳😊
This looks great, and they got the lid right!!! It goes on my to get list ti replace the older one
i think that’s silicone, not rubber in the cover handle. silicone has high heat tolerance unlike rubber. there are even silicone made cups to use in ovens to make cupcakes. i have the stanley base camp cook set for 4. i like their products…
Yano that size is about perfect for a winter kit, you need a big pot for melting snow.
I have the older one, love it. Sometimes in the morning I make my coffee in it over a wood shaving fire outside.
Thank you, George.
It's excellent, I just bought this one and previously bought the one and a half liter version
This is the kit I've been looking for! Need something for two people for bikepacking. This is exactly what we need.
full kit there that covers everything. as you said, it is nice to have everything all in one
I love the Ready Hour dehydrated meals and I use same cook set. I enjoy your tips and mods.
Been backpacking for years now, this is the perfect size for a one person kit. One bowl right side up, one fuel cannister upside down, pocket stove, scrubby, Bic lighter, and a wash cloth. Perfect size for cooking those Knorrs Pasta Sides and you want add something to it. They must be popular, everybody is out of stock. Found mine online at Target.
I bought that set last month..love it. Great Video.
I’m addicted to the Stanley cook sets. I enjoy your channel. Take care.
The Walmart in my area had these yesterday for $12.99! I think I should have grabbed one! Great video Thank you.
I want this! I was looking at the "Two bowl cook set" and was thinking I like that pot, but don't care for the extras. I like this pot even better.
Very nice. Excited for my Bluetti kit coming in next week, especially after the terrible experience with Jackery. Still need a camp stove but I did buy the Ecozoom Versa which is awesome. Nice kit!
Thanks for the Link Bucko!
Great Stuff Buddy, Thanks Man & as Always, Blessings from Oregon Pal! ... Mike.
Great looking set. I may have to pk one up
Nice. It seems perfect
Just picked up 4 from Walmart. $10 each! Could not pass them up! Stanley makes great stuff indeed!
Great video! Cool cook set!
Thank you 🤗
Thank you for the video.
You have sold me on the safety of a gas stove in the house. I will be buying one. I already have this cook set as well as several other stanleys.
This is really very cool
Good review , thanks for sharing , God bless !
Love the set❤..May pick it up to match the cup set..Great review brother 💪🇺🇸
I don't care how cool those ultra-light (oh I only spent $3000 on my load out) folks THINK they are, thay don't even come close to COOL if they don't have at least one piece of Stanley cooking gear. I use my green cup EVERYDAY n my Stanley cook set even at home. Thanks for the heads up on this new Stanley product. Stay safe, Be Blessed my Friend.
I like that this pot is slightly smaller in diameter, but slightly higher than the slightly larger Stanley pot set with the bowls, ladel, and spatula.
If your not worried about weight like I am they are perfect and reasonable prices. I love my old small one. Used a lot of times. I solo mostly so it's big enough.
I have 2 stanley cups..and a pathfinder bushpot. Only thing I see I really like better about your stanley set is the markings on the side. Wish the bushpot had markings but cool set anyway
Love my Stanley green thermos flask ...bulit like a tank and keeps drinks hot for 24 hours
Love it!
That cook set looks really nice and the price tag are not that bad either.
Stanley is apparently moving away from the slanted bottom corners as well as fixing the lid lifter. For a long while the slanted corner seemed to define the brand. If they make a gen 2 of the Adventure Camp Cook Set chances are it won't have the slant or the plastic lifter.
That would be great to take with ice fishing for cooking up some food.
Ótimo vídeo Parabéns 👍
I like your vids i just subbed 👍 you do a good job on breaking down the info 👍
Good size to hold a 250g butane can, the bowl(s) and a BRS stove.
I have a pot that size from noname with a side folding handle...but if i lose it, ill buy this for $20.
It is more useful than the $16 skinny boiling pot, as that is easily trumped by a coffee can (free and lighter) with a faster boil.
Got one if thies sets for Xmas last year
It looks like you could also fit the brs 3000t on the side of those bowls in there. You could take your whole cook needs. Definitely hope to see that in Wally World soon.
Target has them for $20
Looks great, I’m sure the modifications have begun and will soon be on UA-cam !
We shall see! lol
I like this one.
I just got one today and of course I know I'm gonna like it but today at Walmart the cost was $19.98...now that's good news.
Dang 25 bucks! Now that is nice! Thanks for the review, even if you are costing me money lol.
Cool i have the original and the one that came with a ladle and spatula I'll have to see which is bigger i want it big enough to cook a box of Mac and cheese.
Jujitsu UA-camr shows this nests inside the 4 person cookset. And I’m curious if they both then would nest inside a 16cm zebra Billy pot? Which would offer bail, oven campfire cooking in a compact 3 set.
Me likee! I have the 2 person set with the bowls and ladle/spatula. Think I’ll have to get one.
Nice set for one up from the trave set.
When will it be on your site
As always, informative video, thanks. Just hard to buy or even order one in Canada.
Just picked one up today at Walmart for under $20.
Very nice kit! What little stove is that?
In Amazon don't have this, have the version of 1,5 liter I spected this aerive
This wider pot is so much easier to use than the narrower pot from the cup set.
The narrow pot is bested by a 12oz coffee can recycled...which is free, lighter, faster boil, and sealable.
Is there a possibility of nesting the [cookset for 2] with a bigger size GSI stainless ,to accommodate the next bigger size canister?
I wish the Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set had a square bottom instead of the semi-rounded bottom.
Wish it had a spout. But this could replace my old rectangular french mess kit. Might not pack as nicely, but a quart, stainless, and the design is pretty much idiot proof. I think I'll need one for general camping and to use with my emergency kit when hunting.
Pliers, elbow grease, and a minute or two and you'd have a spout.
Does the larger Coleman fuel canister that you cooked with fit inside the pot? It's easier to find that size than the smaller ones.
looks like you could use that cardboard as a template for a diy cutting board to go in that cookset
I'm LATE to the party. JUST NOW SEEING THIS ONE.
Looks to be a perfect size for 2 people for any day trip. I'm wondering if the diameter of that set would work nicely on the pot stand of the Trangia 28T Mini Alcohol stove kit? The famous STANLEY 2CUP (Green cups) was always too small in its diameter. That one, however, looks just enough larger to be a great fit ... HAVE YOU TRIED IT ON THE MINI YET? Would love for you to do an updated video using it on the Mini with the Mini's pot stand. I'm thinking that new STANLEY Cook Kit, the Trangia 28T Mini Cook Kit and the STANLEY Adventure 2CUPS is a complete Weekender's kitchen for Kayak Camping/Kayak Fishing overnights. Super STOKED about it and about that possibly. Please try it and do a quick video, maybe a full-on "Breakfast In A Bowl" or "Jazzed Up Ramen" style video!
If you "Season" a pot or pan with olive oil then you'll never have to worry about anything sticking to the bottom.
I would drill a hole and put paracord on those sporks.
Hey brother! Great review! I just bought one after your review. The lid does not sit well on top of the pot. It’s a loose fit on mine. While the handle is in the locked position over the lid I can easily slide the lid off the pot with a tap of my finger or by shaking the pot. Lots of rattling inside from the bowls and sporks. Bowls do not nest snugly in the pot. Does your pot’s lid do the same?
No in fact my lid fits right in pretty firmly, and the handle has a place where you can push it through on one side so it cant fall down, Sounds like you might have got a bad one or something was off
I like stainless over aluminium but not because of the bull they are spreading about it. I love stainless steel due to the punishment it can take in the field. In the army we used both aluminium would bend out of shape in the backpack during transfer my stainless MVD messtin (both the big and the small) is still in shape.
Great video thanks enjoy your weekend
Does Stanley make a small 8 inch type skillet? Where did youfind this kit, I want one. Thaks for a good review. Have a good day and be safe.
I have the link below and yes they sell a skillet as well as a stand alone item!
Very informative review! Question:You placed,i think the smallest sized butane /propane fuel. Can the [cookset for [2] fit the next bigger sized canister?
I tried, the bigger ones wont fit
@@Iridium242 Tnx
Dang if it would have fit the medium size canister you were using to cook with I would totally buy that
Will that gas canister fit in the pot?
Not bad at all,
👍
Your Amazon page doesn't show this set at all. :( I have several versions that replaced my normal cooking pots/pans. I'd like this set too.
The link to buy it is on stanleys site its a brand new item so not on amazon just look in the description of the video
@@Iridium242 Ah, ok. I assumed it was also linked thru your Amazon link. Thank you.
I just bought this. Well made products by Stanley. Where did you get that cool stove at?
On Amazon a while back I think I did a video on it, check for a video on a Remote Canister Stove, or just search that on Amazon and you will find tons of them!
Thank You!
Hey Iridium, could you make a box of Mac N Cheese in that pot? That would be cool to see of it can be done.
Oh yeah easily, its a big pot, it may look small on the video but it would do a mac and cheese box easy
What is the diameter of the metal cup?
Actally the 2 diameters as I see its shape;
thanks
Looks nice like a bigger, refined version of the Stanley Cook Set (on sale for $13.47 at Stanley's Amazon store). I just used my cook set for 3 weeks and it was great. I have some burn marks on the inside and outside of the bottom. I got most of it off at home. Any tips to completely clean up burns on stainless steel?
Heat the pan with water and a bit of dawn or dish soap. Let it cool and that may do it. Sometimes a bit of white vinegar and hot water. Or else you can put a sheet or two of dryer softener in it with a little warm water. Let set overnight. If that doesn't do it than use baking soda on a soft cloth with or without white vinegar and give it a scrub if the softener sheet(s) didn't work, although it usually does. To help with cleaning up the exterior of pans from firepit, or charcoal char use dawn dishwashing soap and rub over the exterior of pans before putting them over those coals, etc.
@@theresaconley5930 Thank you! I'll try the dryer sheets.
What type of stove are you using? I really like how it's set up.
I think this one is the Lixada Remote cannister Stove
@@Iridium242Thanks. I'll check it out. I really like how it lowers the centre of gravity on the stove and how adjustable the flame is.
Where can I purchase the lil cooking stove ?
Probably on Amazon
Amazon.com there are many remote canister stoves to choose from.
I have that one and the two bowl cook set
I wish thay still made the Stanley adventure two pot cook set but they stop making it for some stupid reason the idiots.
🙋♀️👍🙏♥️🙏☝👵
1/2 of 4 and a half cups is 2 and 1/4 cups. ua-cam.com/video/_jp5qZXc2So/v-deo.html
Still LOVE this video, not hating, just pointing out just 1 inaccuracy!
Please, please weight the pot and lid . . . .
I hate sporks!
