I moved here 5 1/2 years ago, and honestly didn't think I would like it. But within a week, I realized I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Like the bumper sticker says, we're all here in Bisbee because we're not all there. That says it all..
This is a GREAT Town. I was born there in 1952. This was the best place to grow up in. Everyone seemed to know each other. I would like to move back there one day.
Eureka Springs and Bisbee are VERY close in my favorite places rankings. I absolutely adore Eureka Springs. I was recently there and currently editing a video tour of the town. Thanks so much for watching! 🤗❤️
As a Tucson Cab driver in the nineties, I drove through the area dozens of times. From Tucson to Douglas at the border was a great ride, passing by Tombstone. I stayed overnight once in a hotel after a outdoor Bluegrass show. Bisbee was just a cool little town. No crime. No gangs. It is a throwback to the forties and fifties.
Oh, wow! What a time to have been a taxi driver to witness the purity of these small towns in the desert/mountains. Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching! 🤗
We visited as tourists in 2010 and kept coming back. Finally in 2017 we said "why not?" and sold our home and built on 4 acres in nearby Hereford. Absolutely love it here. The weather is unparalleled,, people are great, Bisbee & Tombstone nearby, etc. One thing I really like about Bisbee - unlike Tombstone, it doesn't have that cheesy "tourist town" vibe. I don't know how it avoids it because there are always a lot of tourists visiting, but it succeeds. Do come visit, you'll love it.
I very much enjoyed seeing amazing Bisbee through your eyes. Your unique and relatable perspective is unlike others vlogs that I have watched. I have yet to visit this charming, soul-captivating town, but from this video, Bisbee makes a similar impression in my mind as Asheville, NC. And like Asheville, it has struck a chord in my heart. I look forward to visiting some day soon.
Awww, thanks so much for watching!!! Such kind words. Bisbee is such a gem and I really hope you get to see it one day. I’m heading to Asheville later this year, and your description makes me even MORE excited! 🤗❤️
So many wonderful places to stay. I highly recommend the Shady Dell. Not a high brow hotel, but definitely one of the more unique places to stay. I enjoy it thoroughly. ❤️
My band plays in Bisbee all the time; The Bisbee Grand, St. Elmo Bar, Bisbee Social Club. It's one of our favorite towns to play. It's ALWAYS a good time!
In the nineties i loved going to see the Mollys with Nancy McCallian, Kevin Schram, play in Tucson. I got a kick out of Kevin playing the Space Odessey song on Accordion.
It’s a beautiful city, so close to the US/Mexico border you can almost see Mexico. Fun people, fantastic history, lots of wonderful little shops, restaurants and hotels. Bring your walking shoes and beware of the elevation…it will sneak up on you if you’re not hydrated.
I live here in Bisbee, and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. By the way, you can see Mexico from the San Jose part of Bisbee. Like the bumper sticker says, we're all here in Bisbee cuz we're not all there. That about sums it up.
Lived in Bisbee in 92-3 , as a year of big city detox after moving west, from Boston. It was quite a huge change…but much needed. (Anyone remember Muddys? Renaissance Cafe? I worked at both) Though at that point, before internet, it proved to be too isolated for my then 20 something lifestyle needs. I didn’t move far, just to Tucson… so occasionally I take a day trip to walk around the steps in Tombstone canyon.
Most people fall in love with Bisbee, like my daughter and I, some peopleate looking for another LasVegas? Been there15 times, can't wait to go back! Warren, just down the road is very cool. Love their Saturday Farmers Market!
Going to bisbee at night, after 2am when st elmos (the bar) stops serving alcohol, it gets so peaceful. I love to go up ontop of castle rock ans just watch the lights from above. Bisbee is a spiritual place. I wish it was affordable to live there
lived in Sierra Vista in c. 1963. Tombstone was all dirt but then it was on 70 yrs since OK.... Naco was all dirt too. There was a section will 6 or more bars. Wood sidewalks, posts to tie a horse too. Girls were $5. Most bars were dark with a 20 watt yellow light bulb kind of flavor. One place was lit up like the carnival lots of red and white.... I was 15 and never partook. I rode my 3 speed bike from SV to Bisbee when I was 14... Going thru that tunnel was kinda scary 'cause it was wet and I was gaining speed without pedaling. Bisbee was a poor miners town. When we played football there were talks of rumbles and such but nothing happened. The mine pit seemed huge then. In 1987 I visited and it looked like a hole in the ground.
Thanks so much for watching and telling me/us your story! I love hearing about that area way back when. I bet it was absolutely amazing and viscerally real. Time has certainly changed Bisbee and the surrounding area a ton - which is both a good thing and a very bad thing. Glad you still have the memories or what it all once was. 🤗❤️
My husband and I got married in the Copper Queen Hotel in 2016. We were married at sundown in front of the firplace on the second floor lobby. We love Bisbee and go back every time we get a chance. I also love Bisbee turquoise from the Lavender Mine and collect jewelry made with it.
I know exactly where that fireplace is! I love that you guys got married there. The Copper Queen Hotel is one of my favorite places to stay, despite it being a little more run down over the years. But I still love it. 😍
My mom was born in 1940 just a few miles away from there. She said she always loved to go there. Was there just a few months ago. It's a really cute town.
I loved Bisbee when my twin and I visited with my mom and sister back in October, I did not like Tucson or Phoenix (Mom lives in Tucson) so it was great to be in a walkable town and Cafe Cornucopia was amazing and the mine tour was a great value for money imo I'd love it if it had a train line going to Phoenix or Tucson
Your video captured the spotlight used by the Castle Rock Hotel to flash the "Batman" signal on the rocks on the other side of the street. That alone, scares away the criminal element. Super safe town.
You mean the AMERICAS includes Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, etc. Also, here’s a definition of the USA: “The United States of America (USA or U.S.A.), commonly known as the United States (US or U.S.) or AMERICA, is a country primarily located in North America.” But thanks for the geography lesson 😂
Bisbee? Are you kidding? Went there once and never going back. Bisbee gave me the same creepy feeling I used to get when I watched the series Carnevale.
If you think this town is unique then you need to see Eureka Springs, Arkansas. A haunted Victorian village filled with restaurants, hotels, art, festivals all year long. It feels like you are a European village.
Funnily enough, I actually have a video tour of Eureka Springs coming out soon. One of my favorite places in the U.S. for sure. Always stay at the Crescent Hotel. Just the best!!!! ❤️🤗
Dude, Great video! Myself and wife met Raven the bus dude and he told us about Bisbee really cool town🤔 We should get together and buy the Warner open that dealio or of course find out some history first but ya we bring in one of your local business tubers Joseph Rodriguez get that hotel going🤔😂
I was supposed to be in Bisbee this week and this video was like pouring a margarita into an open womb......salt and all.....ouch!!! You are definitely spot on about feeling at home there and it carries the same kinda vibe that maybe Key West and Salem would, but its not a tourist trap racket like Salem has become. Better driving than Massachusetts 😅
I agree that there are far better towns even in Arizona, but I’ve always had an affinity for bisbee since my first visit almost 15 years ago. Maybe I’m blind to what it’s become
The only thing I know about this town and the only reason I know this town exists,is because of the great comedian Doug Stanhope. He said he visited there one time and loved it so much,he moved there and has been there ever since. Cool looking town
@@ObscuristTourist I lived in Bisbee for five years, had a gallery there. It has some drawbacks too. Bad behavior by residents and visitors alike is not at all uncommon and it is the weekend-drunk capitol of Arizona, if not the entire Southwest, but all towns have their problems. The town also had an obnoxious city inspector I had to throw out of my place more than once. The shops are great, and if you didn't visit the Vietnamese Phó restaurant, you really blew it. ;-)
He invites people over for the Super Bowl, also Johnny Depp can be seen here sometimes. I did last spring, but he was in a Speedo and i kinda went my own way

Born in Bisbee in 1972! Howdy, fellow Bisbee born!
I feel the same way about Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The house at 11:50 is on Airbnb. I just looked at it last night.
Eureka Springs and Bisbee are VERY close in my favorite places rankings. I absolutely adore Eureka Springs. I was recently there and currently editing a video tour of the town. Thanks so much for watching! 🤗❤️
I lived down the road in Douglas. I love Bisbee. Great town. BTW the Beatles mural is from "Help", not "Sergeant Pepper" 😂
Haha. I misspoke on the Beatles mural! I’ve been to Douglas too! Interesting place. A
100% recommend to visit this city. Calm, beautiful. It's close to historic Tombstone, AZ too.
Yes, I did not mention the proximity to the amazing Tombstone 🤗
Mr. Patrick, The best Bisbee tour I've seen. Thank you. I have walked the town and it is unique. Tucson, AZ.
Thank you so much for watching. I’m glad you enjoyed it! Ps. I LOVE Tucson!!!! 🤗❤️
I loved living there ! I lived there till the mines closed I was 13 when I left . Now I’m 63
cute town! Beautiful skies. Hope to visit this little town Bisbee. Thank you for sharing 💯👍😊
I would take ya on a date there. 🌹🌹🌹 Well a tour
Magical place, 1 day is not enough~ so beautifully unique ~

If you like Bisbee, youd love Jerome- on the mountain in between Prescott and Sedona - fantastic views!!!
I didn't think much of Jerome, especially that drive up from the Prescott side.
I was told the same, but that Jerome is only a 1-day experience whereas Bisbee can hold my attention for weeks.

Never would have known about , but for watching the film Violent Saturday! 😊
I’ve driven through Bisbe many times but never stopped to enjoy it!
Where do u live? How come u never stopped to check it out
I was there last summer. Spent 3 days. I loved every second. Beautiful place indeed. ❤
I’ve never been in the summer, but I bet it’s insanely hot! 🥵

Bisbee is close to Tombstone with wild west history of it's own. Look up the Bisbee massacre.
I didn't see the charm when I went there last year. Over-hyped.
Interesting history, but everybody was hanging out around the town smoking pot. Doing nothing.
Yeah, definitely wasn’t like that pre-pandemic (or not that I remember it that way) - but it is more like what you are saying nowadays. 😂

There were not many people around because it was the middle of the pandemic … and Thanksgiving. Also, there is a hospital there.
