This is a good little set and bravo. I see a lot of stanley reviewers and they open it, they talk about it. But they don't try it. I like that you put it on your stove and made something with it. What i really think is this would be the perfect 2 person camp set. I would loose 2 of the bowls, maybe get a larger folding serving stirring spoon, add a isobutane canister and a mini stove, probably stick with the 2 little sporks, and then a few extras like a bandana to grab the hot handle and a lighter, maybe a mini GI can opener and it would be good to go for a lunch or dinner stop on the road with my motorcycle.
That’s actually a neat little set, I still have mess kits from the early 90’s I throw in a pack if I go Camping but that’s been a few decades. They are still like new though.
Great cook set, with tons of room to add what’s needed.
We agree! Several of our scouts use them for there cook kit.

Sounds like that would make for a nice solid setup. I like to use the Humangear gobites DUO.
