@@robertedwardlee8227 there is always vacuum in your engine when its off-boost. Also turbo builds always use vacuum lines to tell ECU the boost pressure or/and open the turbo's wastegate (Im writting of memory I might be mistaken)
Everything seems normal....BMW engine, with high milage, tuned to hell. Just like old 1.5L 1500+HP F1 cars that were using only 150k+ blocks from used cars, because some metalurgical magic was going on there. Love it.

Had it since 16yrs old and now im rebuilding it. Great motivation!! I have a 400kw n55 135i dct but nothing beats the feel of a BT manual bmw... just so much fun! No technology to save you😅just you and the road man!
Getting that Speedo out is a 5min job, from there on only 4 screws are needed to remove the Backplate and there you have all your Controllights to take off ;-D

That’s probably better then doing this to a rather new engine block. Keep in mind that in the 80’s, when formula 1 raced with 1.5L inline 4 engines, BMW themselves only used engine blocks pulled from normal roadgoing vehicles that had at least 150k kilometers down, because an engine that held up that long will surely hold up a little longer under extreme loads. And btw, the made 1400hp from these engines
Hey, I have few questions on how did you swapped gs6-37dz in e36. What clutch you used? Did you used 328i automatic front part driveshaft? How you sorted out with the gear shifter?
I use k64 performance dual disc. e36 auto driveshaft is a bit short but it will work. Use gear lever that is mounted on cars body and weld linkage to your likings.
@@kujtek it was short but worked for me. Now i use longer 320i back half with type 188 differential it will go further into the spline, connection to cars frame must be modified. e36 center spline is weak and it twists so sooner or later it lets go.

I have seen 350hp with stock headgasket and stock engine. With athena cooperring headgasket you could probably go up to 450-500hp with no problems. Check out pazi88 channel on youtube they have good video on how to turbo m50/m52 engines.
I opened my engine a couple of weeks ago, my engine was at 270.000km, cylinder 3 was in bad condition, but the car seemed fine before i started my build. The point is, even if you have a low mileage engine, it could stil be in bad shape, depends on the service that has been done.

ZF trans coded/named "gs6-37dz" exists its from 2.0L diesel there are four versions of it TJEF/TJEJ/TJEM/THES. (E90, E60, E46 and more bmw chassis had them) SO SHUT THE FUCK UP EITHER GUY FUCKED UP DESCRIPTION OR YOUR BRAINDEAD 12 YEAR OLD THAT CANT GOOGLE FOR SHIT
@@ZEROTOSIDEWAYS probably stock if it's the stock head gasket bro.. 0.8 bar isnt that much boost 10.5 cr... problems start at 1.2bar on stock cr... on my m50b25BT i had to do a cometic head gasket and and ARP stud kit... after 1.2 bar had to do internals😅 ended up welding piston 2 in its sleeve.

Ich erkläre dir mal die Schubabschaltung: Wenn ein Motor mit Einspritzanlage keine Last hat (Drosselklappe geschlossen) und die Drehzahl ein minimum über Leerlauf ist beim rollen dann wird kein Kraftstoff eingespritzt. Dieses ist z.B. wenn du mit eingelegten Gang ohne Gas einen Berg runter rollst. Das ist zum Kraftstoff sparen. Also hat jeder normale PKW sowas. Und dieses zu deaktivieren ist das was die ganzen Kinder haben wollen damit es so auf dem Auspuff rozt oder knallt. Bei einem Turbomotor kann man sich damit den Turbo kaputt machen. Beim normalen Saugmotor macht das nix ausser unsauber verbrennen.
Yeah in Germany you will pay for a stock 325i Coupe in normal condition round about 10k. With turbo and normal condition 20-60k. Round about 350-700hp... Of course for this money you can get faster cars. But will it drift? How long would the engine life with normal maintenance? And an e36 is a perfect tracktool you can get it easily under 1200kg with turbo. Maybe 1000kg and then its a fu**** weapon😍
